Description
This is a shortish woman, standing just above five feet in height. Lithely
built, she has the build commonly found in the elves, gracefull and fair.
Definitely attractive, though not physically stunning as seen in some
firstborn she is still positively radiant by human standards. With
pale complexion of the elves, she is without blemish or scar.
Her hair, which is sandy blonde is worn long falls down her back in a
shimmering sheet, reaching to her waist and elaborately braided, also
decorated with what appear to be small ribbons of woven hair and fur.
Her face is highly elfin and sharp, her ears clearly pointed, her eyes
slightly slanted and deep, a deep green with an oddly glazed, aetherial
distance to them. Clothed simply, if somewhat oddly, she wears beneath
the garb of an adventurer a simple tunic, made of what appears to be
woven grass and leaves.

This is the missive, Danrae passed to the Huntress.
As requested (for those who read) I pen this missive of introduction, that you may be
aware of my petitioning and seeking for Thar-Eris. I am, firstly, Danrae, priestess of the
Archon, and healer of the White. My lifes calling is as a protectress of the white, of
the free and wild. Know me, and call when needing.

A nature spirit herself, it was only natural that Danrae would seek to further her
purpose among the folk of the refuge. Met however, with indifference at best and dismissed
seek the ancients directly, the young girl was amused, rather then discouraged. The idea
approaching another elder spirit, that is the ancients, was not the least bit daunting to a
priestess raised by the fae. Amused as well, knowing that in time to come, once her ability
became clear, at the change in attitude she would earn. Pleased, the girl set out to find
the ancients. Things were getting interesting...and this would make a fine tale to tell the
Archon.

In an infinite magical universe, anything is not only possible, but must exist, in all
of their myriad possible forms...
In a place of deep and ancient magic are the fae. Here the animals speak and the
trees hold deep and ancient wisdom. Here the faerie dragons and cooshee frolic, and dryads
rule with compassion under an ancient powerfull force simply called the white.
Here there is no suffering, and no sorrow, here death is just a transition to a new
and higher spiritual form. Here everything is really a spirit, embraced by the white,
and blissfull.
Sounds rather nice, yes?
This is where Danrae is from, in every sense but one.
Danrae was born in Daryslon, a simple wilder elf. When Danrae was the elvish equivalent
of fourteen, her family decided to visit kin in Evermoon. On the way, the travelling
party was butchered, and Danrae captured by orcs. While the girl managed to escape, what
happened in her time of captivity splintered her mind. She did manage, however to escape
from this. Danrae constructed her reality, and now who she is. Definitely more then a
little insane, she is convinced her belief is true. Not even a god, or elder spirit
could persuade her otherwise at this point, it has become so deeply embedded in her
psyche. Reality is afterall, for everyone different, and ultimately what
they believe it. Danrae is of the Fae, raised in the white.

Danrae decision in approaching a patron power was not a difficult one. As a spirit of
protection herself, it is only natural she would seek an elder spirit. Danrae views
Corrlaan, indeed all the immortals simply as other spirits, definitely stronger spirits,
spirits all the same. While smacking of hubris (and more then a little insane), she sees
herself as simply a weaker member of this spiritual family, she is after all a nature spirit
herself. This does not mean she approaches without humility or piety. She is infact capable
of an adoration and piety beyond most simply because she isn't entirely sane. She has every
intention of serving her elder spirit (she would never say, although she would think elder
cousin) with all her power, afterall, don't they share the same tasks in the light?

Danrae was born fae, raised by Dryads, pixie's and other such beings, she lives in a
different world to most people, even other firstborn. She is as much an elemental creature
as the woodland spirits she was entrusted to as a baby. She has little to no concept of
the rules wich govern others lives, for her there is only the desire and the action. This
does not mean she is an amoral person however, she is fiercely light aligned, adhering to
to a path of light as ancient as the spirits.
Danrae lives in a world where nature spirits are as common as people, where animals are
oft a companion and confidant as another would turn to a sibling. She would take no more
surprise at an archon or hell hound then another would a beggar in the street.
Danrae was trained into an ancient path of the white magic, purely elemental and tapping
what others would call the realms of a white witch. She revels in her ability to heal,
her patient is again as likely to be a beast as a wounded person. The faith of the dryads
is however while strong and ancient, rather primitive. Danrae realised early in her studies
that to accomplish anything, she would need seek a stronger source. Her first 'normal'
instructor in the divine came from a member of the coven, not surprisingly, one of the
witch women often drawn to such deeply strong natural sites as her home.
The witch, who instructed Danrae in the faiths of light and nature as a bargaining chip
to study the girls dryad carers was a good if crotchety teacher.
Danrae is above all else a fierce protectress of the natural, especially its lightwalker
animals and spirits. She considers these creatures and beings her family, and as an
extension, is also a protectress of their homes, the forests and springs. She believes
herself, to actually be a protective spirit, with more in common to a dryad or slyph then
an elf or man.
