Description
Above you glides what is obviously an arial. though were she not in flight
and you met her face to face, her heritage might not have been so
obvious. Her features are quite soft; almost elf-like, and her feathers are
only prominant on her wide outstretched wings, and her upper legs.
To see feathers on her legs, you have to look past her enormous talons,
her other markedly avian trait.
She displays her gray speckled, off white feathers with pride, and wears
bright guards on her talons.

I was the in Arial city, the eldest child and only daughter among four
sons. My father was a devout worshiper of Shokai, and the feathers
on his chest formed a golden phoenix. From an early age, I was taught
to fight, but my father wanted sons to join him on is campaign against
the evils that surrounded our home. As soon as my first brother was
born, my father's attention focused on him. So devout was he, to the
cause of fighting evil, that he pressed my mother's body beyond its
limits producing fighters for the cause.
She died bringing my youngest brother into the world, but she was as
devoted to the cause as he was, and knew the risks of having so many
children.
I too understood the costs of such a noble quest, and that he and my
brothers risked a similar fate every time they set out to free slaves
in the mines, or to thin the harpy flocks.
However, what was needed of me changed with my mothers death. I now
had to tend to my wounded family members as she had done.
I also learned to hide them from those dark souls who wished to
finish them off, and when necessary defend them.
To these ends I learned to know the enemies of my family, and exploit
their weaknesses.
Most of all I learned that in order for someone to heal, I often had
to make sure they had time to do so.
