Description
You notice a handsome young man. Shoulder length, golden blonde
hair majestically hangs from his head, very clean and well kept he
obviously takes pride in his appearance. This warming gentelment
is perhaps about five foot, ten inches tall. Maybe weighing around
a hundred fifty pounds or so, you can tell he is not very strong
or much of a brute by any means. He kindly keeps a vigilant eye
to his surroundings, and is very lean in appearance. Blue-green eyes
and a light olive complexion, this young man is obviously a Galadon
native. You look just a bit closer and notice that

. A dark rainy night among the rough, crime-laden city street of
. the River Road in Galadon, Delen makes his way home from his
. day labor at the southern docks. Through the merciless beat
. of the winter rains, pouring over the city like a cloak of
. darkness, Delen suddenly heard cries for help from behind
. the dusty warehouses. Frightened, as he was only a boy atn
. the time, and knowing well the dangerous rogues that lurked
. those alleys, he picked up the pace trying to make it home.
. Again, panicked and frightened screams banshee'd from the
. dark alleys, and through the pouring rain and muffled sounds
. all around him, he could almost make out a small group of bandits
. that were seemingly ganging up against someone backed into
. a corner. The victim, from what Delen could see, was quite
. broken, beatin harshly yet still trying to fight back the
. onslaught of muggers that were assailing him.

. Delen was no brute force, a very scrawny child his whole life,
. there was no commanding force about him, but he couldn't just
. stand there and do nothing. He called out Hey! Stop that!
. The muggers barely took notice to the screech of this boy
. as he did all he could to draw their attention from a distance.
. Then, as if an inner force came alive inside of him, Delen grabbed
. a large stone and chucked it hard as he could, nailing one of the
. assailants hard in the back of the head. The dark-elf instantly
. fell to the ground, motionless. Gasp! He coudn't believe what
. he had just done, and panic began to set in as the other two
. duergar, now allotting their full attention towards him, quickly
. rushed at him...

. Delen, are you alright? Delens mother woke him. Several days after
. the incident, Delen came out of his coma. Having no idea what happened
. after he threw that rock, or how badly he was apparently injured, she
. told him that he was found, also another Galadonian citizen
. (the man whom he apparently saved) unconcious the following morning of that
. rainy night, beatin and left for did. You did a courageous thing
. Delen, and you nearly died for it. I don't know if it was really worth
. it, but you saved that poor mans life by interfering. Who knows
. what they would have done with him if you hand't of stopped them.
. That was a selfless act, and something you should be proud of
. for the rest of your life.

. Several years past now, Delen has begun to make name for himself
. amongst his guild, and certainly amongst the evil vermin of Thera
. whom have painfully come to know his name. Since his glorious
. day of finding his blessings of Baerinika, Delen has truly coddled
. his inner fires of courage and desires to combat all evil. Becoming
. a true man among his people, and in what he tries, to become a true
. savior of the innocent, he has certainly found his calling. Ever
. since that day in his youth, whence he saved the woman in the thug
. streets of Galadons back alleys, Delen has known then, and now, his
. purpose in Thera to protect those weaker than him, and to seek out
. evil of all forms in all their hiding places, and rid the lands of
. their tortures among the innocent. Because of this, Delen has sent
. word of his life and his desires to a group of noble men and women
. known as the Maran. It is Delen's goal to walk among them, finding
. fellowship to keep hot the coal that burns in him, and together, he
. believes great works of the Light, can, and will be done.

. Also, Delen seeks to strengthen his faith with Holy Baerinika, and
. find one his elder to continue and further his teachings in the faith
. so that he may become a teacher himself one day, priesting the
. relationship between he and the Jaguar, this is Delens goal. As a
. protector of innocent, and bane of all evil, to teach and nurture all
. those who would be of such path, for the greater good, and the greater
. glory in hopes of finding peace among the lands.

. After several long talks with other Paladins, Tribunal, and friends
. of Delen, he never has and for his own belief of good reason, will
. travel or strengthen Tribunal. Bearing no ill-will or discontent towards
. them or what they neccessarily do in whole, however he cannot justify
. traveling with them because the Anti-Paladin guilds within the
. protected cities are allowed to stand and be protected under the Law.
. He has gone to great lengths discussing this subject with many
. of his friends and other Tribunal, and until there is change amongst
. they're blind protections to evil, he will vow to never grow any
. of them in power, and regard them only as friends.
