Description
Standing before you is a tall, slender woman. She is
clothed in incandescent robes that emit a deep green
pulsating light that radiates out to an arm's length from
her body. The robes are tied at her waist by a thin, taut
golden rope that has arcane symbols burnt into it. The
robes stretch to the ground, covering her feet entirely
and form a train behind her at least five meters long.
The embroidery on the robe is exquisite and displays
all the symbols of greater virtue coupled with each
phase of the moon. Within her delicate hands is a
staff that is crackling with energy. It is topped by
an azure prism that reflects light out at all angles
in thick bands of pure energy.
Her hood trails off down her back to reveal a young,
lightly ebon-skinned face that gives away her heritage.
A soft purple hue envelopes her eyes that gaze out
calmly. Braided, black hair falls down each cheek and
settles just below her shoulders. Her features look
flawless however you notice a small trail of blood that
runs down from the left-hand side of her mouth.

Erzu was born to a human mother and drow father. She has
a twin brother however they were separated at birth. Her mother
was treated very poorly and seen as inferior due to her race.
Erzu's father took her twin brother away to raise him on his
for he would never allow him to be tainted by his mother.
As such, Erzu and her mother left the village where their family
had spent many years establishing themselves. They ended up
settling in Galadon and working tables at the Copeham Inn. The
innkeeper was very tolerant of Erzu as she grew up and often used
to allow her up on the stage to perform infront of a raucous crown.
There they remained for many years until one fateful day when
Erzu was nearly twenty years old. As fate would have it, Erzu's
father and twin brother were visiting Galadon and booked a
room at the Copeham Inn. They didn't recognize eachother
initially, however her mother, after serving them some alcohol,
picked up on a certain characteristic that the father used to do
when drinking. It was a twitch in his hand and often led to spilled
beer. No sooner than she noticed this, she turned around and
whisked Erzu away back to their room.

Erzu knew something was odd about the two men her mother
just served. So she snuck back down to the bar and eavesdropped
in on their conversation. She was shattered to find out that they
had joined the imperial ranks. As she watched them boast and
brag about their battles, she realized that they were no longer
family to her. She disowned them at that moment and wished
never to see them again.
The drow left the following day and with their leaving grew a
spark within Erzu to right the wrongs her family were committing.
She spoke to the innkeeper, who had as good as adopted her as
his own, and he started to train her into the art of warfare. He
would send her out into the silverwood at night to hunt goblin
raiders. Each time she would return and tell him of her success
or failures. Eventually he saw that she had grown into a mature
and methodical warrior of the light.
And with his blessing and guidance, he sent her off to the northern
foothills to find out more about the Holy Brigade of the Phoenix.
Mature Years

Erzu's path was been a winding one thus far. She was able to
prove herself with Captain Merelith and join as a squire in the
Holy Brigade. She puts this down to all the time she spent raiding
the goblins in the silverwood in her youth. This hones her
mentally and physically to take the front in the fight against the
darkness. However it has not all been smooth sailing.
Erzu now has a heavy heart and anquished soul due to a mistake
she made. It took her many years to come to terms with it. Before
she had learned the ways of the Golden Grimoire, she was in a fierce
battle. She was trying to cleanse the darkness from a foe. In fact
she was so entralled in the fight and she did not notice an innocent
come to watch the fight. In her haste, she threw a fireball hoping to
finally overcome the dark foe. She cannot describe the feeling when
she noticed the innocent was nothing more than a charred corpse
beside her. Such recklessness on her behalf has been difficult for her
to bear.
Fortunately the Lord of Light opened up for her a path to take such
that atonement can be reached and she can reach an internal state
of peace. She is endlessly thankful to the Acolytes that help guide
her and keep her from staying too far.
She now waits to prove herself a Maran before taking further steps
within the guild as an elemental master.
