Description

A burly dwarf-like creature is standing before you, his stout form rising to a height of four and a half feet. Armed with a bullish neck, and frame the width of a man nearly twice his size; a robust pot belly spills over a belt affixed with leathery-fleshed skulls. A murder of crows seem to perpetually follow him, cawing and feasting on some of the flesh still clinging to the skulls on his belt; though he doesn't seem to mind them one bit. His hair is greasy and thin, a sooty ashen color, it matches his wispy beard and the faint tufts of hair still clinging to a ghastly-white scalp. Feral eyes stare out at the world with a ravenous hunger; as if he's ready to pulverize anything and everything in his path.

Role

Bujoch the Butcher

Added Sun Aug 4 23:52:39 2013 at level 31:
- Born to a noble caste of Anti-Paladins known as the GrimeHammers of
Aran'Gird; known to abduct dwarven war-brides and breed sons with them,
Bujoch is one of these half-duergar.

- Raised in the dark arts of sorcery until the age of twenty-five, where he
simply kills his tutor, father, and mother before fleeing to the surface
world of Thera. He tries to keep this shameful past, including his dwarven
heritage from the other BattleRagers; it is part of what makes him so adament
to atone for his sins, seeking redemption through Combat and Victory.

- Has a penchant love for brutality and ale; is willing to charge almost any
obstacle in an attempt to overcome with raw, enduring strength.

- Has a particular hatred towards Dwarves, Elves, and Orcs; willing to kill them on sight
should they cross him.

The Disciple of the Sanguine Chalice

Added Wed Aug 7 14:26:46 2013 at level 40:
- Has begun worshipping the Imperator and Lord of the Sanguine Chalice,
Akresius. He has paid homage to his Lord at his shrine and seeks to embark on
the next steps in his goal to become Thera's greatest warrior.

- Is keen to atone for his past sins, in this he tries to be the very best
BattleRager he can be; warding off adversity in any form where he might find
it.

- Has kept his past a secret from most of his kin and is still not eager to
open up about it unless it's tricked out of him. Often this can be done by
striking at his personal pride and forcing the past out of him.

- Has a admiration for both Commander Brizlin and Drillmaster Ruosti,
following each of there decrees without question or hesitation.

Relations with Gedunthos

Added Sun Aug 18 14:18:20 2013 at level 51:
After a few decades warring with dozens of Imperial Blades and Shadows, and
only a handful of any real Magi; Bujoch and Gedunthos got to talking and a
plan was hatched one day between both duergar. The idea was simple,
infiltrate the will and command of Emperor Merf; albeit doing so as carefully
as possible, so as to not attract attention to the plan. This unity the two
duergar have created may also one day foster into something more and greater;
the utter annihilation and destruction of the Black Sect. Even now, without
the ability to dismantle it, Gedunthos aids Bujoch with vital information,
such as the locations of members of the Black Sect, and other Magi aligned to
Emperor Merf.

The alliance the two have hatched goes beyond simple appearances, the two
will co-ordinate extensively when Bujoch deems it required; normally when
confronting war-parties or engagements where the odds are neigh impossible
for him to do it alone. In many ways, it is simply two duergar doing what
they need to in a world where near every living breathing soul wants them
dead.

A Century of Warfare

Added Mon Aug 26 02:58:38 2013 at level 51:
Bujoch has been hardened and desensitized by the trials of combat and warfare
he leaves and breathes each and every waking moment. Whether it is the armies
of the Holy Fortress or the Blades of the Dark Empire, the Savages of
Thar-Eris, or the Magistrates of the Blood Tribunal, to the filthy Orcs of
the Grinning Skulls, where there is a Legend, there is often an enemy sworn
to the eradication of Bujoch the Butcher.

The grimy duergar has learned to fight back against these seemingly
impossible and long odds by invoking the tenants of the War Room and forging
himself like a sword of tempered steel; smashing his opponents as quickly and
painfully as possible wherever he can find the opportune moment to do so.
This has gone to such an extent that one of the pretexts of his attacks is
often to simply invoke fear into those who would try to hunt him; where many
once attacked him at each and every opportunity they could find, a good
majority of those many have developed a healthy measure of fear for the
duergar, some even abandoning the crusade against him entirely.

