Description

Donned in armorment befitting any heavily suited knight, this dwarf is before you in a shining splendor that only the holy of faith can accomplish. Clean, polished armorment reflects the light from around him, giving his body a luminescent quality not unlike the radiance of the light itself. Visibly seen is his face unprotected through an open-visored helm. It is clean, but juttin out from beneath his nose is a beard so thick it looks never to have even trimmed. The beard literally reaches in thickness from one side of his chest to the other, and thins out slowly until it reaches the length of his groin. This dwarf stands only three feet nine inches tall, so the bright blue eyes of his look more upward and do the sides, than looking down to where he is stepping. Perhaps because looking down may be an embarrassment or something to that affect, as one foot is twice the size of the other. While his boots are taken care of and even match very well, one foot looks normal for his body, but the other looks like it has been flattened to the sides, and severely elongenated, to the point that this shoe had to be specially made to fit. It gives this dwarves' stride a comedic side to side gait much like a penguin.

Role

Courage of the Ale.

Added Tue Dec 8 18:43:23 2015 at level 23:
Inside the grog and grub tavern, Domond sips ale with an old dwarf and random other
citizens of akan, speaking of the days work in the forges, mines, and the duties of the
guards. A few tease him of being moody and silent, but nothing ever stops the light
hearted drinking in a dwarven bar. After a while, with Domond being heavily drunk, the
old dunk dwarf sits next to him on a stool, and tells him 'Out with it lad, yer even
depressin me here, so jus say whats on yer mind'".
Domond slams the empty tankard of stout onto the counter, and a random drunk dwarf
behind him shouts a warcry, "Death to the tankard! Kill the ale!" and the room suddenly
fills with laughter, only Domond seems unnafected.
"Ah bein pissed 'ere." He says to the old, drunk dwarf. "Look at us 'ere lad. One shift of
maneh workin an guardin. All of us sittin' ere gettin drunk off our arses. Look at what jus
tore through mortorn like da plague lad! A mummy and a lich! An look at em more der,
runnin rampant even through da hells! We sittin 'ere celebratin da life wes gots, but der
ain much of life bein left wit dat empire horde. Dems pissin meh off. Da light shudderin
wit da few champions like our Gulrom der, but da darkess winnin, and invadin our home.
Ah bein pissed. Ah wanna take mah big right foot an shove it up da empires flamin arses!"
And with that, Domond grumpily orders himself another mug of stout. The old drunk dwarf
looks at his own empty mug and orders another, but says to Domond, "Lad. Yer can either
depress da shite out of us, or leave an come back another day, or yer can pick up a sword
an go fight. Da first aint gonna keep happenin, so pick one of da other two. Things bein bad
enough 'ere without worryin about da rest of da world. Mah advice, is ta go home, an sleep
fer a bit. Spend time wit yer famileh, an come back tomorrow feelin better fer yerself."
Domond remained sitting, staring at his now full mug of stout. With all the courage the
ale offered him, he said, "No lad. No. Ah ain't remainin here. Da darkness from inside we
fightin, an da darkness outside is commin in. Da world needs more, da world needs strength
ta stand and fight. Dems need da good strong dwarves ta kick da dead ones back inta da
ground an make da outside world better. Den wes can all come 'ere, get drunk, an kick da
demons panseh arse back ta da underworld where it belongs. Ah leavin. Ah wont be
returnin."
He stands up and walks out to leave. A dwarf entering looks at the intensity within
Domonds' eyes and lets him by without a word. Then sitting at the bar, the dwarf says,
"Well fark lad. Ah will take whatever yer didn't give dat guy hah!". Chuckling to himself,
the barkeep hands him a full mug of recently filled stout, and in akan all continues as if
nothing had ever happened.

Mason of war.

