Description

A radiant elf stands here at about six feet in height. He is built thicker than most of his kin, a broad set of shoulders and puffy chest showing a good deal of strength. His arms and legs are well defined and muscular. His face is almond shaped and he has a stiff dignified chin. His mouth is small and forms a natural frown, his small, narrow nose has a dip droops downwards slightly similar to his mouth. His eyes are bright blue and large, shock wide to a disturbing degree. His hair is long and golden, radiating the beauty of the sun. He is a priest and is dressed very well. He takes great care of his things, appearing very clean and organized.

Erhiadkeb was born in Darsylon to parents who were both part of the high
guard of the palace. He was taught the way of a warrior from a young age
and learned to fight very young, as it was expected that he would follow
in their footsteps in due time.

He fought this for a good while, he was never quite like his parents. He
believed in the law but also valued his own personal freedom. His parents
tacked this up to being a rebellious child but in the end Erhiadkeb was
more concerned about accomplishing what he wanted, even at a young age.

Erhiadkeb had joined hunters from Darsylon and saw fit to learn to hunt
and fight outside of his parents sphere. He grew comfortable with the
staff and polearm, keeping fierce animals at bay from his frail young
body.

After several years of this, Erhiadkeb's life changed irreparably when he
was captured by slavers from Udgaard. He was kept in a cell for many
years because of his refusal to endure the life of a slave. The
slavemaster took particular interest in him, wanting to see him broken.

Erhiadkeb's toughness and mental fortitude was tested harshly by these
years in a cell. He grew frail and weak in body but did all he could to
keep his mind sharp. Perhaps it was because of this tribulation in his
life that he turned to faith.

He remembered the teachings about Lord Korsgaard, though he never paid
much heed in his time as a student. But now he felt he needed a
connection to something outside of his cell and began to pray regularly.
He would often feel a holy presence that motivated him to carry on.

He finally found opportunity to escape from Udgaard, ducking into a foul
underground sewer that led him to an underground river. He floated away
on a piece of wood that surely saved him from drowning.

Drawing Courage.

He found himself awakening to a beacon of light in the sky, it was
Voralian City. He was spotted and helped from the river to the docks. It
was here during his recovery in the temple that he decided to become a
paladin.

His experience in Udgaard had filled him with anger and he wanted deeply
to find vengeance upon those who did this not only to him, but to the
countless others he encountered. 

He chose to study the way of a champion, still feeling comfortable with
the staff and polearm from his youth. He set out to destroy evil in any
form he could find it, then he would press on to Korsgaard for his
blessing.

He wants to accomplish great things, he wants to be remembered not only
by those like him, but particularly by his enemies. He wants them to
recall the suffering he inflicts upon them and the fear he will create.

He hasn't the heart to return home to his parents, if they are still
alive. But someday when he has proven himself he will try to find them
again. A sense of guilt is about him from his arrogant past.

Only one thing concerns him now, fighting through his fears and becoming
more than what he was. Showing the world and Udgaard itself they cannot
break him, and his spirit will endure.

Giving Hope Over Death.

The teachings of Korsgaard have led me to great success against my
enemies. I find myself ready for a new challenge, having brought fear and
pain to the filth that surrounds us. I look around and know that I cannot
do this alone now. I've decided to challenge myself in a new way. I've
decided to begin helping others harness the power within and find success
in the hunt as I have.

I cannot take them all on as much as I would like, the young need to be 
prepared for what lay ahead. Not everyone has the same experiences and
some need hope in life and to see that the foulness can be beaten. I will
try to show them this both in my actions and in my words.

I've made them bleed the dark hearts and yet I feel as if something is
missing in my life, in my actions. It is time to turn to my friends and
allies, show them how they too can find the same victory I have. Perhaps
then I will find a sense of fulfillment.

I've seen so much blood and death over the years now... at first I
enjoyed it and now i grow weary. I want to see the look of pride I once
had in others. I want to share my victories and live as a family with my
fellow maran.
