Description
A cloaked figure is here, over 6 feet tall, standing in the shadows wherever
there may be. As you are able to look at his figure, half-covered with
bandages which hide his left eye and his mouth shows little emotion or
information about what he thinks or who he really is. The cold blue eyes,
like the depths of the Aryth oceans, do look around from time to time. Few
strings of hair appear out of his armor and his clothings from time to time
which is of a light gray and appears quite short. The built of this young man
is quite thin but you recognize that he looks in good shape. Being covered
with mostly armor and his cloak, you arent able to gather more information
of him.
Role
The Maiden and the will to go on

Life goes on, continue. Ive been continuing this fight that has been going
on for so long. Day and night, I am on the battlefield, bloodied and bruised.
People arent much aware of what we do and how harsh this life is. I am not
regretting it though I know now that if you do not have someone or something
to hold on to, you can fall from that thin line that is the life of the
Maran. To me, of course I fight for the people without asking any praise.
Although, I also fight for someone, I fight for Lady Baerinika.
You may ask why though and I can answer easily. It all began that night when
I was on the battlefield and fought that foul giant beast, Igbah. It was a
good fight but I did not succeed. This is when though I became as a Maran and
she told me : Be strong, Maran. Those words, I carry them on for those I care
about because they were good to me. I felt that I was not alone for this
fight and there was compassion in her voice, motivation too.
Then we met and I have been amazed by her beauty. That day, I have become the
Captain of the Brigade. I did not expect that but we had a talk and I have
felt like I was needed. I am no man of words. I have always felt that they
would always be lost in the wind as I spoke then. I have trusted my abilities
though, as a fighter, and I would like by my actions, doing more than I can,
just to show what must be done. The others, they say I am doing a good work,
which makes me glad. And I also hope I can do more for my Lady.
This is why I have been looking for her. I want her guidance, I wish to
become her student. I need her to find a way and become a harder wall in the
Fortress. I wish to live on longer and stronger. This is why I have been in
the Misty Jungle and this is why I have met with Feilinal.
I also wish, before I die, to see another one of those tournaments like my
village had. One of all the rogues and warriors can participate. This could
be a perfect test of my training as it would rely mostly on the will to fight
and the pure strength of the combatant. Perhaps Kostyan would be there...as
Igbah. This could be interesting.
I grow older as time goes by...I may live to see my 50th birthday...perhaps
more. Though as I die, I hope that I may have done a difference in this
war...
Time goes fast (More alive than ever!)

