Description
The man that stands before you is merely six feet in heighth and yet due to
his wide, broad shoulders and barrel chest he seems a rather imposing figure.
Due to his profession his hair is cropped close against his skull, so that no
one or no thing can even pinch his hair between their fingers much less grab
it. If you look close you can see his hair is a bright blonde in color, so
blonde as to being almost considered white. Steel gray marks his eyes, and a
rather large, ugly scar runs from his right cheek bone across his face, over
his nose and ends near his left ear. He has a strong, solid square jaw that
is set in determination. As your eyes move lower to take in the rest of his
frame you notce a nasty scar that ropes around his right forearm and appears
to go down towards his hand. Thick, powerful looking legs serves as his base
and as he moves you notice that while he walks with the confidence as well
as the fluid and grace only a warrior can possess, he walks with a rolling
gait. When you notice his skin is dark bronze in color and appears weathered,
that along with his gait could more than likely mean that he has spent quite
a bit of time at sea...

When he was but a lad, Cadeyrn traveled with his family, the family he traveled
with consisted of his older brother, mother and father. They would sail
across the seas and to distant lands. His family, were merchants, making their
living by sailing to one place or another. Bringing goods from distant lands,
to other far away lands. His brother and father taught him to fight with a
harpoon. They also taught him to never limit himself to just one weapon, learn
everything he can so that any weapon he finds on the ground he could be used
like an extension of his arm. When his brother came of his age, his parents
as their parents before them, put him to port where ever he wished and he was
to make it on his own like his parents did. With his brother gone Cadeyrn had
more duties and responsibilities. As he got older his parents had another son
and so like his brother before him, he taught his little brother along with
his father, the ins and outs of sailing as well as fighting. As he came of age
he waited with apprehension on where he would go into port and leave everything
he knew behind. However, before such could happen a massive storm blew in
across the seas. The waves and wind of the storm was so bad that it destroyed
their little family boat. They were closer to land than they expected yet
they were in shark infested waters. Cadeyrn's arm, during the destruction of
their family boat, had gotten caught in some rigging and while he was tossed
about in the water and wind, the line cut deep into his arm. His mother and
father had been torn by the splintering wood so were bleeding more heavily.
The sharks went after Cadeyrn's parents first and tore them to shreds, as one
shark swam by it's tail smacked Cadeyrn right across the face, the rough skin
of the shark flaying his face open like a piece of meat. The sharks having
been satisfied left the area. His brother was nowhere to be seen, hanging
onto a piece of driftwood Cadeyrn closed his eyes praying that it was nothing
but a nightmare. Yet when he woke he found himself in a river among some docks,
he later learned that the town he washed up in was called Galadon...
An opening of the eyes

After living with his parents, who were merchants, he realizes how much civilization
relies upon coins. After having learned to respect the wilds his parents would
travel to he has frowned upon their heavy usage of coins. Preferring the wilds
and the open seas rather than stone towns and the people who consider themselves
civilized, he has determined to cut ties off from civilization. While young
he saw the necessity of having coin for food when he could not get it readily
but now that he has seen how one can live without having to buy for food and
barter for gear or items instead of actually using coin, he has determined to
join the Refuge and aid in their destruction of civilization. Cadeyrn has
awaited the day to find his own path and now he has, the only thing that is
left, is to walk this path to see where it leads.
War on Civilization

After having decided to join the Refuge, he thought more upon the decision and
which God or Goddess would be the one he should follow. After much thought he
decided upon the Goddess of War, Fire and Poetry, Lady Iunna. Cadeyrn thought
to himself who better to worship than Her as he seeks to wage War against the
Spire and civilization in general. What better weapon than Fire to raze them
both to the ground and what better way to record such doings than through Poetry
that would be remembered and passed down generation to generation. Cadeyrn
decided that he would bring the Poetry of War and Fire within himself and
unleash it upon those of the Spire and those who aid them and the growth of
civilization.
Thinking Upon the Past

It has been six years since Cadeyrn's family died, six lonely years of training
and fighting, trying to get a home within the Refuge then finally doing so.
Lately he has been thinking upon the past, his parents and his brothers, hoping
beyond hope that his little brother is safe. As he lets his mind wander through
the past he remembers the times he had with his family, both good and bad.
However, as he recalled how his parents hoarded as many coins as they could,
it once again stirs the Fires within him. Making himself disgusted with that
facet of his family. While the Fires in him still burn he also recalls the
wild places his family went and how they showed him to respect the wilds. So
to honor his parents and defy them at the same time he has hardened his resolve
in staying with the Refuge and continuing to wage war on Civilization which
has not only killed and is killing the wilds but indirectly also killed his
parents.
Grayfeather

After deciding he'd like a last name like all the others he has noticed he
meditated alone for a long time. Allowing his mind and soul to truly wander
inside himself, searching for the answer to his question. After the long
meditation session he knew what his last name was to be. Considering his path
in life and in the Refuge he knew the first part of his last name was to be
Gray. It wasn't particularly hard to figure that one out, but it took some
time to figure out the last part of his last name, more so than the first.
Once again after a long meditation he knew what his entire last name was to
be. Due to his chaotic nature and one to follow the wind rather than sit still,
he knew the last part of his last name to be feather. So after much soul
searching he knew from then on, his proper name...Cadeyrn Grayfeather.
Cid

Cid got to be Harbinger over Grayfeather after Balta ascended. Now Cid
has left to go home and repair the damage that has been done there with his
Elders. With no Harbinger Grayfeather decided that once again it is time he
try and become the Harbinger. He knew he only had to bide his time before
trying again and now that time is upon him. Once again he will cast the
bones and hope to become the Harbinger that he know he can be. Not only
that but the Harbinger that the Refuge deserves and should have.
