Description
You look through an ethereal form.
His broad head was surmounted by two heavy horns which had been scrimshawed
with runes and symbols of war. A thick mane of once dark and now silver-grey
red fur, covered his head and face, making it look like he had been spattered
in blood. Black, soulless eyes like the darkest chasm of the abyss, and
within them resides a cold look of untold cruelty. A large bovine snout
extends from his face showing evidence of scars amidst the silvering red fur.
The nose was black and moist, and an occasional snort while the ghost
breathes sends a fine ethereal mist into the air. Graying reddish fur
extended down his massive, muscular neck and across his hulking shoulders,
chest and torso, which is not that of a beast, but more in the way of the
giant race, with rippling muscle and thick arms revealed beneath his armor.
Fur could be seen beginning just above his waist, appearing to cover his
thighs, but the humanoid shape again reverts to beast below the knee. A
strange second articulation turns his leg into a fetlock, ending in broad
steel-shod hooves. In his gnarled fists hold massive chains and though life
wore him around the edges the aura of his old physical presence is palpable.

The Bull Bloodmane
Added Tue Dec 6 13:00:49 2005 at level 51:
Many who have spent no time in the presence of Bloodmane know little of him,
for he speaks little being frustrated and angered at how his words are
deformed by his bovine features. He has risen through the ranks of the Empire
by force of will, and moments of battle cunning. Having set his black eyes on
the throne he hungers for power, yet is wily enough to know when to wait and
when to move with strength. Already he has lost one bid, a game of politics
that did not go his way for he knew the Necromancer played games with the
Shadow Lord and War Master, the question was would the Shadow Lord also play
games. There were two ways to it, either the Necromancer would hold to his
bargain with Bloodmane or not. Either the Shadow Lord would back out on his
deal with the Dread Lord, or not. He calculated his risks, and rolled the
dice, and he was foiled to gain the throne, but ensured that the weakest of
the three be elected. In this he knew his chance would come again and
swiftly.
Lord Grurk was angered by his failure, but soon Bloodmane regained his
council seat, and now he stays close to the Emperor, doing just enough to
retain favor. Watching as he bids to become, knowing the Emperor will turn to
him to assist with the elixir. It is then The Bull will enact his plan, he
will gain the elixir ingredients and secretly have one forged. With this he
will secure the death of what he sees as a weak Emperor.
Yes little is known of Bloodmane for those who have not spent time in his presence.
But history is yet to be written, and deeds great or small have slipped from
the minds of many, but the history of the Bull will be written in blood.
the time is at Hand

The Emperor has met with the Elven Cleric, the wheels are in motion.
Bloodmane has kept the Emperor close to him, feigning loyalty and obedience.
The trust is there, he knows the Emperor will share the rituals requirements with him.
When he does the Bull will ensure that he gains at least one of the requirements.
Then his plan will commence.
Has time tricked him?

Blast! The emperor has not all his requirements!
There has been no time to find a skilled thief for forgery of the Spirit Breaker.
What now? To deny the sword would be to risk Anathema.
To give it risks the success of the Emperors becoming.
Yet something in Bloodmane tells him this is the path he need follow.
Has the Emperor rushed too hastily?
He has not the age and wisdom that will help ensure his success.
Again Bloodmane must roll the dice of fate, if the Emperor fails he will be
ready to seize the throne. If he succeeds the his ambitions are dashed and Warmaster he
will remain.
Curse the fates, curse the luck of the necromancer, let him shrivel and die.
