Description

Standing before you is man more slender and a bit taller then an average svirfnebli, standing just over four feet in height. Although strong and fit, his beauty would rival even the fairest of Heraldic performer, yet rugged enough to be considered "manly". His skin appears flawlessly smooth and light in complexion. His unblemished ears are large and meaty, looking like earthy mushrooms growing from his lusterous brown hair. His wide steel-grey eyes dart hurriedly about, constantly assessing the situation about him. As you look closer you also notice:

Byantar's formative years

Added Sun Mar 8 15:27:01 2015 at level 40:

* Born and raised in Lower Cragstone
* Son of wealthy miner, Byantar is set to inherit family diamond mines
* Strong and good looking, he is fancied by King Dortangil of Cragstone  
for his personal guard (and, most likely, a sexual playtoy as well)
* Rebuffed King's advances to concentrate on family business
* Unrebuffed, King secretly sent his enchanters to destroy family mine, to  
manupulate Byantar into service
* Mine was destroyed, dozens of workers, including his father, were killed
* Byantar was buried in the rubble, but survived - resulting in a fear of
confined spaces and the earth that's in his blood
* Burdened by guilt (for surviving while his father and dozens others died),
Byantar distributed his family's wealth to the families of his workers
* Byantar goes into service of the King, and takes up the axe and spear of
the King's guard, and is most comfortable with the pickaxe of miners
* Works his way from gate guard, to elite guard, and into the King's personal
guard 
* Eventually, Byantar overhears two of the King's advisors speaking of "the
blind fool, Byantar" and pieces together the King's plot
* Revolts against the King, leaving his service, and vows revenge against
the King and the magi he conspired with
* Distrustful of his kin, Byantar moves to South Dairein to be close enough
to hear of svirfnebli news and information, but far enough away to remain
outside the King's reach
* Byantar was attacked by a group of magi and warrior soon after arriving
topside, reinforcing his dislike of magi
