Description

Standing barely two feet tall, this small little gnome is impeccably dressed. His robes, which look like they may be made for a doll, are incredibly clean and neat. He appears to be standing with his back as straight and tall as possible, almost as if he wishes to appear taller than he is. No visible weapons can be seen on his person.

Drident in a nutshell

Drident is a simple Gnome.  He likes to explore the lands but also believes in an orderly
home to come home to.  The chaos he witnesses while on his travels proves to him the need
for order within the cities of the land.  This is why he has pledged himself to the Blood
Tribunal and fights for their cause.  He does not generally go out and look for conflict, 
as he believes this will only enhance the chaos.  He will though fight for what he believes
in and will fight to protect the order of the cities and to keep the Spire strong.

Journal Entry for 27th of the Month of the Grand Struggle in the year 1786.

I have begun to believe that the Gods in their wisdom are trying to tell me something.  Their
gift of the forms of the Silverback Gorilla and the Owl seem very well suited in the hunt of
the outlanders that hide in the trees.  No longer can they hide from me at night and I can 
blend into the trees with them.  Between these gifts and the fact that the outlanders hunt me
whether I hunt them or not seems to indicate that I am taking the wrong approach to the problem.
Now, with the finding of my Black Rod of Power, I shall begin to take the fight to them.  Perhaps
that is the only way to truely keep the Order within the Great Cities of the land.  I was happy
to just let them live in their wilds, but it appears that can not longer be the case.  They must
be dealt with once and for all.  They must learn that if they continue their reign of chaos
within the Cities, I will no longer stand and let them be outside of them.  Today, I began to 
take the fight to them.

More and more I have been thinking on Provincial Magistrate Islinic's idea of me becoming
the Vindicator of the Blood Tribunal.  I had never truly given it any thought before he 
told me he spoke to the Provost about the idea.  When I first joined the Spire, I had been 
content to let those criminals that do not enter the cities be.  More and more I am not 
willing to allow this.  They believe they are safe from me when they are no longer in the
cities, but that is no longer going to be the case.  I must put more time and energy into
finding my Sienna Rod of Power.  Without it, my abilities to hunt the criminals has been a
bit lacking.  I can not help but feel that if I am able to become the Vindicator of the
Blood Tribunal, that I will be taking the final step in following the steps of my mentor
and friend, Dijur Za-Kahru.  To continue his work would be the final tribute to him.
