Description
The dark-elf before you is the color of pure ebony. Looking at
his eyes you see them glow red. He has well groomed eyebrows and short
cropped hair. His black hair covers the sides of his cheeks and ears.
His lips are crimson in color and it appears he has a smirk across his face.
Light looking armor is seen underneath his black robe and cloak. You also
notice various weapons of pain. His frame is very thin and he appears sickly
A strong odor of rotting flesh and herbs seem to surround this sickly man.
A final glance and you notice a pentagram branded on his hand and an inverted
cross around his neck.

Raised to be a paladin, he began to see through the lies of the guild and his family. He was found and taken to a paladin's guild in hopes he would become trained and become redeemed to the light.
He did not know he was different, he had questions which being able to spot lies discovered he had been lied to by everyone he knew. He was told that the paladins code was the only truth.
When he questioned why, he was told that is how it is. That only fueled him to learn more about why he had been lied to and the guild sought to spread more lies to the world. It did not sit right with him at all.
One night he crept in to the master of the guild's room and stabbed a knife through his heart. As the paladin opened his eyes his mouth was covered by an ebony hand. Shhhhhh, your lies won't spread any longer. That is the truth.
Quietly he went back to his room and fell asleep, when he opened his eyes he found himself surrounded by a group of Maran.
The Maran placed him under arrest and asked why he did it. The paladin spread lies to the world and to me, all of us have been lied to. The gods of light are a lie and they seek to control us all.
The gods of light want us as puppets, they want us because they are no longer mortal or have never been. They are jealous of us and we should be free to do what we want.
We are no better than a slave if we live our life this way, we must stop them. That is enslavement to the entire world.
Shaking their heads they began to walk away with the young drow. After a days travel they arrived in a dark looking woods north of Hamsah.
You have been sentenced to death for your crimes and beliefs, but we will not carry it out, the forest will. This forest is as dark as your heart and soul.
May the lords of light have mercy on you, for this forest will not. pointing towards a river he was made to walk towards it. a yell was heard and as he turned around an object was tossed to his hands.
The marans are gone, and a strange object is in your hands now.
You look around and see a skeletal boatman, and a river of spirits and souls.
Your heart begins to beat. beat. beat.. .. .. .. . . . . . . ..........

You give the object to the boatman and he motions to board the boat.
You sit quietly in the center of the boat as he paddles you across the river to the other side.
You hear screams of agony and pain. Dark whispers next to your ears. in your ears. in your head.
As you walk forward spirts and demons emerge near you. They grin and tell you that you don't belong here yet.
Your heart beats faster and you feel something...Fear
you continue forward and enter through a gate.
A dark shadowy figure reveals itself to you.
It is not your time yet, young drow. You have seen what lies have been spread, you must become my weapon.
A weapon of truth. To those who will not hear the truth, you must send them to me. I will grant you power inexchange.

You nod very slowly while looking around.
Then it is done.
You begin to shake as a dark power enters your soul. You feel ..stronger..
Go forth and spread the truth. I will be watching.. If you fail.....
Visions of the lowest level of hell are seen within your mind. Searing pain and agony.

Believes he is truly helping the world of Thera, he sees men and women as having a leash or worse, shackles on themselves.
He sees men and women mostly if they are drunk, drugged and blind, the people who have shackled themselves to others ideals. he sees the people who embrace the slavery on themselves as a disease which spreads quickly.
He likes to act innocent and child-like at times so the partially blind trust him enough to reveal who they are. So many think he can be tricked and mislead easily.
He loves limerick's.
He will not attack or betray those he feels have hope to unchain themselves or remove their leash.
He "forgets" people he has killed or betrayed to see if they did learn and want to live a life of their own will, not others.
Likes to eat berry pies, jerky and leg of lamb most.
He uses the word "friend" to mean blind or partially blind.
He really likes Jakhu, he has begun to call him "cousin".
Seeks to learn enough to spread the Truth of the Temple to the four corners of the world.
Knows he is very fragile physically, it bothers him but he accepts it until he can change it.
He loves to say Born in sin, come on in. Born in lust, turn to dust. I can't believe my ears, someone shut this fella up i'm drowning in my tears.
It has different meanings to him at different times and people he says it to. You will eventually die and to embrace what you seek to become. A greeting. A saying to those he believes can be free or are free. A way to say he has no emotion for
anothers suffering, death or bad fortune. A way to say that all of us are the same, some just chose to embrace it and be what they want to be.
He sees each man and woman as their own sculptor, he believes each of us have the ability to shape ourselves to what we like and discard the scraps.
Has found his word's are a powerful tool and weapon when needed.
