Description

A milky white hulk centers your attention for a moment. Looking closer, Byren's contrasting jet black hair, shortly cropped and thick as can be, nearly hides entirely under his headwear. Pale yet scar and wound riddled skin is scarcely spotted amidst his wide array of armor from many lands. The blue-eyed giant ought to clear thirteen feet tall, and his body is equally built in frame. His large body still yet, floats effortlessly off the ground, showing the obvious to where this giants blood line hails. The white giant is armed, and appears disinterested in you.

. More than two centuries now, Byren has fought, bled, and battled his way
. among the ranks of the Village, and among the fields of War. Trying his destiny
. on several journeys into the northlands, even beset with his giantess Kylerah,
. he has been unable to claim what was believed his birth rite, stripped of him
. so long ago, the Kingdom of the White Barbarians.     Facing King Gorindos
. but only enough to wretch his flamberge from his grasp, Byren now realises that
. this clan was never meant to be.

.  Paved the way through the village with his strength, his courage, and honor,
. Byren has decidedly taken full heritage to his brothers and sisters, he will
. stake his clan name as Battle, in kind to Battleragers.  Byren Battle now
. stands to the test of time, and the chipping zaps of the battle-magi, in his war

. He and King Gorindos will and do have unsettled matters, as will he against the
. oncoming forces of Udgaard Loke's legion. Let it be known, Byren will not back down

Byrens quest into the Frozen North

. Having proven himself before the clan of BattleRagers, Byren
has begun his journey as a Berserker, Thera's most famed and
feared warriors. Using his new powers, and tactics, his first
of many attempts to infiltrate Udgaard Loke's patrollers and
trek deep into the northlands was quickly halted.   Fighting
furiously, he managed to kill a small handful, but there were
too many guarding the only pass through Bryn Shander, and
he was forced to turn back.

Hearing rumors of a living King amongst the barbarians in
the north, Byren knows deep inside himself that royalty
is, or was, in his blood.  His heritage cannot go ignored,
and he will continue to journey back to his homelands, in
search of his past, and the life robbed of him. Perhaps
one day he might unite the clans, and beat back Loke's
advancement into the mountains, knowing too well it is
driven by Tribunal wizards.

This being said, Byren has lost trust in the Tribunal,
and regards them as dangerous, although not as dangerous
as magic. The leaderdom of the Tribunal have been spoiled
with dark magic and undeath, perhaps what has been driving
Udgaard Loke to expand.   He will watch them carefully, nearly
so as the Nexans, and the Imperials.  The scions may have
a hand in this as well, who can truly know with the magi.

Perhaps one of the Outlanders might have more information
about Loke's movements, or a secret path beyond the patrollers.
He must find a way to bypass them, or train harder until he
can kill them outright. This is not a matter for the clan of
Battle however, and is a quest Byren must complete on his
own means, if he ever seeks the heritage that is lost.

A clan to belong to, and a clan to remember.

. Cast abroad from Galadons grasp, Byren has
been able to find his way, learn more of this
clan known as the BattleRagers, and ally to
join amongst them in the war against magic,
and its wielders.

As disinterested and uncaring for the personal
motives of his peers, the loner-type outcast
is passionate in blood. Byren's insatiable appetite
for battle, war, and bloodshed, attest to his
identity that Strength is a constant earn, a
consistant battle, rather than simple stature.

Driven to chip away his flaws and hone his blades
and wisdom as one, his focus are the magi,
and finishing the longest living war Thera has
truly known, that against magic.



Perhaps, in the resting moments of his journeys,
he might begin the trek into his past, the
frozen northlands, and seek the glory and
honor that was robbed of him, more than a
century ago. A true testament to claim his
bloodline, and unite the clans.

Byren's Battle

.    Nearly a century before this day, Byren lived within
another life, untouched and untamed. Far, far into the
frozen northlands, where Barbarians only law was strength,
and magicians and traders only gravely ventured.

.  Within a small, isolated clan, Byren was a young warrior
training to his adulthood. A clan where the leaders were
the strongest, and passion of war and battle were life. Hard
preached of the deciept and lies of Delleis, an ancient
figure of the barbarians past, magic, slavery, and power
without strength, were what the clan preached as their
enemy.  Indifferent to the woes of upset, the self-righteous
paladin clans, as well to the drow trade routes, this now
lost clan of giants knew only strength.


Byren, a young and naieve warrior, had lost his way in
the mountains one winter, unfortunately for him, the same
winter Udgaard Loke began their expansion, and the legions
of soldiers from many cities alike, were hired to patrol
for the barbarians, and slowly push them deeper into the
mountains, if they were not killed outright. Young as Byren
was, it was believed he could simply be imprisoned and
re-taught, if he was sent back to Galadon with the next
rotation of patrollers.

Byren does not forget, and today he has been released,
released to find his roots thought now to be lost, and
to seek out a new clan, one that will too, war against
the magi, and capture vengeance, and blood.
