Description
You see a small sized gnome eyeing his surroundings carefully. He is
slightly past his adulthood years but appears to be in a very good shape.
He is obviously not a novice to fighting but does not have a look of
professional warrior. His hair is cut short and dyed several different colors
in a mottled pattern. He wears various pieces of armor made from hardened
leather, bone and even stone. His armor is without noticable gaps or holes
but quite worn out from extensive use. A thin layer of fine cave dust covers
every single inch of his skin and armor. He holds a short spear in his left h
It clearly has sentimental value to the owner. It's shaft is made of bog aok
with dragon tooth attached as an arrowhead. There are six wide notches on the
shaft. Top ones are pained in burning red, grass green and snow white. The
last three are left unpainted though time somewhat darkened thier brightness.
Role
Dorz the Dragonslayer
Added Fri Mar 13 14:03:07 2009 at level 51:
Out of boredom, curiousity and for the challenge Dorz started searching
and picking fights with various dragons.
They usualy would prove to be much more powerful then Dorz could handle
alone but Dorz loved doing it even though he would have to flee for his
life most of times.
Especially after managing to shove one dragon out. Yay Dorz.
You push a ten-headed silver dragon into a nearby wall, ruining his attempt to kick you!
Dragons, part II
Added Wed Apr 1 07:32:45 2009 at level 51:
Dorz has grown quite adept in slaying dragons.
In a begining:
Dorz was proud to slay black dragon whelp. His first victory over dragonkind.
He cut whelp's tooth and attached it as a head to his hunting spear. His first trophy.
Now:
Dorz organized a party and lead the charge against Red Dragon. And claimed it's treasures.
First Ancient Dragon is slain.
First of the six notches is filled with fiery red paint on that spear.
Future:
And the crowning moment of victory...
Dorz imagines himself fighting and beheading the legendary mother of all dragons, Tiamat.
Dorz is filling last sixth notch on his spear with sap and painting it in five colors of the beast.
Dorz, the noname stonecutter, shaper of gravestones is gone.
And the legend is born.
Dorz Tombstone... the Dragon Slayer... One who hunted them ALL down.
Dragonslaying 101 and Leadership
Added Wed Apr 22 05:39:23 2009 at level 51:
I've been waiting for the opportunity to slay ancient dragons for quite a while.
Years... I grew old and not sure how many more days I am yet to see. My spirit
is unwaivering by time though and I am still determined to continue my dragon hunt.
Yet this task is not achievable alone. So I need a good team to accompany me.
I spent my time exploring lairs and dangers within. I assumed the core of group
for such adventures would consist of defensive shifter, healer and invoker.
I've made connections with people needed to such goal. And while I've met and
convinced need classes to accompany me, I did not see them all at the same time.
So when opportunity came to join another group consisting of people I've never met
but capable of slaying dragons I took it as an opportunity.
Group did a mad dash around Thera, trying to beat toughest opponents. And while we
slain copper dragon and demon jackals in tower of Tronton, our dragon hunting was
riddled with multiple mistakes and failures. Which caused several members of
our group (including me) die needlessly. I attribute this to the inept leadership
and the arrogance of the Imperial warrior who claimed to know everything.
On positive side we did manage to slay Ancient White and Ancient Green dragons.
From which I did cut some juicy steaks for the latter feasts.
Drawing conclusion I need to improve my leadership skills and actually lead groups
to keep them safe and accomplish goals we aim for.
Then mistakes which might possibly happen would be my mistakes.
And I believe I will do better and minimize the risk of such.
I don't seek power over others but certain things could only be accomplished through
the strong leadership.
So I tasked myself in helping others to help me become a better leader.