Added Tue Dec 8 18:47:19 2015 at level 23:
Inside the armory, two strong young dwarves trade jokes amongst themselves, share
ale and polish the armors and weapons. In comes a muscled dwarf, but one
with a size more suited to his trade, than something combat had given him. His name
the buildings and walls for ages. Well known for their building, but not nearly respected
for their capacity of doing anything else but drinking.
The more sober of the pair comes up to Domond and asks, "What can ah do fer yer
tonight Sir?". Domond looks at him with an intense look in his eyes, and says, "Arm me,
ah go ta war."
The second dwarf, on hearing this breaks into a fit of laughter. "What yer gonna do lad!
Yer gonna build a wall aroun an armeh? Yer gonna throw rocks at da enemeh! Hah!"
and his laughter continues. Domond did not laugh, did not flinch from the words, nor
did he feel anything other than the intensity of his purpose. Domond looked at the
laughing dwarf until the laughing subsided, and he realized his amusements were
completely lost on the situation.
"Lad," the first dwarf says, "Yer aint da fighter. Yer a mason. Ah bet yer done never used
a sword in yer life lad, what yer gonna fight?"
"No, ah never used a sword. Ah never wore but pieces of armors at times der. But ah
leavin home. Ah leavin akan. Ah joinin da war against da undead, and da dark forces
dats invadin our homes an lives from da outside world. Ah gonna bring da empire down,
da scarab temple ta dust, an ah gonna make da outside world a good place again. Den
ah commin back 'ere, an shove meh oversized boot up da arse of da demon, an win dis
'ere war in Mortorn."
The second dwarf once more breaks into a helpless fit of laughter, as the mason declares
the objectives of the war he says he will fight. The first dwarf however, sees the intensity
in Domonds' eyes, and knows that look, he has seen it before in the berserkers.
"Darthas. Bring da dwarf some armors. Hes ain da mason no more".
The second dwarf, still laughing and trying to contain his mirth, comes out with a shiny
breastplate, greaves, and an outfit befitting a warrior of the front lines, bulky and heavy.
For weaponry he is given a massive kite shield, and a large sword that feels more than
slightly awkward in his hands. Nodding to the second dwarf, he leaves the armory,
oblivious that his sword belt is fastened wrong. He has one more stop to make before
leaving home. Behind him within the armory, once more hysterical laughter can be heard.
The laughter does not bother Domond.

Mamma

Added Tue Dec 8 21:02:16 2015 at level 23:
A female dwarf in her middle years, but one well kept, with a full clean beard and a
good strong body befitting any healthy man, Izidra, mother of Domond looks at her
son with a sinking feeling in the pit of her stomach. He walks in the doors dressed
as a soldier for war, except for his sword belt, with a look in his eyes that says his
decision is already final. She knows her son will be leaving him and her life, but
takes the situation lightly, she does not wish it.
"Well mah son, did yer get a woman pregnant, an now have ta protect yer sorry
arse?"
"No mamma. Ah am leavin yer. Ah am goin ta war. Ah came home ta tell yer ah loved
yer, an ta askin yer ta tellin meh brothers an sisters ah love em too."
Her son was always blunt. Wonderfully, and annoyingly blunt and to the point. But
she could see his eyes, and knew he was touched with the rage of a zealot. There
was no going back for him, and no keeping him for her. Turning around, and facing
her back to him so he could not see her cry, she says, "There be only two ways
yer can come back home then son. Come back a victor, or come back on yer
shield. That be the only way yer can come back 'ere." Among her family and her
line, there were no half measures, and nothing left undone. Failure was not a
thing her family had ever allowed. Wall builders could not fail.
As gently as he could while fully armored, Domond wraps his arms around his
mother and hugs her against him, breathing in one last time the sweaty scent
of her long, full hair. "Mamma," he says in complete seriousness, "Ah will come
home a victor. Leave a chair fer meh, ah will fill it again one day."
Out of his home, and the life he knew he walks. Dedicated to a singular purpose
and driven beyond thought to the need to fullfill this task, for the world, his home,
he sets food towards the academy, in hopes to figure out how to use the sword
and shield, that for now serves as only deadweight on him.

