Description
The Half-Drow standing before you has taken on the features of long
learned wisdom, even he seems a bit young for it. His eyes no longer
hold the youth you know once radiated from them, but still hold a look of
hope, and happiness. His dark red hair has grown down to shoulder
length, and is comfortably well kempt. His face is the epitome of a true
Half-Drow. His face is a bit angular, but beautiful in and undescribable
way, but with a dark red Goatee, well kempt, but comfortable, like his
hair. His ears are pointed, almost entirely, as if he was more elf than
human, but his easily grown beard proves that false.
Role
Honesty
Added Mon Mar 29 21:18:08 2010 at level 1:
Good and Evil, very relative terms. Yet, they are very distinguished.
The difference isn't who someone is, how they were born, or what their
heart holds, which is popular belief. Being "Good" is overcoming the
urge to use your strength for the evil purposes. Being good in itself
has nothing to do with how you grew up, or who you grew up with. They
are indirectly responsible, however. They are the ones who instilled the
willpower into you as a child. They taught right from wrong, but it was
ultimately your choice whether to ignore it or not. It's hard to
recognized these differences, although you can never be a truly pure soul
unless you do. Being truly pure is about having the honesty to know that
you aren't a truly pure soul. You have to be honest with yourself, and
know you only reside within the light because you choose, not because of
where your heart lies. Without being honest with yourself, you can never
be honest with anyone else, therefore causing you to be as bad as the
ones with "Dark" hearts. In fact, they're better than you, because
you've lied to yourself, they understand it, they just choose to not
overpower their urges to take what they want.
Radiance
Added Sat May 29 22:32:00 2010 at level 41:
A steel-faced half-drow sits in the Lyceum, scrying through the large
arcane tome. His short red hair is wild, as he is too engrossed in his
readings to fix it. He finally comes to a section, and stops. His eyes
lie fixed on the section of the Plane of Radiance. After reading it
over, and thinking for a bit, he says "I must find a way to establish a
link." Erishmalin was definitely moved by reading that. The mastered
Elements includes one Quasi-Element, why not start research into a
second? To his reasoning, there must already be some sort of link
between paladins and it, because of their holy wrath. Even if it's
opened by the god they pray to, there still must be a way. Erishmalin
could leave his mark with this. He could leave a legacy for the
fortress, for future masters of the elements who lie within the light.
If he doesn't get that moment to show the gods his worth as an Acolyte,
he can give others that chance, in the future.
