Glad to see you again. Today I want to return to old days, when I was younger,
Sun brighter and the world was small, easy and colorful. Well... it is hard to
pick anything to start with: lots of happy memories filled my head. Still...
let's start with my parents. Dear Father, kind Mother... you never stopped or
restricted me and all of my various passions. Except the enforcement of my
reading and writing lessons and I am very grateful for that. I havent become
a writer nor I am an active reader, but that let me to discover in myself an
unpredictable, but very urgent need to write something. That helps me very
much to understand, to analyze or just to cry in waistcoat, in a moment of
sadness, or to share my moments of joy. And since I never show my "writings"
to somebody, I, for a long time already, speak with you, my fictional partner.
I have no close people, from the time I left home, except of, maybe, that
funny gnome Digrid, you are my most trusty friend, my close brother, my kind
sister.
But well, let's return to our muttons: my parents. Father had and armor shop
and mother was a seamstress. They gave me a lot of freedom, so I tried almost
everything our town could offer: practicing in fencing with my father, hunts
in forests with a member of tanner guild, tanning itself, "spying" and
"retrieving" with an old father's friend from thieves guild in Galadon. Once
I even decided to become a priest and managed to sit silent and calm whole
prayer (my last one) and many other things. I must admit was not really good
in anything, except fencing, that I love to practice even now in my current
Travels and, besides, found it very handy.
Time of an adulthood passed, but I found about myself only one thing for sure:
the borders of our small town too small for me. Seems my parents knew the same,
so when I decided to start this hard and inconvenient talk during the dinner,
my father granted me 10 gold coins and one of his best swords and my mother
presented me handmade backpack, simple, but durable set of cloth and her
blessing. Thank you, mom, dad, I am sure you are all right.
Here I say "bye" to you, my friend, as my short halt ended and I have to move
forward. See you soon.

Hello again, hope you have not got bored without me.
I continue my observations, but I've come to a dead end. Maybe I've chosen too
complex subject to understand. For the last month, none of what I've heard and
seen helped me to advance or get a hint. Frankly, I am quite depressed about
that, I've forgot that happy feeling when you discover something new. That of
course got an impact on my repertoire, people can rearly hear anything
positive from me.
But today I've got bracing news, that I am not alone, even more, there is a
strong organization, that shares my view and not only. They make moves to set
things in the world right. I will try to contact them as soon as I can, I am
sure that even one good companion, that walks the same path, will help me to
break the deadlock. So, please, wish me luck to find them!

Life outside of my homeland was not hard at all. With a bit of charm you can
allways get a job that provide you with a pie for dinner and a bed for a night
It was not a problem at all. The thing is: again, it was all the same. Lot's
of things I tryed, but found nothing that can be a "business of all my life".
That starts to bother me, actually I've first thryed the taste of "sadness"
and "unsatisfaction". To speak more straight, I am a bit dissponted. Leaving
home I was sure - the things would change.
But anyway, this fact not gonna make me less excited with upcomng festival! I
will show locals how our kind celebrate!

I wonder how much time have passed since I left that minstrel and started to
walk my own road? Well, let me think... Ah yes, two winters, I survived two
damn cold winters. I hope next one will touch me much more softly, getting
copper for a tavern have become a lot easier for me. So. For those two years
I've seen a lot. And more I see, the less happy I become. Wait, wrong word
I do happy and will be, until my legs will stop moving and people will no
more stop to listen to my ballads. But I have another feeling. "Unsatisfaction?"
Yep, this is it. I become less satisfied. I understood this huge mechanism,
designed by Gods, should be kept in Order. But I am not even close to
knowledge about how it works. I am gathering examples in peoples deeds, in
historical scrolls. But when I try to imagine me, making moves, trying to
balance the scales, all seems so fragile! Things recently went from simple
to complex.
Light and darkness. Any conflict between them bring many things, chaos, pain,
destruction of nature. I know, I speak abstract. Myself, I already replayed
a lot of past and invented scenarios. But to be clear, let me use simple
example: order of paladins decided to strike, grown in influence, dark sect
of necromancers. Light clashed with darkness and won the battle. But nothing
ended with death of mages. Paladins build fort there, burn trees, cut them,
blow mountains for stones, get close villages taxed and many more. This will
sooner or later provoke next conflict. And it is already impossible to
prognose the final result. And more complex question: where is my role there?
Should I interfere? Take any side? And when I should stop assisting?
Damn, I am thinking, thinking, thinking! With no result yet, but don't worry
I write that not to give up. And I knew this would work - cryed in your
jacket. And now I feel much batter and feel even more strength gathering
within me to move forward. See you, friend, don't get bored without me.