Academics 101

Added Thu Dec 10 14:50:03 2015 at level 25:
Inside the academy there was no hesitation, no real decision for
himself. The righteous fury of the light was within him, and he
already knew he would stand as a paladin against the darkness,
and champion the light in its cause. He strode up to the paladin
guildmaster and stood before the fabled knight, looking up at him
to meet his eyes, the intensity blazing in both of them. A strange
sense of well being flooded into Domond, meeting one that felt
so strongly about the war as he did, that he could feel it eminating
from the guildmaster like a physical force.
"Ah would join yer guild, an fight ta gettin rid of da darklins"
"Many dwarves have been a part of this war. We have fought
together, bled together, and died together. We have also lived
together, loved together, and drank together. This war is not
for the feint of heart, it is not for the weak, and it is not for the
wicked and unjust. If you join this war, you may die violently
and be sucked by the darkness into the hells where you will
be molested, castrated, and tortured for the rest of time
because of what yer are. Are you certain you wish to take up
this mantle?"
"Well dats some cheery thoughts der lad. But dems will try
anyway der. Ah seen da darklins in mah home. Ah seen em
in da mortorn rampagin demselves on meh kin. Da wars ain
avoidin meh. Ah picked up da sword an da shield ta kick dems
flamin arses an ah meant it. Ah bein sure.ah willin, an wantin
ta pick up da mantle of da Paladin."
Laying his hand on Domonds head, the guildmaster welcomes
the young dwarf into the guild. Then asks the dwarf to show his
stances and ability with his weapons. As Domond explains his
life as a mason, and his never using armors and any weapon,
the guildmaster looks off into the distance and seems to
completely lose all attention in the dwarf, then begins to teach
him the basics of weaponry, use of the shield and combat. Now,
the time truly begins for Domond. Now, he truly has a means to
fight.
Domond has officially joined the war.

Surprises.

Added Fri Dec 11 04:58:18 2015 at level 26:
The guildmaster of galadon calmly, yet boringly, watches over Domond
as he executes his fighting form, and attempts to brace himself with his
shield in practice. By this time, Domond has already fought the likes of
Cinlos about thirty times, with no deaths. Tiiga quite a few with only
himself dying annoyingly enough, and fought many others, all with them
escaping, but through it all he still stands strong, and still fights. After
nearly impaling himself in the throat with his shield, the Guildmaster
decides to speak.
"Who is your God, Domond?"
"Ah don't have any a dems der Guildmaster. Honestly der, ah ain knowin
all dat much of da gods. Us masons always had da Nordiach der, and
since da walls still standin, wes knowin hims still sleepin."
The guildmaster looks distant, and to himself is quite surprised at the
nievety of this dwarf. "Every paladin, and certainly priest, of this land
stands strong, because they have the gods behind them. They stand
first and foremost as dedicated priests of their gods, fighting as one
of their chosen in their wars, in our wars."
"All of da gods der?"
"Yes, all of them are as this, all priests and gods."
"Well fark der guildmaster, if ah gots ta bein wit all da gods, dat meanin
ah gots ta bein faithful ta da Scarabaeus an Emnon too der, an ah ain
gonna doin dat!"
Once more the guildmaster looks distant, but then calmly explains that each
priest only has one god he prays to, and speaks of the role a priest has
with his or her diety, as well speaks of faith and prayer to the young dwarf.
Finally, and understanding, Domond asks the guildmaster, "Who be bein
da most mean, da most ferocious champion God da light has der?"
The guildmaster smiled, and said the Goddess, was the Jaguar herself,
the lady Baerinika.
"Den mah lot bein wit her. Der ain no mercy in war, an der ain no peace in
war unless yer makin it. Der bein one way ta end this, an dat bein by buryin
all da darklins. Or buryin again like da mummy der."
The guildmaster nods at Domond in approval at his dedication and tenacity.
Not so much his intelligence.

Storming Priest

Added Sun Dec 13 10:40:03 2015 at level 28:
I recently became blessed with meeting another follower of the Lady
Baerinika, one named Selionar. It may have happened at a bad time,
as I needed sleep. I had been awake long, and had fought hard. I was
exhausted, but I pushed on through it all, just to learn from him of the
ways of the Goddess. He tought me much more, even a bit of himself
and things expected of him, his rules, and a blessing that can never be
truly repaid, he had saved my spirit, my soul from the darkness itself.
We were within the guild of Galadon itself, the city he had been watching
over at the time. I had been standing, and he kneeling, but I still had to
look up at him to see his face with my bloodshot eyes. I may have
been too exhausted to remember all he said, I remember his
greatest teachings, the better explanations he had given of the
teachings of Tolgrumm, and what he did for me.
I once believed, that to be looked upon favorably by the great
Lady, that at all places the darkness should be banished. To this
end I did indeed strike at wicked people within the protected
cities my friend Selionar did watch over, and other magistrates
as well. Aye, I had been careful not to do so in front of the law
protecting citizens, as I had no want nor desire any risk to harm
the guards of good and noble virtues. I had not realized that
was only an excuse. I do not see all magistrates, and even the
provost himself can hide from my eyes should he choose to do
so. The truth of what I had been doing, was gambling my very
soul, that I might not be harming the good soldiers, in order to
strike down one wicked.
As his grizzled features looked down into my bloodshot eyes, his
gentle words struck me harder than his dragon slayer ever could.
He saved my spirit, my soul from the actions I had been committing
myself to. He made me a better man for the light, for myself, and for
the Lady Goddess above. I will never gamble my soul again.