Striving to live up to the ideals of his ancestors, while also doing
everything he can to actually win the War against the Arcane, Bujoch is a
firm believer that the best way to stop other guilds from aiding Magi is to
make them literally fear being at the sides, or scheming alongside sorcerous
betrayers. Cunning and crafty, he has learned that the best method of dealing
with would-be attackers, or those who hunt him when wounded is to strike at
them first and scatter what forces they have available... for fighting three
or two enemies at once is muc

Relationships with other BattleRagers.

Added Mon Aug 26 03:19:49 2013 at level 51:
Ruosti: Bujoch see's Ruosti as an older brother and as a staunch leader and
equal in the War; he will listen to his word and command, but is likely to
use his cunning when required to bend agreements Ruosti may have in place
with members of factions such as the Holy Fortress; those who Bujoch see's as
spinning tall tales and lies... to him, Ruosti will never know the struggle
and personal War he wages with the Phoenix and the followers of its war-like
dogma.

Gilut: A love and hate relationship; on one hand the duergar had deep
admiration and respect for the dwarf because of his fighting prowess and deep
commitment to Parity and Pride. On the other hand, he's a dwarf and a damned
longbeard and nothing in Thera will ever change that about his
brother-at-arms. He would never openly admit that he cares about the
longbeard, however he is quick to aid him when outnumbered in a pitched fray,
and actually enjoys the company of the dwarf most of the time.

Crraya: Where Ruosti is like Bujochs older brother, Crraya is like his
younger sister; they hunt together at times and scout for one another and
each is likely to pause and watch one anothers battles, aiding where they
can, while still always holding up to the highest standard of Parity. Crraya
is one of the few souls in the Village that Bujoch might willingly put his
life up for in a battle.

Ozzy the Drow: Similar to Crraya with how close she is to Bujoch, the young
drow is both a little brother to Bujoch and one of his pupils; having
instructed the drow on combat since they were both quite young, he is adament
in watching and growing his student into one of the fiercest warriors in
Thera. He has very high standards he tries to hold Ozzy to; despite the drow
being a Defender.

Cabrefen: While they aren't the sort to talk much to one another, except when
discussing strategy, Cabrefen has proven to be a trusted and dependable ally
to Bujoch, often willing to wade against any force or obstacle alongside him
in an attempt to overcome long odds. He see's Cabrefen as one of the
strongest Villagers; well-caapble of holding his own in a fight.

Ragyth: The closest thing to an enemy Bujoch has within his family is this
Storm Giant; often called Stormie by the Butcher. They bicker and argue quite
a bit, and have even threathened to take one another to the Circle over
something as trivial as miscommunication... however deep down each respects
the other, despite a certain unwillingness to go out of one anothers way to
truly aid the other. They are just as likely to compete to see who can seize
a cabal icon faster, as they are to aid one another in doing it. They tend to
only fight alongside each other when there is no other alternative and
strategy and the War demands it.

Sazae: The young woodsman is a pair of eyes and ears that have become almost
as close to him as Crraya and Ozzy. He is proving himself an asset.

Blood and Ragyth, Hatred of the Stormborn

Added Thu Sep 5 04:04:13 2013 at level 51:
Where once Bujoch actually trusted Ragyth to some extent, it is now the belief of this duergar that the Stormborn called
Ragyth has proven time and again to be useless and small-minded when waging War against the Arcane; where one must keep and cherish Parity and Courage, in the
eyes of Bujoch the Stormborn is too quick to abandon sensibility, for the sake of a percieved Honor or Slight; in this the duergar finds it utterly dangerous
to impart even a hint of trust in the giant, particularly in times of War. The most notable and memorable encounter would be when Bujoch, Gilut, and Ragyth moved
to assail the Island. Bujoch launched an early attack, breaking the Guardian of the Isle and gravelly wounding the Eldritch before drawing back with Gilut,
upon the retreat they were beset by Twizoua, a gnome warrior and the Rhyme of the Nexuns, Beija. Gilut was able to retreat early, but at the cost of
Bujoch standing his ground and sending both assailants back. Entering the bloodthirst in a last ditch attempt to ward off Twizoua as his hamstring was cut
and he was bleeding from all wounds, Bujoch thwarted the Nexun pair, retreating into the Weald to the side of the Stormborn Ragyth. Knowing full well a raid
had commenced, the Stormborn decided he would engage, and then flee from a freshly recovered Beija, engaging in combat only after Bujoch had fallen, as at this
point he had sent back Twizoua and Beija once, only to be finished off by the Rhyme upon a successful flank; a flank where Ragyth left him to die for the sake of Parity that
does not exist in such a situation, and even moreso in the Siege; this is how Bujoch see's it, as a Stormborn caring so much about trying to appear better, as to actually cost
the life of those he dares to call his brethren and kin.

