Description
The figure before you seems to flicker in and out
of view momentarily. As your gaze settles upon
her you see that this arial is around 5 feet tall.
A tiny thing, her slim form seem quite agile even
with those large wings attached to her petite frame.
Bright orange, with random patches of black, feathers
cover all exposed skin. Her face is handome at best
while still possessing many prominent features. Big eyes,
akin to black orbs, give way to a dangerous gaze.
A deep red and quite large beak perches itself under
her powerful eyes and small mouth.
Role
The Beginning of a Cycle
Added Fri May 11 14:00:39 2012 at level 34:
Time stands still for no one. The seasons come and go as the world
marches forward with in the confines of the great cycle.
Many moons ago, the City of the Arials was once a small village nestled
high above in the clouds. This was long before the taint of civilization
reached it's diseased hands that far. Soon arials had greed infiltrating
their hearts and corrupting their souls. Many of the original settlers
left the confines of this metropolis of debauchery. Forgoing the merchants
and monarchy to live as they once had... Free and Simple.
It was with this first exodus from the city that the ancestors of Cgadi set
up home with in the nearby mountains. Years later, Cgadi was born. She lived
in a small cave converted into a makeshift home. There she grew up in a small
family consisting of her parents and a younger brother. Her mother had a natural
talent for elemental magic, a small spark but something none the less. Cgadi
showed the same talents but on a much larger scale so her mother encouraged her
to learn as much magic as she could. Her parents also taught her of the old ways
and how to live off the land without raping it for it's resources. Her father
once had a dream of leaving the mountainside and seeking out those who fight for
Thar-Eris and joining their numbers, alas he gave up that dream to have a family.
But he told bedtime stories to Cgadi and her brother on how the world once was and
will be again.
Upon reaching her birth date where she came of age, Cgadi decided to leave her family
in an attempt to live her dream, her father's dream and her mother's dream. She went
through the lands, finding the most powerful of the elemental mages who still held
Thar-Eris in their hearts and learned very potent magic in the process. She preached
to any who would listen on the perils of letting greed into their homes and hearts.
She cherished the beauty she saw from nature in the different parts of Thar-Eris.
Soon her journey started leading her down a different path... one that begins with in an
ancient tree.
Religion

Cgadi follows the Lady Amaranthe , her actions be guided by
the sphere of Seasons. She seeks to one day be a part
of the Coven. In her eyes, Amaranthe manifests herself as
the mother. She sees Amaranthe as the mother of all things.
Cgadi also puts heavy emphasis upon the seasons and how they
must continue, must change for the world to keep turning the
way it does. She also sees many things as cycles or seasons.
To Cgadi, birth is like spring where death is like winter.
The seasons come and go and the sun sets and rise.
The defilement of the lands.
Added Sun Jun 24 05:13:57 2012 at level 51:
Cgadi has seen the defilement of the lands near the Tree of Ages
starting to worsen. This had led her to much alarm. The
seasons have been interrupted and the land cannot heal
themselves as they should. Cgadi was able to discern some
time ago that the cause of this disruption was the ones she calls
pitfiends. They have performed some sort of ritual to place
this festering sore of infection upon the face of the land.
Regardless of what dark magic have a stranglehold upon the neck
of Thar-Eris, Cgadi shall do all she can to see this plague healed
once and for all.
And wish such, the cycle of the seasons shall be restored to their natural
harmony.
Seek to delve deeper into the Coven
Added Sun Jun 24 05:27:01 2012 at level 51:
Cgadi has been recognized as seeking a place amongst the honored of the
Harvest Moon. To this end, she has decided to preach on the teachings
of the Lady Amaranthe even more. She also sees her place in the Outlanders
turning more motherly as she attempts to set a good example to the
young buds which the coming of spring has brought to the tree.
Cgadi has a goal of wishing to speak to the Ancient Mother face to face, and one day
perhaps prove herself of wearing the most honored mark of an ornate mandala.
The Mother's tasks.
Added Wed Jul 4 04:34:50 2012 at level 51:
For many years now, I have sought out
the Mother, to prove myself worthy
of joining the Coven of the Harvest Moon.