Sacred Vows (part two of storming priest)

Added Sun Dec 13 13:55:21 2015 at level 28:
Within the Paladins guild of Galadon, a storm giant Selionar sits
on one knee, with his polearm draped over his other, and rests
his arms on the balanced shaft. In front of him and still far below,
the exhausted Domond stands looking up at him with bloodshot
eyes. Selionar continues speaking to Domond now of himself, and
the laws he lives by. There are three laws, and through them, all
embody the teachings of Tolgrumm, and the teachings of the Lady
Goddess herself. Speaking to Selionar, Domond gains an
understanding of the paladin before him, and truly sees him as a
man of his beliefs, and who he is.
Exhausted, Domond can no longer stay awake and sleeps. In his
dreams he hears the words of Selionar, he sees the book of
teachings once more of Tolgrumm. As he walks in his dreams
he hears them constantly.
Looming before him now is the Lich Gaspare. By his side is a
creature wrapped in bandages that could only be the mummy.
So too is Soelela and a massive army of undead. Behind him
stands souls of the light, all looking at him with hope and fear.
An understanding dawns on Domond. Vallinane was wrong.
Raising his sword in front of him, and bracing his shield for
impact, Domond charges forward towards the mass of
wickedness, and shouts at them in a triumphant cry his first
oath as a Paladin of Baerinika, "Ah will stand!"

As he meets the darkness head on, the dream within his head
shatters, and now he stands within the Inn of the Eternal Star.
Standing on top of the bars' counter is a very small little man, a
gnome by the looks of him. Whildur I have encountered him
before. He speaks merrily to a large, muscular bouncer and a
dwarven patron. A shock enters Domond as he sees a red aura
about the dwarf. Even more the shock, that as Domond
approaches the wicked dwarf, he notices that the armors it
wears is the same as his. As well as the shield, though the sword
seems gone.
"Lad," Domond puts a hand on the dwarves shoulder, hoping to gain
its attention, "Ah would like ta speak ta yer."
The dwarf turns its head, and Domond has comfirmed the truth of
what had shocked him before. Domond was now standing face to
face with himself, only a wicked version of himself. As he looks into
the eyes of his wicked counterpart, he sees visions of all that had
transpired to lead him to this moment in his life. Visions of him
having been made a criminal, and struggling not to harm those of
the light. He sees himself backing down from the greatest enemies,
letting them run rampant, letting the good folk of the light see him as
one that will not defend them. He sees himself sitting her drunk, while
the darkness overruns the world. He sees himself become twisted,
lazy, filled with sloth.
Breaking his gaze away, he looks at his wicked self once more, but
takes his sword from its sheath, and utters his second oath, "Ah
will keep mahself sharp!".
A thrust through the stomach of the darkness that could have been

The etherial figure of life.

Added Fri Dec 18 17:19:40 2015 at level 51:
The mists swirl with movements from creatures unseen in the surrounding trees. Animals can be heard in the surrounding
swamp, as well much closer deep, gutteral growls can be heard. On the silent footsteps of a predatorial stalker, a jaguar
suddenly is seen before Domond from out of the mists, looking deep into the soul of the dwarf, before once more fading into
the surrounding wood. Domond is not uncomfortable with his surroundings, he has been here and met the jaguars before that
dwell within the home of the Spearmaiden, but it her light blazing like that of a golden sun south of himself, that has his eyes
today.
"Mah ladeh Goddess, may ah enter?"
"Enter, Domond."
Domond had never before been within the presence of any God or Goddess. There was no way to describe how, that the seeing
of the light, the feeling of it, and being part of it all at once, could be felt on every level of the senses. But if he had to
describe it afterwards, he would say that it is much like the feeling you have from friendship and companionship with others, but
all at once, focused into a single point, and that point was life, and all of that flowed through and out of the Goddess
Baerinika's golden essence.