Time goes fast. It has been almost 15 years that I, Daichyl, was in the
Academy, hoping to become strong, to be known as a Sensei of my profession. I
fought, I bled, I won and I lost. Time goes fast and I have still many years
before me to do more. I hope.
Now it has been around 3? Maybe 4 years since Ive been a Squire? Ive
learned a lot, Ive done what I could yet I felt that these years were a bit
more painful than it ever was. I have become more mature and realized that
life, without any cause to fight for, can be meaningless. I have chosen to
protect the Light and give it a better life by fighting day and night against
the wicked. I did realize that this task was meaner than it was. We have to
be ruthless, do not let the Light have a chance to survive. At first, I
thought it may have been something too hard to handle. Each time I have
doubts, I remember those horrible sights that I have seen and my faith grows
stronger. My will is strong and I still hope that my actions will be worth
something when I die.
I have questioned my fighting skills from time to time as I went on against
the Lich Lord, Satebos or either the War Master, Kostyan. I was merely an
object that I could be pushed around and I felt meaningless. Plus now, I have
learned that my sensei, Mryzzle, have perished as my Captain, Gramoak. I have
also seen Squires that act for their own good instead of the global good
which made me question my cause. But once I go to the battlefield, once I see
the reason I fight, it all goes away.
What I plan to do next? Of course, I vowed to train those of the Fortress. I
wish to give what Mryzzle gave me. Strength. I will also train harder as I
feel I can be better. Fight more wisely if possible. Although I am someone
emotional, I will fight if I am needed. I am still unsure if it is a quality?
I am 30 now. I have many years to give to the Light. May my blade strike
true. May the Light, when I die, be a safer haven to those young ones...
Night and day
Added Tue Feb 5 17:45:16 2008 at level 36:
It was a cold night.
There was a battle roaming in the ruins of Ostalagiah. An Imperial Ministrel
singing nightmares to those who call themselves Barbarians.
Daichyl was there, wielding a sword, hiding in the shadows for an
opportunity. He felt confident after all those years training.
He had fought skeletons, dark pawns, ugruks, evil avian creatures, dark-elves
students. He gained much strength through the battles and the constant
compliments from his travel mates. He thought that now, it was time. And so
did his guildmaster.
After many nights of intense training, he was taught the difficult yet
powerful ability to kill with a single blow. Such a technique is demanding
and dangerous either for the foe or the fighter. And so, he was thinking
This is it. Let us begin. I must fight like the Skyborn. I must give to the
Light what they have given me. I have the power...
And so, he went. He struck a dark barbarian known as Grrash but he saw him
coming through the chaos of the battle. This is where all went wrong. An elf,
strangled him with his whip, surrounded his limbs and made him unable to move
while the dark warrior finished him. Daichyl was confused
while the dark warrior finished him. Daichyl was confused... he didnt
understand how possible a High Elf could ever do such act towards him.
He talked, he tried to understand, and he couldnt. He just couldnt see that
this bond, a bond of barbarians, fighting for a cause, would do such an
unholy alliance. An elf would bathe in darkness for such a cause? Impossible!
This is where Daichyls sense of combat took over him. They fought with words
then fought with their weapons in the middle of the arena, with the amused
look of Grrash, screaming for blood. The young assassin tried to make the elf
see the bloodthirst of the dark barbarian yet it remained. He was closed to
everything. And so they fought and Daichyl won.
Quickly as he came out of the arena, he struck Grrash but to no avail.
Feeling sinful, he spoke to the Elder Prophet of his Sin and expressed
the sadness in his heart about a lost elf who he had to fight...but she was
able to comfort the young assassin with calm words and even plan to try and
talk the elf out of his dark thoughts.
Daichyls faith was shaken but he felt that there is something that must be
done. When an elf decides to follow and be friendly with a murderous and
selfish fiend of the night, there is a problem. He vowed an Oath to the Light
that from this day, he will do what he must to lighten this dark fog that
covers the lands of Thera. This is when he sought the Captain Gramoak...
The ambitions of Daichyl

Its tiiiiiiiiiiiiime for the finaaaaaaals ! To the right side, heres the
Shadow Master, Sensei Mukaan Tzeki !
To the left side, the Thunderous Assassin, Sensei Altan Miguai!
---
As the fight started, the crowd rose upon their seats and was amazed of the
strength of these two. An intense rumble that tore the earth asunder, where
they looked invincible and thought it would never end. A swift kick to the
left! A daft punch to the right! He swings a tiny spear his way and misses!
At front seat, young Daichyl looked at the battle with his tiny eyes,
dreaming that he would be on this stage, fighting before such a crowd,
hearing them call his name, bringing admiration among the people. This was
his dream. He trained to be an assassin for that sole reason, to be a master
of any physical encounter. He was a pupil under the Sensei Mukaan Tzeki and
that day, he cheered his victory.
The village of Kolbin was renowned for their fighters as they held every year
a tournament where every combatant would fight with either their fists or
weapons to see whos the strongest of all. They would be raised as fighters
only to enter the tournament later, an honorable existence some may say
though the youth have more ambitions, so did Daichyl.
Daichyl was raised with the stories of either the Skyborn or the elven
maiden, of the plague of darkness and felt that he could draw his sword for a
greater cause. Of course, the spirit of the combatant still lives strongly
within his mind and so he trains, all day, all night, just to be known as the
strongest. But very few knows that all this hides a fragile and insecure
young man who goes to the world, unprepared to what may happen, unprepared to
the menace that roams Thera...
