Description
The tall, lithe, being before you has a calm almost serene look on his
marble white face. At roughly six feet tall he stands above most of his
elven brethren. Long and straight his auburn brown hair is pulled back
in two long braids falling midway down his back. His almond shaped
eyes, a deep sea blue, are opened wide to the world. His lips, pursed
together, are a slight red in color but stand out starkly against his face.
On the palm of his right hand a small green making in the shape of a
single rose rest right below his thumb. Clad in light clothes and armor
while worn they appear well maintained as the metal still glints as the
light hits it.
Role
A Burdened Soul

Where does duty lie? Does it stand in higher esteem then my own soul?
For it was for the sake of duty I ventured within the Inferno, sorrowfully
accepting the sins to traverse its landscape. I know it to be true that I did
so for the sake of others, though this act of charity, I strove to help bring
and end to chaos of our time. But I also know that no amount of good
intention or good will can erase this mark and so I shall be forever
reminded of my own failings, I do pray that others will learn from my
faults, and that I will be strong enough to always but the needs of others
over my own.
The teachings of a friend

Again, I am reminded of the many blessings of my Lord, this very day my
leader and teacher, the wise Cardinal Lauraine, has again taken the time to
guide me. As I struggled with the burden of my own sin, the failure that I
exhibited towards my faith, the Fortress, and my guild. She had the clarity
of mind and wisdom to help reassure me, to strengthen my resolve. I
know that the life of the peace keeper will always mar my soul, I will
never forget him. It is for this I pray that the Cardinal's words be true that
if I learn and do not commit this most heinous sin again, that I can still be
a defender of the Light for others. Though I am yet uncertain how I will
find atonement.
Acolytes of the Golden Sun

For sometime now I have struggles with myself about how best to seek
my path, how best to serve the Light. I have contemplated seeking a
place within the Spire or with the Holy Brigade but I think neither will
allow me to best protect the innocent. To much darkness dwells within
the Spire itself for me to, in good conscience, find allegiance there. And
with the Holy Brigade, the staunch and valiant war they wage would
draw me to far into the depths of darkness and away from those that
need my shield most. And thus, it is with the Acolytes of the Golden
Sun that I shall seek to preserve the light, to shield the innocent and
preach the righteousness of the Light.
Holding to the path

A blessing graced me this day, Lauraine a most wise soul, and Cardinal
of the Fortress of Light, did me such an honor in guiding me through the
temple of our Lord. I will work to remember her kind and wise words as
I strive to hold to the path. I see it more clearly now though, it is by
giving of myself without hesitation for the benefit of the innocent, that I
can best serve the light. Holding to this line, with conviction and
determination will guide my hand in protecting those beset by the
plagues of evil and shadow.
The gift of the Archon

The words of Lord Corrlaan were few but seemed very deliberate, a
warning almost of the troubles that lay ahead of me as I embark on my
chosen path. What will these twists be,these changes? I wonder, it
seemed clear when I first approached my teachers with desires, but
perhaps their assent was in acknowledgement that no matter what path I
took, nothing can be known of it for certain till the journey has begun
and the way revealed. It is settled in my mind as best it can be now, I
will with eager anticipation seek out these twists, these challenges to my
desires and with the guidance of the Lord of Archons I will seek to
overcome them for the good of all under the Light.
A new journey

The life of a squire is one diligence and fortitude, every moment there is
something to be done, attended to and if the work and training is
complete, then prayer and reflection is the order of business. Elerosse
was submerged in the rigidities and thrived, finding the structure
comforting and familiar. A wide breath of spiritual knowledge had been
open to him for most of his life, but it was early on that he knew he
would seek out the Lord of Archons for patronage, for it was from the
mouths of his priest that he found the most wisdom, and knew his life in
service to others would not go to waste.
Birth and life, a path opens.
Added Sat Sep 23 15:44:35 2006 at level 1:
Elerosse was born in the white city of Voralia, nestled peacefully in the
midst of the great rive that carries the same name. Born the son of one
of the cities noble peace keepers that guard the city in perpetual
vigilance, Elerosse's childhood was one of rules and structure. He
learned to respect his elders, the importance of the law in living a good,
moral life, and above all to respect the Gods of Light. Holding in his
heart great love and respect for his father, Tanthinanis Amandil,
Elerosse's work diligently to be an ideal son, he was well mannered and
polite, anxious to be of help, and constantly putting himself to task in
regards to his studies.
It was his desire from his youngest days to follow his father and take a
place amongst the guards when he was old enough and capable of such a
pursuit. His father, a wise man, sensed this early on and wishing more
for his son than what life had give him, sent him off to work in the Holy
temple of the light, to serve the priests there and learn from them,
thinking that perhaps with such guidance he would instead seek a place
amongst the clergy instead. Elerosse ever the dutiful son obeyed his
father eagerly, but his desires to serve and protect never diminished once
he was living within the temple. The dogmatic rituals and practices of
the clergy and monks was ground into him, Elerosse never buckled
under the pressure finding a sense of peace and well being in the
routines and rites that filled his days. He quickly began to please the
priests with the sense of respect and care that he took in his duties and
prayers and they began to prod him in a new direction, his strong body
and mind they knew could both be shaped within the halls of the squires
where those that sought the training of the paladins guild where tested
and weeded through and thus once again others pushed Elerosse in a
new direction sending him away again to be taught by someone else.
The priests had been right, and Tanthinanis could not have been more
proud of his son, for Elerosse excelled, quickly moving through the
ranks and towards acceptance as a full squire. It seemed to Elerosse that
all he had learned from his father, the priests, and the knights was just to
move him in this direction, to open the path that now lay before him, in
his heart he knew this to be above all, the right thing to path to take.