Have been struck dumb for a moment within her presence, all Domond could manage to say before the spear-wielding
Goddess was, "Dear goddess, yer sure do be bein a sight fer sore eyes!". Perhaps the Goddess could feel how much
she had intimidated the dwarf. For himself, she was everything that felt good and noble in this world, and he himself had
before not been the best man he could have been. He felt the judgement of life upon him, and even though he still stood
with life and friendship in love and dedication and devotion, he knew he had once risked his soul to the darkness he swore
to fight against, and that weighed heavily on him.
But the Goddess did not smite him, and after a time, her calm demeanor affected him. The giant footed dwarf was able
to speak, and in not long in front of her presence, was able to speak openly of everything, while even feeling that there, in
that place, she was a part of him, and he a part of her in a bond like friendship, a shared life and knowledge of the
existance of Domond.

The Goddess Baerinika had seen much in the dwarf it seemed, and the struggles he has had, and endured. Domond went
into the details of his time with Selionar, another of her own followers, that had saved his life. The knowledge he had gained,
and wisdom offered by Selionar made the dwarf a much, much better person.
The Goddess saw Domond fit to bear her blessings in combat, and further, tought him to share the light of life with the
darkest of souls, to purify them with wrath and fire.

A bonded existance, new beginnings.

Added Fri Dec 18 18:30:00 2015 at level 51:
This manner of existance, a true bond with the light and life of another, was something Domond had never experienced. Not
even the love of a woman could compare to the bonding in this manner, this level of trust and faith. It has come to a point that
just as with a child to a mother, fearing to dissapoint the mother, so too now Domond has a fear of dissapointing his Goddess,
and he does not.. exactly know how to deal with that. Even with the knowing and understanding that the Goddess is a guide
in his life, a guide to the purity of life that she is, he has not yet been able to shake this way of his. And he is sorry for that.

He sees himself as an elder of the light, something a paladin should be. To share himself freely with his
brothers and sisters, and in return feel their joy and happiness. All things a part of each other, keeping
themselves well together, keeping themselves and the light strong. But to another, the Goddess he feels
as a child, a child at least, that tries his best.
The dwarf still has much to learn in the eyes of the Goddess. Much to understand for him to grow into a
man still in her eyes, as much as he could be.
"You Domond, whom have tread close to the line (of darkness) need to know what it is that makes a soul
shine with gold, that to me is far more important than that which taints an aura red. You know the rules that
Selionar lives by. Good, and as he does, you will also have your own rules. The first rule is one built on a
foundation of faith. The second, a rule meant to foster goodness within your soul. The third should be built
on purity."

Domond, almost in a way feeling like a child that can help someone, was quite eager to complete the task.
During the days ahead, he has spent much time thinking in personal reflection of himself, the man he has
been, and all he has complished alone, but most especiallly, together with others. He came to realize he
did not need to come up with rules, he lives by these rules as they were. The first and second, and for he
himself. After he realized this, the words to the first rule came much easier for him to express, and the
second already so. However, the third was the hardest. A rule built on purity, is a rule he could not express.
As there was no true way to define how it was to be in the presence of the Goddess, a feeling intertwined
with presence and force, perhaps this rule cannot be spoken, but made to shine, and that way to be
expressed. Heartened, he looks to the east once more, to the mists, and thinks to himself of all that has
happened since his drunken anger long ago in the tavern. He has become happy.

Crusaders and darkness

Added Fri Jan 1 13:11:57 2016 at level 51:
The mountains outside the fortress has been paved with blood, and the grass growing thick
and well fed, as that place more than any, has seen the corpses of the darkness piling high.
At least from where Domond sees things, it is where even the mummy finally was taken down from the heights
and the mask taken from his hands, freein the shawtabbies from his touch. But as time wears on there
have been times, where Domond has stood against only two, but between the two, having to face seventeen minions
along with the two, or with soelela also, even more undead for their unnatural armies. During such times, no matter
what Domond employed, or potions to protect himself, saw him being unable to last but the smallest of times.

Time and time again the darkness would be pushed back, but in the darkest of hours, he was not good enough.
He felt that he was failing... not himself, but his Goddess, his brothers and sisters, and everyone looking
up to him as the symbol of a true paladin. He felt the failure.

Back and forth the warring has raged between the fortress and the darkness, though mostly it has been
against the empire with the lack of presence from the Scarab temple, but with the war being won nad the
darkness being pushed back but at rare times, Domond knows he has to give retribution to the champion
of darkness himself, Gaspare. For he is the symbol of the wicked, and how far man will go for power and for themselves.

