Description
A short woman wearing silver laced black clothing. Despite being form fitting
there is an air of modesty about her attire. Small in frame she appears to
weigh roughly 117 pounds standing at 4 foot 8. Her face is a pale ivory color
that makes her soft blue eyes appear even bluer than they are. Dark black
hair falls down past her shoulders neatly appearing to be well groomed.
Various wands, scrolls, and books of magical nature can be seen kept within
the her satchel or on her belt. Always within reach for quick use.
Around her neck is a tattoo that is partially covered by a scarf. Intricate
lines peeking out just above the top of the scarf showing great detail was
put into it despite being covered. The continuation of the mark can be seen
peeking out past the sleeves of her dress. Negative energy seems to pulse
around these strange lines.

Born as an orphan to the church in Arkam she had a normal childhood
considering. She was raised as a healer within the church. She grew up with a
man by the name of Derek Smithers who was the blacksmith apprentice. She
would marry him by the age of 17. Her life went well until a young woman by
the name of Isabella moved to the city. She took a position teaching the
children at the church. Beautiful in the tradition sense she would be the
envy of any woman.
Slowly Derek and Isabella became good friends though Encarva felt there was
something more hidden in their jokes and friendly gestures. As the months
went by she became convinced that he was having an affair with this woman. In
secret she studied necromancy to invade his mind while he slept. Testing the
boundaries of the magic pushing it and warping it haphazardly to her desires.
While he slept she forced him into a magical slumber then sifting through
his memories she found that he only cared for Isabella as a friend. She dug
deeper as he had to be hiding it deeper within his own mind. His infidelity's
had to be there. Driving the corruptive magic deeper into his mind beyond
what ever should be done. She still only found his own undying love for her.
Too late she noticed the darkness seeping, warping, and slowly consuming
her husband's mind. She used a mix of her powers as a necromancer and as a
healer to seal the corruptive magic she had placed unwittingly on her
husband. Weaving and cleaning up the injured portions of his mind. The
memories of her and Isabella were mixed and shattered. She tried to mend his
mind failing over and over.
Desperately she worked to try and save him. She finally realized the only
way to save him was to remove her memories from his mind. Yet the gaps in his
memory would remain. Cursed to fill them in with Isabella's to complete his
broken mind and make whole. A make shift ritual later and she sealed the dark

magic with her body. Forever weakened her body to sustain the magic keeping
the seal active. She left but not before altering the minds of the townfolk
and Isabella.
The chaos of her fears and weakness of her own self cost her everything she
loved. There was nothing left for her to do but move to a new town. She moved
to Balator with the little money she had starting a new life under a new
name. Hoping to rebuild herself.
Knowing that she couldn't continue to live in the pettiness she once lived
and the lifestyle that would cause her to fear loss of what she desires to a
random harlot. She decided to remake herself. She would raise herself so far
above her old life. She would rise to power that Therans would both fear and
adore her. That her own strength couldn't be challenge by mere good looks
alone.
During her time in Balator she would see the parades hosted by Emperor in
Lord Rillan's honor. If only she could inspire the fanfair, the respect, and
the praise that was adorned to him. Just a bit of that would show that she
was worth more than her failures.
She thought to herself what was the most chaotic, yet redeemable group
about? This brought her to the Scions. With the right leverage and the right
push. She could turn the Chasm in a place of higher learning. Dark magic
mastery unlike any have ever seen. A great institution reflecting her own
brilliances and the guidance of Lord Rillan.
