Description
A lithe but thickly sinewed half-elf stands hunched a bit, looking about
furtively. His thin beard is barely noticeable, but neatly cropped in
thin lines about his jawline and mouth as if to accentuate his features.
His hair is jet black, greased and pulled back tightly from his brow, held
there with a twine of red stained leather fixed with a silver clasp of an
empty palm. His hands, while frail, move with the deftness of a skilled
artisan. Garbed in a simple gray robe, gray stained leathers and knee
high laced soft soled boots, the hefty jewel encrusted pouch at his waist
does not compliment his attire.

Born of the rape of an elven servant lady in the palace of Darsylon by an
Imperial thug, Caradoc was taken in by the elves and raised in the hallways
and byways of their city. He always felt as though he was treated just well
enough, and barely endurred by the High Elves about him. More, they chose
not to despise him, simply to ignore him. But his mother loved him with all
of her heart, and he her. As he grew older he understood the trials she had
put herself through, being a simple servant taking on the responsibility of
rasising a half-breed. And where he had seen and felt the coldness with
which the elves treated him, he now saw that his mother endurred much as
well.
While Caradoc was granted a place to sleep in the stalls behind the palace
yards, and was fed from the scraps of the servants tables, he saw that his
mother suffered the same plight, and knew that such was due to his own
existence. He vowed to himself that he would provide for her the life she
deserved. Though he was given no formal training by the elves, he watched
from the shadows and picked up their traits and tacts, his favorite place to
spend the day was behind the guild of thieves, peaking through a small crack
that gave a miniscule view of the ongoings therein. As he grew, he adopted
these ways as his own, and set out to make good on his vow to his mother.
