Description

A tall thin human is before you. Flowing, almost black hair frames his face. Soft blue almond-shaped eyes, which seem to hold firmness of purpose within, above an aristocratic nose. His skin is lightly-tanned, as if he knows the the sun, but does not spend all his time in it. Arrogant bearing and quite nervous manners shows you, that he is not kindtempered person.

Role

A personality and decisions.

Added Sun Oct 7 06:11:39 2007 at level 42:
If you ever try to look at the world from Doweran's eyes you will see that it consists
of persons of two sorts mostly. Persons of first sort are those wicked ones, who seeking
to enslave or destroy others. Thus they be destroyed themselves. Persons of second sort
are those be liable to protection. Alas, most of them like crying babes, who unable to
take care of themselves. Muddle-headed, weak in spirit - so are many of them, whom Doweran met
On his lifepath.

Combining impatience of arials, shortness of temper of dwarves and willing to hunt of felar
Doweran hardly can be called as a 'nice guy'. He does not tolerate mistakes and weaknesses.
Neither in others nor in himself. Believing that weak and unreliable ones can not stand
against outnumbering evil hordes well. To his dissapointment he found that most of his
former companions in travelling have not enough inner spirit's strength and will to follow
his path. At least, Doweran thinks so with an inflection of arrogance.

With all this he uncovered a problem that hinders to achieve his goals. Lack, or better to say,
full absense or reliable allies makes hunting an extremely difficult task.
He is ready to devote all his life to combat but his foes are like mosquitos, who are hard
to catch, who run away when he is strong and bite him when he is not ready.

Unable to trust enough to occasionaly met companions (since many of them proved themselves
as unreliable and muddle-headed ones, who stood aside from fight) Doweran starts to think
about joining Fortress. Though generally in other case he would prefer to stay alone.

Doubts, doubts, doubts...

Added Thu Oct 11 08:11:06 2007 at level 45:
While his striving for battle against darkness still unbreakable, Doweran's mind
is seized by doubts, making him to behave vaguely and chaotically sometimes. Should he
raid Outlanders' Tree? They are not totally evil still they seem to act like chaotical
barbarians going to kill those, whom they do not like. Not for personal gain, as Scions do,
but does it matters much for those citydwellers, who are attacked by them?
The doubts were the reason he helped Tribunal to attack the Tree. The doubts were the reason he
changed his mind after battle began and left.
Sometimes he attacks or get attacked by others, who are not totally wicked or even more,
who walks same path as he does. Should he attack obvious enemy or defend only or just flee?
Sometimes he did first thing, sometimes - second thing, sometimes - third thing.

New experience and power he got during his latter days did not make his temper better anymore.
Blaming of his wish to join Fortress to fight more effectively by some Fortress members
And unability to fight proven by others have pissed him off, making him thinking, that
Some squires lack some strong leader to guide them altogether but have redundancy of arrogance.

The fortress.

Added Sat Oct 13 16:40:32 2007 at level 50:
The more Doweran gets to know about Fortress the less he likes it. Those Marans he saw seem
to like everything: going here and there, doing their own business, so everything but
hunting wicked. They declined every Doweran's offer to strike together. At the
first few cases he thought (filling himself pissed off) they just do not trust him
and hunt alone, but time was passing and wicked continued to roam the realms.
However, Cardinal and squire named Atez were unexpected, but pleasant exclusion to this.
They travelled together. Hunted together. Fought evil together.

What is that? Lack of striving to fight? Unwillingness to travel with Doweran?
Another thing that bother him is that noone want to give recommendations about him.
And this is when others, younger ones, are already joined Fortress! Worth to mention,
that Doweran was the one, who (when there was no Imperial he could to find himself) organized
a party of younger those lightwalkers, persuaded them and lead them to Darsylon, which was
attacked by a group of young Imperials. Swift ambush was successful: a dark paladin was killed
others were scattered. And now they are in Fortress, and himself is not. Filling completely
pissed off, Doweran begins to become a lone person, who seeks combat even more than
before to prove himself and free his inner anger.

Damned thieves!

Added Sat Oct 13 17:04:38 2007 at level 50:
Another thing, that certainly does not make Doweran more kind and calm is thievery!
First time he had been trapped and robbed by Sybea, whilst Imperial warrior was killing
Doweran's companion. But second incident had made him truly enraged. Resting near Fortress
after successful attack he did not notice right away that he is robbed by an elven thief.
And who could think that she dare to do this! He lost some valuable stuff, including weapon
and was looted three times. The result of such deed should be only punishment.
As Doweran believes, evil is not defined by race or ancestors. It is something, defined
by deeds and personal decisions. So, if elf starts to rob and continues this despite of
warnings, he should be executed. There is time for words, but if they are unsuccessful, it is
time for actions. To his regret, Doweran have not manager to kill thief but was robbed again.

This have been noticed by dark Gods, who find such action amusing. If they tried
to turn Doweran to their side by this, that was unsuccessful. He just simply does not care
about this. And if they think he will serve them, they have deeply mistaken.
Gods of Light noticed this as well. As Doweran see this, anirony consists is that
while Gods punished him, they do the same action by essence. As Doweran reacted on
evil deeds of elf by actions of punishment, Gods acted in the same manner.

Having his lifepath like a walk on a thin ice in deep night, Doweran does not know
where will he comes to eventually.
