Description
Standing just under three and a half feet tall,
this ghostly pale figure's bearing is that of
someone who feels they are larger and tougher
than they are. Skin the color of a freshly dug
garden grub, and hair only a slightly darker
grey give this fellow the appearance of a newly
risen corpse. His eyes appear to be naught but
glistening stones staring forth from a face scarred
by pain and horror, and quite possibly and axe.
The strong scent of oils commonly used in caring
for weapons and armor fill the air near him.
Role
Dremkal and magic.

In the bowels of the earth where his birthplace lies, Dremkal
was to be trained as a transmuter, yes he was said to have
all of the potential of a strong wizard. He had difficulty
actually working magic though, he simply could not complete
a spell.
The incantations and powers drawn upon squirmed inside him
like a living thing. Loss of concentration was the least of the
effects of this, he spewed forth the contents of many a lunch
upon the floor of the training hall.
The feelings caused by magic sickened him more and more each
day. The jeers of classmates simply added to his problems. One
day another apprentice decided to cast a minor spell upon him to
cause him to move faster. Enraged and terrified he bludgeoned
the offending classmate to death.
Forced to flee his home and find his way among the surface
dwellers, Dremkal is mistrustful of others. He is a social being
in his heart, but there are too many unknowns facing him at
this point in his life.

Just popped it off the top of my head when talking to a dwarf, seemed
okay for a gnome.
