Description
A huge towering figure, probably around fourteen feet high is rather
distinguished by its blazing bright aquamarine skin, reminding you strongly
of translucent waters and pleasant sunny weather. His face is proportionate,
albeit a bit scarred with old wounds. The deep blue eyes are somewhat
large, even on that humongous face. The strong arms seem to be bulging
with power, seemingly capable of ripping out trees, trunks and all.
The old scars are not contained to the face, as they seem numerous all
around his whole body. That does not seem to faze the giant, however,
as he carries himself as if no pain exists nor any worry in the world.
Role
The beginning

Calleston grew up happy. Since his early days, the fish was plentiful,
the storms rather pleasant to play in, and the waves ticklish.
The childhood passed, however, and Stormbreaths had a rather long
conversation about their son's future. There is a tradition in the
family, to protect and to serve those less fortunate than themselves.
Best deemed suited for a guild of paladins, off Calleston went.
Not that he was opposed any. Long fond of tales of the incredible
heroic feats accomplished by the ancestors of the same guild, he was
enamored by the choice and rather emboldened.
Since nothing bad ever happened to him, Calleston grew up callous
and without a fear of anything. He would jump in to help no matter
the task and since his physical strength was great, there seemed to
be nothing he couldn't handle. However, the duties of a paladin and
especially encounters with evil schemers and evil doers of all kinds
took a tall on a young storm's mind. Whereas before, he could handle
anything with ease, now he was a small squire in training, easily
bested by a few spells or can be disposed of with a lucky swing of
anti-paladin's axe. New to this vulnerability, but still rather reckless,
Calleston run into a few troublesome situations and have discovered the
hard way that he's in fact not invulnerable. Still bold, but not as naive,
he developed a touch mind, prone to mood swings due to this newfound
adjustment to the world around him.
However, he very much despised this new weakness in himself and tried
to appear as careless and as easygoing as before, striving for purity
of thought, of action, of his duties. It has proven quite difficult to
balance his feelings, especially the darker ones, and still appear as
cheery and helpful and always in good spirits, but he tries.
He always tries. Hard. Very hard.
The progress

As Calleston grew in knowledge and power, many battles have passed.
Many odd feelings have also passed, with Calleston learning
to ignore those not suited well to his station and his inclinations.
It is hard at times to concentrate on the task at hand with
the thoughts always swirling and disturbing and pulling to Chaos.
However, for Calleston the method that works is to focus
heavily upon his duties, his prayers and his research.
The book on the virtues of Light is progressing rather well,
albeit somewhat missing editorial comments so far, but perhaps
so far the chapters do not present too much discord.
It helps to continue to reflect upon the topic of the Light as
it presents a rather welcome distraction from any other feeling.
The Fortress provides good training and comrades, as well as
the additional opportunity to battle the shadow and darkness.
Many a conversation that enlightens can also be had within
the halls, with furthering Calleston's understanding of the Light.
