Description

Damgril is a duergar of surprisingly large stature. Her skeletal structure is impressive for her race, as she stands at least 5' tall. Long black hair falls from under her battle helmet down and across her broad shoulders. She adorns a thick majestically black beard richly concealing most of her ugly face. Dressed in bloodied battle armor, her chest piece appears covered in the war-beads of her hair. Despite her manly size, she seems extremely agile in her armor, as she scans the area with her pale bloodshot eyes. Seemingly serious about her faith, she carries a hefty collection of relics and religious artifacts on and about her person. Upon looking closer, unrecognizable black symbols can be seen upon her ebony flesh covering all visible portions of her skin.

Damgril rests alone in the darkness.  Crouched forward, she is positioned
with her forehead against the damp stone wall.  The emptiness and solitude
echo through the vast cave, as she absorbs it into herself.  Calming her
breath, she prepares to use her faith and release her physical and emotional
pain into the hollow space around her.  She meditates deep into her soul and
time stands still.  Lapsing into her tainted thoughts, her mind develops into
some sort of phantasmal dungeon.  Still alone in this void, she feels
invincible and omnipotent.  Absent of direction, she passes fluidly through
the black.  She does not have a form in this place, for she is everything in
the nothingness surrounding.  Absorbing all, her being magnifies intensely as
she greedily devours the infinite.

Unbound with internal fury, her entranced physical form is unable to contain
the raw power inside.  Bursting from her still, she begins to thrash
uncontrollably in unimaginable agony.  Her body burns from within and her
flesh begins to secrete primordial ooze.  Inescapable, she struggles to
maintain control of her pain as it creeps over her skin.  Screaming
frantically, incredible and unrecognizable symbols form to cover her body. 
Attempting to ease her blistering transformation, she tears away her
clothing.  Lying naked on the cold stone surface, time begins to pass again. 
Cackling with profound relief, she rises from the ground.  Damgril uses her
fingers to trace and caress the runes covering her naked body.  Mindful of
her unique energy, she no longer wishes to release her pain.  Now she yearns
to consume all that exists for her own selfish power.
