Caebrylla grew up in the gnomish city of Hillcrest. She has always had an
affinity towards animals. She loved to venture outside of the city to study
the animals. One day she spied a deer and called to it. To her surprise the
deer came within 2 feet of her and looked into her eyes for a moment before
sprinting away. Everyday after that she found more and more animals were
devoid of any fear towards her and were willing to approach close enough for
her to pet them.
One day, while daydreaming and absently petting a jackrabbits fur, she was
approached by a small figure in mottled green and brown leathers. "Greetings;role + druidess." came the squeeky voice of the pixie. After Caebrylla explained
that she is not a druidess, the pixie remarked that she should be with her
natural affinity towards animals.
When Caebrylla was old enough to venture out on her own, she sought the ways
of the druid, but was never able to learn how to channel the power of her
goddess, Amaranthe. After many failures, she decided if she can't protect the
forests as a druid, she would do so as an animal. She ventured to Galadon to
study the ways of shifting her form. Once she masters this ability, she
plans to spend all of her days in the forest playing with the animals and
dispatching those who would do them harm.
She has heard of the Outlanders of Thar-Eris, and though she feels an
affinity towards their numbers, she does not feel she belongs among them. She
does not hate civilization nor the law, she only cares about protecting her
friends, the creatures of the forest. So she lives the life of a forest
hermit who occassionally speaks to others.