After many years, and much growth, the Mother
found me ready to begin the journey. She
explained how it is a bit more difficult
for one so skilled with magic to find their
place as a witch of the coven. Their is
knowledge that must be had which I still
lack. I feel this knowledge will bring to
me insight into Amaranthe
The tasks as they were laid before me are:
1> To seek out the Guardians of Balance and
speak of the veil and how magic is
weaved within the balance.
2> Learn the history of magic and how it
could potentially damage that with
Amaranthe holds closest to her heart.
3> Have a discourse with those who seek
to banish magic from these lands and
how they view responsible magic use.
I gladly accepted these tasks a began upon
them immediately.
The First Task
Added Wed Jul 4 05:01:26 2012 at level 51:
Perhaps the easiest of the tasks given to me. For I have always
given a measure of respect to all seekers for they follow their
heart and do what they feel is right, no matters who it may hurt
at that time. They are truly friends of all and none.
I contacted the Rhyme of Resistance, Iklahn and he came forth to
meet me and brough two mages of the isle with him. We discussed
many things, but the two most important topics were the veil and
the role magic plays in balance.
I discovered that a plane of magic coincides with our world.
I was told to think of it as a river that runs through our world
with the veil acting as the river banks on either side. If the river
stop flowing completely or if it were to overflow from it's banks
and spill out upon the land, the results would be catastrophic.
So although they fight to protect magic, at times they must stand
against it for a time as the balance sways. So the role of magic with in
the balance is critical for these guardians. And the veil in essence
is a boundary between our existence and the plane of magic.
The second task
Added Wed Jul 4 14:51:32 2012 at level 51:
I have searched far and wide for the history of magic.
My first stop led me to the lyceum at the Inn of the
Eternal Star. I stumbled upon an old scroll that spoke
of the First Age. It said in this work that the Forsaken One
one who would be known as the Violet Spider gave magic
to the world.
But.. that is merely the origin of magic. A history is much more
involved. And what did man do with this magic you may ask? They
started wars, seeking even more power. These words grew disgust
in my body. So I left, and ventured further, seeking more signs
of magic. It led me to the Tower of Trothon, where a once
mighty mage of the light became so obsessed with magic that he
gave up all he believed him and used a mighty spell to transform
himself into what he once fought against. All for power.
Many other stops were made, but most of them lead to the same
answer: The History of Magic is a bloody one.
The third and final task
Added Thu Jul 5 15:59:50 2012 at level 51:
I set out upon the third task, and spoke with both
Kelarin the Drillmaster and Salyeris the Commander.
I spoke to them in depth upon where their views of
magic were and the responsible use of such. Both agree
they do not feel any mortal can use such a power with
any degree of responsibility. They asked my view upon it,
I responded by telling them that I am no slave to my magic.
I do not depend upon my magic for everything I do in life.
The exact opposite, I do all on my own, but ask my powers
to aid me for the protection of myself, my home and for
those whom I care for. I spoke in length with each for
some time. In the end, I failed to change their views upon
magic, but at the same time I know that was not the goal of
this task.
Completion of the tasks..
Added Sat Aug 4 12:00:02 2012 at level 51:
Many seasons after I had finish the tasks set before me by the Mother
I was strolling upon a path.. and I heard it...
Faint... yet.. distinct..
*CAW*... *CA-CAW*
ahhh, for tis is... the call of the Raven... the guide.
I follow the Raven's screams.. and found myself standing before the
Lady Amaranthe in her most holiest of places.
Seems for many seasons she has awaited my roaming as much as I have awaited hers.
We spoke in depth for some time. She allowed my entrance into the Coven
as a Witch.. something that has not been heard of for many
moons. And with such, she continued my lessons in using my magic in a way....
a way that most would not do.
I was granted four small trinkets, that do not hold much power in of
themselves but hold massive power in what they represent.
A pewter water chalice, a quartz focusing crystal, and ceremonial athame, and a sacred torch.
These four items represent the four primary elements of the World:
Earth, Air, Fire, and Water.
I was taught to focus upon these items as I ask the elements for their aid.
Their role is to teach me to reach close and not far when calling for their aid.
A good example would be asking water for aid from the rain puddle at my feet, and
not asking aid from the Aryth Ocean when far away from it.
For most times, bringing elements to far from their home does more damage
then good.
I always keep this in my mind when wielding the powers I hold. I try my best to
make sure that what I love the most.. my home.. is first and fore most
in my thoughts.
