Description
This dwarf has a rather light complexion that is made all the more pale when
contrasted with his bristly black beard. He has it tied in the forked-style
favored by many of his kin. His eyes are like two lumps of smoldering coal
that blaze when angered. The mouth is set in a near-permanent scowl. He
stands just shy of four feet in height and is of an average build - not
overly fat, but not a skinny pole either. Bright red undergarments poke
through the gaps of the bits of armor he has accumulated. A crude outline of
a white bear is smeared on his body armor.

Origins

Background:
* Father a Paladin follower of Ordasen.
* Growing up, he admired his father greatly.
* Loved the respect his father got for all of his goodly deeds.
* Disagreed on some issues with his father, especially about the law-abiding
tenets of the Code.
* Felt that a priest of Ordasen should not be kept in check by a written
document.
* Enrolled in the Paladin guild anyway, out of respect for his father
* Soon became apparent that it was not going to work out.
* Same disagreements with teachers as with father.
* Left guild of own volition.
* Teachers were both happy and sad to see him go. Excited about his fervor,
but sad they could not control it.
* Promptly joined the Shaman's guild to show his devotion to Ordasen in his
own way.
Mannerisms:
* Tolerates neutrals but not very well. In his mind, Thera is black or
white. All conscious beings make a decision. Either for the light, or
against it.
* People of the light who will not fight or are always "needy" are tolerated.
helps those who help themselves.
* Does not get along well with Paladins. He respects them professionally,
but sees them as soldiers restrained by a piece of paper.
Goals:
* To be in constant communion with Ordasen is his primary goal. He shows,
rather than preaches his faith to others through the blade of his axe and the
offensive power Ordasen grants him.
* Undecided about joining the Fortress. While a bastion for the light, he
feels that any sort of restraint will hinder his mission.
* There are no other cabals that would interest him, as many who admit those
of the light also admit those of the dark.
Evolving Zealot

Battles so far:
He has been victorious in many engagements, with close to a dozen resulting
in a body at his feet.
* Has used the paladin guild for learning purposes, but his prior beliefs
have been reinforced by an episode outside the orc village. Djohmi and a
paladin went to fight an army of three orcs that were laying waste to the
dwarven village. One was slain, but the paladin fell behind on cramping legs
when the orcs came to fight. Djohmi was mentally drained, but could have
escaped were it not for the paladin blundering around the mountain. He
stayed to protect his comrade and was slain. Hardly a glorious defeat.
* The wood elf druid who is stylized as the "breaker of the grinning skulls"
has given him no small amount of frustration. Djohmi has tried various
tactics, but has not been able to defeat her in combat.
* Djohmi defeated an arial warrior atop the galadon battlements and was
rewarded by his Lord with a necklace of fingerbones ripped from the corpse of
his enemy. He wore the ornament proudly until it was taken from his own
body, many kills later. In a show of gratitude for the blessing of the Bear,
Djohmi sacrificed the great sword Armageddon to his Lord, gotten from the
still warm hand of a dead fire giant warrior.
There are still many victories to be won.
Goals:
* Almost certain not to join the Fortress. Some of their number asked for
"help" in slaying a single foe. Weak.
