Description
You look at the tall, slender elf before you. His dark green jade color hair
is tied back with a piece of leather and hangs over his shoulder. He has
opal green eyes that seem to narrow as they survey the surroundings. His
lanky frame is sparsly clothed in various pelts and skins, tied with leather
straps. His weathered face and body is darker green than normal due to his
years in the extreme wilds. He has various trinkets strapped to his belt.
You notice tribal markings drawn on his exposed skin. He carries a few
weapons from spears to sharp daggers. Leather sandals are strapped around
his ankles.

Eilduin grew up in the Village of Lallenyha nestled in the shadows of the
Jade Mountains. Life was good for young Eilduin. His family tent was
sparsly furnished with rugs to sleep on and a fire pit was dug into the floor
to keep his family warm on those cold frosty mountain nights. His father was
one of the village guards who would defend the village and also hunt for food
when needed. His mother would forage around the surrounding mountains for
berries and other things to eat. She would also cook the food in the family
fire pit and turn pelts into clothing for the family. His tribe of elves are
a goodly folk and are always mindful to not harvest too much from the land
and to kill animals only for food when in dire need. They kept a few sheep
near the village which they would shear for wool and gather milk from.
Most of all, Eilduin enjoyed time spent with the elders. Learning about the
history of his people from anchient Lallenyha. He would hear stories how
Lallenyha first discovered these anchient lands and wandered the mountains
looking for a place to settle. He would listen for hours stories about how
the Gods formed the lands, the rocky peaks, tall mountains and small winding
streams. Elder Vanyllal would take us into the Ancient Forest. Pointing out
various land marks and showing us what plants were edible, and which ones
were poisonous. He would show us how to find various herbs and flowers to
use in remidies and show us what signs to look for when digging for roots
that were edible or had healing qualities. We would spend days just
wandering, learning and studying the various plants and creatures that
inhabited our homelands.
Once he was old enough Eilduin was able to go with Elder Lakayila and hunt
for food. This did not happen often, so he was eager to learn. They crept
through the mountains as they headed down into the forest floor. He was
shown the different tracks the elk made, the size of the prints, how the male
elk had a longer stride than the female. A snapped twig here, a broken
branch there. They crept along, following our prey unseen. He was taught
how to use the wind to help hide our scent for animals were flighty and
easily spooked. They watched from the cover of the forest as the small herd
of Elk grazed near the banks of the bubbling stream. Close to a dozen elk
could be seen, from young ones to older bucks to ones that had seen a dozen
winters. Lakayila nudged Eilduin and motioned to a older buck off to the
side slightly away from the rest. He had a gnarled look to him, a few scars
and was showing signs of a limp. Lakayila told him that that buck would not
last the winter, his injury would slow down the herd if they had to outrun a
mountain lion. Eilduin knew what He must do. He pulled his bow off his
shoulder and knocked an arrow. His breath slowed as he sighted the elk, he
let loose an arrow and it slammed into the chest of the elk. The old elk

toppled over and the other elk ran startled into the forest. He quickly ran
to the elk who was twitching on the ground and cleanly ended his life with
his dagger as he breathed a prayer to their Gods.
Now that he was old enough he could wander our lands alone. Eilduin would
spend days out in the wilds, climbing the Mountain peaks, and traveling the
foothills, and exploring the forests. He was able to gather berries and
roots to eat and even caught a rabbit or two. One day he could heard the
muffled growls of a she lion. He creapt nearer until he could make out the
shapes of the mountain lion and her mate in the darkness of the cave which
was their home.He watched in awe as she gave birth to single cub. As he
crouched behind a rock some ways from the cave entrance, the Male lion turned
his head and stared straight at Eilduin. It was as if he had known he was
there all along. Their eyes met and in that brief moment their lives
entwined.
From then on Eilduin though of nothing much else. He would quickly do his
chores and then head straight into the wilds. He watched for months as the
young lion cub grew. Eilduin was there when the cub first left the cave and
started to follow his mother outside. He watched him run, and play with is
parents ever watchful. He saw the lion father as he brought him his first
game to eat, and he watched as the young lion learnt how to hunt his first
animal. One day as Eilduin was heading to where he though he would find the
lions he noticed something amiss. The usual forest sounds were not there.
Worried he hastened his pace until he came across a grizzly scene. His
friends the lions had been slain, their lifeless bodies were scattered in a
clearing, with cross bow bolts protruding from their torsos. With dread he
noticed the mighty father lion had been decapitated. Rage filled Eilduin and
he soon found tracks leading south. He soon caught up to three humans,
hunters from Seantryyn Modan. One he dispatched with a arrow through the
neck. Another he ran through with his spear as he charged into battle. The
remaining hunter had a sack strapped to his back, dripping blood. Eilduin
fell apon him in a frenzy blow after blow they traded until the hunter
finally fell with a dagger through the heart. Eilduin himself had a nasty
gash across his ribs and his arm was also cut deep. Eilduin staggered back
to his home and fell exhausted near the gates. His breatheren found him and
took him to the healers tent, cleaned his wounds and poulticed them with
bandages. Guards and hunters were sent to find out what happened and came
back hours later the next day with news of what had happened to Eilduin, the
dead lions and the tree dead people.

It took a few weeks for Eilduin to recover and once able he was summoned to
Elder Lallenyha for judgement. Lallenyha looked up at Eilduin and motioned
for him to sit on the mat. After a short pause he started to speak.
You have committed murder Eilduin, you have slain three men. It is not our
way to kill. You must leave out village and find your own way in this world.
you are no longer welcome here with us and are banished from our lands".
Eilduin was taken to his family tent so he could pack his meger things. He
was then escorted to the edge of the village. His mother watched on, tears in
her eyes as Eilduin was lead away. In his heart Eilduin knew killing those
men was right, he knew he is different than his kin, he is wild and free.