Fearful Confessions

Added Sun Jan 3 08:51:52 2016 at level 51:
This was a first for Domond. Taking off his helm, and greeting the jaguars as he makes his
way through the mists to the altar of the Lady Baerinika, he does not approach this time with
hope, but with a heavy heart. He comes to confess his feelings of failure, his feelings that he
isnt good enough, and the strongest of the darkling, the armies of all three necromancers and
undead together, he just cannot stand despite his best attempts and all the protections he
puts to bear.
"Meh Ladeh Goddess, can wes speakin once more?"
"Of course, Domond"
Inside Domond bore many worries. While he had come to look up to the Goddess as more than
a being of power, but more as the greatest friend he could ever know, he looked up to her as
something more than a second mother, but something that words cannot ever express, other than
true faith and trust. In this moment, Domond looked up to the Goddess, her face calm and serene,
but also bearin a look of trust and compassion.. like she already knew his struggles and understood.
He confessed. Confessed his failures, his doubts, his feelings of not being good enough, not being
able to stand, failing his brothers and sisters, and failing her.
The more he began to appreaciate, care for and adore his brothers and sisters, and his Goddess, the
more domond valued them, and feared to dissapoint them and fail them. The Goddess Baerinika
knew and commented on this also.
But the Goddess, fer her own reasons, was pleased with Domond. While he does not know if it was
because of his still trying no matter what against the odds or anything else, or that he teaches of her
to others, her ways and religion and teachings, he could only guess. What he took to heart that day
more than anything else, was that with him, she was happy with him, he felt as if he walked the right
path and steps no matter the odds and what happened. To aid in the warrings, the Goddess Baerinika
gathered the mists about her and wrapped Domond in a thick cocoon of her essence, and strengthened
his body with the essence of fortitude. A thing he found himself more ferocious, more able to be tenacious
and fight on in the wars ahead, which has so far proved a great, extremely great aid in the warring.

Tasks at hand

Added Sun Jan 3 09:24:56 2016 at level 51:
When the mists parted once more and Domond could see the Goddess clearly, he found himself on his
knees before her, happy from her blessings, and worried also from her scrutiny as she looked deeply into
his soul.
"There is more that needs to be done. You have fears Domond. One of them obviously is the fear of failing me.
Reflect further on yourself and your life. The next time you come before me, we will speak of three of your fears,
your greatest fears, and we will face them together."
Suddenly Domond was engulfed in a vision of himself. He no longer stood before the Goddess within the mists
of her shrine, surrounded by the Jaguars and life of her life, and the life she was truly a part of, but he found
himself within the city of Galadon. He stood within the market square crying. The fears he was facing had taken
its toll on him and crippled him. His fears of losins his brothers and sisters in the war by his side left him leaving
them behind to be alone against the darkness, removing himself too from the light of their lives. His fear of
expression leaving him voiceless, unable to speak, cut off from even being able to tell his sister Tenyajn, one
he respects the most in the fortress, from telling her he values her, for fear of saying the wrong thing. His fear
of failing his family and his Goddess, driving him to no longer act, so he can never repeat another mistake, and
have no chance to. He sees himself being broken by his fears, the light of life no longer being within him as he
had left it behind.
Suddenly he found himself once more looking into the eyes of the Goddess, and he stood. He understood why
she asked this of him, but he already knew his fears, he had been facing them all his life. But no words could
come to him to express all of this to his Goddess, not his vision in his minds eye, nothing. Words could not
express the feeling.
She understood. The Goddess looked down upon the dwarf and told him, "Take your time and reflect on this. We
have time Domond."
Being granted with permission to leave, Domond walks out of the mist stronger for the war, but
also takes with him a nightmare of a vision that has haunted his dreams for years. More than
the need to reflect on his life, he takes with him a need to act to ensure he does not break against
his fears, and the challenges ahead.

Seperate from his storyline, the horn of fate.

Added Sun Jan 3 12:11:49 2016 at level 51:
Selionar, elder and brother to Domond, and champion now of the Goddess, looked
down upon him due to his massive side, but with happiness and love. Within the guild
of galadon there was an air of friendship and trust born by time spent together, and
deeds done for each other. It was this day that Selionar opened himself up in trust, to
speak about the horn.
"Mes been seeking horn before you was born. Lives have come and gone, all seekers, an
still mes seeks the horn. Storm has seen leaders rise an fall, an still mes seeks horn. Thinks
is horn in Octagonal tower, does not know it, but needs help. Needs to find horn before darklings
does."

