Description
An attractive 59 human female catches your eye, her figure svelte, but
muscular. Long, radiant, blonde, hair falls loosely over her shoulders.
Sea-green eyes narrow and the sparkle within them captivate you. Her
garments do not appear to hamper her movements. If anything they seem to
cling to her curves with every graceful move. The pink scar on her left
wrist has healed and in its place the mark of a purple lotus is visible.
You continue to watch her as she strides toward you with some purpose.
Role
Betrayal Because of Love

Darkness begins to fall and Elzebeth looks out over the lands from a
shadowed corner of the guard tower. Even now an army of the Fortress of
Light lays waste to the lands. Brazenly strolling down the streets as if
they are own. Why is it they have no fear in their hearts? The answer is
simple, the strength of the Empress has weakened the Empire as a whole. Her
strength has bred weakness in the Empire she pledged to strengthen. She has
failed, her strength has grown beyond that of any mortal. As her power has
grown the Empire's has weakened.
The pulpits of the divine have grown silent, the blacks remain leaderless.
If the forces of the blade do show it is to hide beneath her skirt. Through
it all only the Shadow have remained vigilant. Elzebeth has restored a
respect for the darkness and made her dwellers understand the importance and
meaning of the sect.
Ahlieti gave control of the sect to a Tribunal. She allowed Iktul to choose
me as Shadow Lord. The Kingpin steadily used his influence with the lich to
guide my path. Now it is time that both learn that love is timeless.
Elzebeth's vote was cast against Iktul, likely causing him to lose the guild
he cherished. Ahlieti lost her way and has nearly destroyed the Empire. She
will be punished for allowing an outsider to determine the fate of the most
cherished sect. Zerrla will be given the opportunity to redeem herself. In
all likelihood she will only be a short term solution until I can have a
Dreadlord named.
Water, Vanity, Healing, Love

Elzebeth looks around the room and marvels at the beauty of the bathhouse.
She moves over under the shadow of the column to think about the words her
lady spoke. How has Elzebeth's life tied into the Lady's vision for Thera.
How can has life tied into vanity, water, healing, and love? Slinking down
to the bottom of the pillar, Elzebeth slumbers, allowing the visions to once
again capture her. As she sleeps the questions roll over and over in her
mind.
It is not discovering how to make her life fit theses things. Elzebeth's
life has always been devoted to these things. She needed to only come to a
realization of how the Lady has guided her life.
Vanity
Was she not the one that believed she could determine the will of her God?
She took it upon herself to deliver her Lady's message. Did she not approach
the Lord of the Empire asking for power, yet giving nothing in return? Her
force of will and personality let to her becoming the Shadow Lady. Yes,
perhaps she always was vain.
Love
Her love of Raiyhn has guided her every move. Devoting her life for the
greater believe that she could become part of something better. She made the
sacrifice of her soul, because it is what she felt was dearest.Much like
the pauper may have given his last copper, Elzebeth gave the last bit that
was good within herself.
Healing
If the church was left to its' own devices the cancer of the unworthy would
have continued to grow. Elzebeth has healed the Lady's own followers, by
cutting away those that were not worthy. Once the dead and failures have
been removed, then the lotus can flower and blossom.
Water
This has been explained but it also serves as a catalyst. Without the water
it could not grow. Elzebeth has been the catalyst on the Lady's garden.
Wrap-up
All of these things combined have what made Elzebeth the woman she has
become. Each aspect made up a small part, now the sums have made a whole.
Her views and means of execution have made her a unique and powerful follower
of the Lady.
Another restless sleep
Added Mon Feb 16 20:17:11 2009 at level 30:
Bodies and blood of swordsmen and dwarves lie all about her on the
battlefields. Elzebeth pauses for a moment to catch her breath and admire
her work. None were worthy of her lady's love. As she cuddles up in the
shadows near a dwarven body, she falls fast asleep. Slowly her mind drifts
back to the past events..
What better place for the lady of love than the Empire? She can show her
lady that she is special by rising through the ranks. Once she gains
dominion over the masses, churches would be erected, statues placed in every
town square, all of this in the name of love. As the masses gathered,
Elzebeth would continue lurking in the shadows. Watching, judging, and
sacrificing in Rayihn's name.
The ground work has been set. She was used her cunning mind, physical
beauty, and silver tongue to lay the foundation. Elzebeth made a deal with
the lich to bring more gold as a bloodoath than any shadow of the sect had
donated. She then made another deal with Grawshen to have him supply her
with gold for information on the Black Sect. What a wonderful opportunity to
cull some of the lesser citizens of the Empire. All the while she would make
the Empire stronger with the gold collected by the village. She would now
turn her attention to infiltrating the Tribunal and Scions.
Elzebeth swifts a little in her sleep, as her dreams weave visions of the
future.
Water and love, love and water how are the two relevant? How do they pertain
to her?Water is forever flowing and can engulf anything in its' path.
Waves can crash against the strongest rock, leaving it reduce to sand. Water
can take a barren field and turn it into golden rows. Water can wash that
same field away. Love is like this as well. It can engulf, heal, destroy,
weaken, or strengthen any being. Elzebeth is water that has turned to ice.
She will infiltrate through the cracks and then harden and split the rock.
Many will call her evil or tainted, but one cannot deny nature. This is the
nature the past has created.
A small yawn escapes her ruby lips. Elzebeth gathers her things and
stretches. She is ready once more to begin the battle.
Dreams (Part 2)

