Description
Standing three foot, four inches tall with chestnut brown eyes and dark wavy
hair this gnome is taller than most gnomes. His clothes are rather simple,
yet they are well taken care of and seem to suit his tastes. His clothes
certainly look ready for travel as he adjusts the satchel at his side and
looks beyond where he is. He has a pudgy belly that jiggles a bit when he
laughs, which seems to happen often. The twinkle in his eye is caring, yet
seems to be sprinkled with a bit of mischief.
He has been marked with the tattoo of a gaping maw, a testament to his nature

Who is Dalbiddle Hodgenottin?

Dalbiddle Hodgenottin has always been outside of the normal for gnomes.
Dalbiddle was born to a small farming family outside of Hillcrest. He was
always close to the animals that his family kept on the farm, like the dairy
cow (which could supply all the milk his family and all the families in the
surrounding countryside needed for a week at one time). He would go out in
the fields and hide in the tall grass from the mountain lions that roamed the
hill and mountainsides.Although he was fearful of their grand size and
ferocity, they also intrigued him. They were consummate hunters, always
ready for adventure. He envied them, and so at a young age asked to leave
the farm and seek out the shapeshifter guild in Udgaard.
However, it was when he learned his first form while roaming the wildlands of
thera that he began to see the truth. His life would forever be changed when
Thar-Eris granted him his first form, that of the rabid ferret. His spirit
became kin to its and together they romped and played between the forest
guardians of the Forest of Nowhere. He loved it, but it wasnt long before
he came to understand what Tulpebb and his band were doing, and how animals
werent free to roam in the Galadonian settlement nearby. These things
angered him, and he began to turn his heart against his old ways.
In doing so, he swore off money and swore off going back to the guild.
Thar-eris would teach him everything he needed to know from then on. He
trusted in his heart that this would be so and scoured the land learning
places of food and water he could drink. It was not long after this that he
began to know more of Thar-Eris, as until this time he really didnt even
know her name, just knew that he loved her. He sought out information about
the "Outlanders of Thar-Eris" and started to learn their ways, and mimic
their actions.
After a bit he came to know his first hunting form, that of the Black Bear.
After his first taste of duergar flesh while defending the huntress, he knew
for certain, he was to be her hunter. Now his life is dedicated toward that
end, toward the hunt, and protection of his beloved Thar-Eris.