The shouting match between the pair was furious afterwards, with Bujoch calling Ragyth to the circle, only to be denied at first, and later accepted, after Bujoch
Gilut went as a pair and reclaimed the Key they had lost.

Having seen Ragyth emerge from her hut, only to depart a split second later, before Bujoch could even utter a single word from his lips, he has decided
that only the Circle will truly settle this dispute they have; in this he quietly seeks out the Stormborn, to make it clear he does not stand for a BattleRager who si blindly
cares about solely themselves, that they leave brethren to die in situations where unity is required. In the mind of the duergar, if a heart seemingly so black and
repulsive as his can understand the simple concepts and laws of the War Room, that a Stormborn should act on them even faster.

Bujoch has not quickly forgotten the chastizing the Stormborn tried to give to him for entering his bloodhaze against single opponents, in situations where often a broken
Magi sits at his feet; the quarrel truly began at that moment, and since then has evolved in something greater, something only blood will settle.

Bujochs tendencies towards other Races (New Role Reflecting Change over the Years)

Added Thu Sep 5 04:19:33 2013 at level 51:
Dwarves: Bujoch no longer hates the Dwarvish race as he once did, his time spent amongst Gilut has earned the race a sense of admiration, and the battles he has
has had to endure against what he calls the longbeards has truly been epic at times... they being amongst the few Therans actively engaging him in single combat
regardless of profession or age. The fine smithwork of Gilut has also gleamed a hungry fascination within the duergar, he genuinely appreciates and respects the skilled
hands of Gilut, seeing the dwarf as close as he would any other BattleRager truly close to him.

Duergar: Bujoch favours his own people above any other Theran race, it his belief that should the War against the Arcane ever end, that it will be him and
his people that will rule Thera under an iron gauntlet for all the days to come. He has a thirsty desire to see what duergar join the Empire, be a part of his attempt to
cause enough strife and chaos so as to force Merf to step down from his post as Emperor. Gedunthos is his closest in this pursuit, whereas Ogsert is the Villager
which Bujoch would likely go the furthest out of his way for.

Elf: Little has changed with his view of Elves, he views them as a weak people, particularly after the incessant whining of Rydell and Deaer, despite them constantly
gating and healing Maran warriors who hunt and engage Bujoch in battle frequently. He views such slights with little concern, and often simply gives such a creature
a rap or two on the skull before going back to his most passionate pursuit of hunting down sorcerors. Bujoch sees Elves as among the weakest of all Theran races,
as time and again they prove only to have a thousand excuses, and are more often then not so arrogant, they forget to see how they appear in the eyes of others.

Orcs: Bujochs hatred towards the Orcs has lessened significantly after facing off against Yegtheg and Ruk, both powerful leaders amongst the Grinning Skulls
Clan. While much of the Orcish race is weak, those few which have shown strength have earned a measure of true respect from Bujoch; it goes a great
ways in so far as his tactical mindset is concerned, for an Orc who isn't disposed of quickly in battle, particularly mass frays, becomes an increasingly difficult
and dangerous creature to contain and finish a fray against. Bujoch is always careful around these creatures, particularly with there penchant desire to constantly hold and
seize the bloody head and assist the Nexuns in weakening the veil.

Storm Giants: Bujoch has developed a hatred for Storm Giants nearly equal to his disgust and repulsion for Elves, he views them as a weaker and lesser race, one
ultimately manifests into hatred and anger... he has a particularly distaste for Storm Giant Paladins, easily finding reasons to kill them.