At the time I had thought it a personal task for Selionar to perform, even though he told me he
learned of it, from the vision of a now dead villager. I would later find out also, others have been
seeking the horn such as Daphedee, and the lich. But it was the reason Domond went with his
sister tenyajn to the shrine of Baerinika, and Selionar, and pledged that he would help Selionar
find the horn and sound it for the light.
Not all things were clear, and it came to pass that only two so far can sound the horn, and artifacts
are needed. Those two being Daphedee and Domond, and the artifacts Domond is doing his best
to keep from the darkness, the cube of Sardif and the ring of infinate corrosion.

If the day comes Selionar can sound the horn, Domond will keep his oath, if not will see to it his
best that it is sounded by the light if not himself. In the meantimes he takes heart in what the young
but wise Trilantial said. It is better to avoid the skirmishes and not risk losing the artifacts, and later
winning the war because you have sounded the horn (not the same words, but the meaning was
clearish i think). Its hurt him deeply, the times he has to avoid the skirmishes, but to make things
easier and better, he puts his faith in his brothers, especially fodir at times, to guard the artifacts
while he fights, so he does not risk losing them to the darkness.
--omitting four journal entries written about the guardians and deeds done, letting the stories I --
-- write about them and the deeds of his brothers and sisters count as the role happenings, is--
--best I can think of doing without spamming my role more. The first three were published by--
--sanshia, as domonds tale of the light and life part 1 2 and 3--

The future and beyond.

Added Sun Jan 3 18:38:57 2016 at level 51:
Domond valued greatly the life of his marshall, and looked up to him for reasons
he could not express well though tried. Having saw the marshall, and sometimes
the marshall and captain standin alone against the darkness, watching almost
everyone roaming being empirial but him, and seeing him stand strong, was an
inspiration to him. Domond met a grizzled veteran of war that never gave up, the
day he had met Gulrom. Time and fighting by his side only brought him closer to
a man that was a true hero. Then one day time stood still in his heart, as if a hammer
was smashed into him, was crushed. He read the words of Gulroms' note, and
his passage of time among us being no longer and wept. Losing Gulrom was the
most devastating loss he had ever suffered. Not long after however Gulrom had
returned, but had announced that it is only rare now he could fight, with the village
he was guarding being under such assault. It warmed his heart to life once more
being able to be by his side, even though Gulrom was no longer his Marshall, he
was his elder, all of their elders.
Then, through the gutteral growl of a Jaguar, Domond was passed the flaming
torch of the light, the sword darkbane, and leadership had come onto his shoulders.
There was no replacing Gulrom. He had stood when the night was darknest and
shone so brightly, that others had taken up the call, and through his actions, he had
created through bloodshed a strong army of the light. Domond is not in competition
with Gulrom, he does not have the same needs as Gulrom once had, and as he holds
the torch of leadership in his hands. There is a problem with the maran and squires of
the fortress, and a problem he has had as well. The armies of the light stands divided.
The squires and maran have long ignored the acolytes. When they would go to war and
strike, they woud do so alone. If they died, or if something bad happened, then and only
then would an acolyte know they were never there, because they never had a chance.
Domond has heard an acolyte say they feel left out, and unwanted as a protector and
guardian.
He is now responsible for the swords of light. For their training, for showing leadership
and for being an example, not only for bolstering the armies with more willing fighters.
Domond tought the most sacred teaching he took from the Gdddes Baerinika and has
tought them to his maran and squires, of what makes a soul shine with gold. He is now
going to drill them in teamwork, cooperation, and a flaw of his, communication. It is not
as a lone swordsman, that the likes of the lich will be banished. The ones he is in charge
of is going to learn, as must he, to not only accept this fact as he has, but to change
tactics, adapt, and over come as they must against the greater darkness, while staying
in the light. This is his focus, and this is his vow, that the light will stand united against the
darkness unlike anything seen before, and the darkness will be banished.

19 10 Verathi I don't really care that it was Gorrborno vs Zalg, but you laying hands on Gorrborno just strikes me as shady as hell.