took away her innocence, now she would give away her righteousness. Her
beauty was not something that could be denied. Her physical scars had healed
and the emotional ones had made her stronger. Love, what of love, how could
she show it? Elzebeth had spent months now observing the priest and some
would never be worthy of Rayihn's love. Elzebeth took it upon herself to
show them true love. She walked into each of the priest's room and quietly
laid a kiss upon their head before slitting their throats. Elzebeth Von'Durn
would prune those unworthy or unable to be worthy of her lord. A wicked path
of darkness that not all could embrace that she felt was needed.
Another bolt strikes and Elzebeth is startled from her slumber. Gathering her
belongings she once more begins the trek to the Tir-Talath.
Dreams
Added Sat Feb 7 16:42:00 2009 at level 1:
Sheets of rain fall down around the young woman. She shivers
uncontrollably, as a deep shiver runs down her spine. Her consciousness
begins to fade and the chill in the night air deepens. Elzebeth glances at
her wrist and tired head bows. After all these years, her wrist still burn a
fiery-red from rope burns. Lightning flashes over head and the torment of
her past overtakes her.Dredging up awful memories there will be no rest for
her again tonight..
Six years ago Elzebeth waited table at a small bar in Hamsah Mu'tzah called
the Rutting Camel. Her mother was a barmaid and wench of little renown at
the bar and her father a dock worker at the seaport. Neither had any desire
for a child, but as is often then case fate granted them one. Her father
quietly left for sea and never returned. Her mother did not want the
responsibility, but she saw opportunity. In hopes of lessening her own
burden, Elzebeth's mother trained her daughter to be a barmaid.
Night after night men came, drinking, dancing, singing, and occasionally
fighting. Elzebeth learned to maneuver through their attempts to grope her
with the grace of an elf. The older and more developed she became, the more
attention she seemed to garner. With the frequent fighting she also became a
professional at dodging punches, evading chairs, and occasionally parrying a
bar glass. Elzebeth took the opportunities to pick a pocket or two when the
situation allowed. A lithe hand and a devil's smile were perfect compliments
to a drunken male.
Little did Ezebeth know that the local thieves' guild had taken refuge in a
secret room near the bar. They had not taken kindly to her muscling in on
their turf. One night she approached a seemingly unsuspecting fellow. Just
as her hand reached his pocket, he turned and swiftly struck her in the head,
knocking her unconscious. Bond and gagged she was drug into a backroom,
where the band of thieves repeatedly had their way with her.
After a week or so of captivity Elzebeth managed to unbind the knots and
escape.Every ounce of her remaining strength was put into the effort. Her
ravaged body ended up bloodied and broken before the door of a small chapel.
With one final effort she managed a small knock on the tall wooden door. It
was there that the white robed priests of Rayihn found her. Elzebeth's last
thought before fading into unconsciousness was how they resembled angels.
Months passed and Elzebeth's recovery was slow. She did heal and as she did
she listened to the teachings of the priest. What would it take for her to
be a worthy follower of Rayihn? How could she achieve greatness? What set
her apart from the others? What would she need to do to embody beauty,
sacrifice, and love? Elzebeth continued to watch and study until she came up
with a solution.
With a heavy heart Elzebeth made the ultimate sacrifice. The Hamsah thieves
