Description
A maniacal laughter heralds the arrival of a diminutive
little figure skipping and tumbling along with complete
elation. This tiny whirlwind of energy halts abruptly
right in front of you and it becomes apparent that the
humanoid is a little girl of elven descent. She giggles
excitedly as she teeters on her tippy toes staring you
up and down as if eyeballing a toy. Her focus suddenly
transforms into a fixated wide-eyed crazed stare with
her bright blue eyes. Unkept ginger hair, wildly extends
out in all directions, giving her a deranged appearance.
Mix-matched articles of clothing have been sewn together
to form a crazy looking quilt that is draped across her
tiny frame. Lastly, two things seem to catch your eye of
interest. First, a small wooden sword dangles about her
hip. As it sways back and forth, you see some dried up
boogers smeared on its surface. Secondly, jutting out of
her left bicep, is a raggedly-fletched black arrow with
a gold tip. The flesh has sealed around the shaft and
keeping it in place, however her olive-hued tinged skin
has not healed around it and is a pustulous ebony color.

Oh!
Hi! I'm Feven!
I like to play ALL the time!
Oh! There is a sparrow!
I love skipping, jumping, tumbling, and singing like a bird!
Listen!
"Tweet! Tweet!"
I love playing birdy!
Silly looking things make me laugh and I like to laugh alot.
I don't like scary looking things.
Because they scare me silly!
But I will make fun of them. It makes me feel safe!
Making fun of things all around me is...
Fun!
It makes me feel good!
When Mother let me go, she left me with thirteen instructions.
1. Go have fun.
2. Go see the world.
3. Stay away from the cities. There are monsters there!
That's a daisy! I love daisies and pansies!
I think those were all the instructions! I lost count!
I don't like following rules! Maybe I made them up!
Rules are for bad people!
Bad people made the monsters behind the walls!
They scare me. But I'll poke their eyes out!
Did I say I like to have fun?
I know how to use my voice REAL good.
Watch!
Warble! Warble! Rooooooaaaaar!!!!

Where did I come from?
I told you silly! Mother let me go!
Wait!

What do you want from me!?!
The tapping...
Make it stop!

Backstory:
Feven is not your typical normal little wood-elf girl, she is in
fact not even a little girl. She is a sapling. Brought to Thera
by Imbessar, King of the Dead Star, as a tiny sprouted shoot from
the Great Tree of Yrn. The Great Tree, wishing to spread out her
branches to Thera and take root. Upon Imbessar's arrival, he was
beseiged by Marealee, she took the shoot for own twisted creations.
An unexpected occurence took place that Marealee did not anticipate.
In an attempt to use the plant to fuse her undead with the otherwordly
power stirring within, her foul nature magic caused the plant to begin
to sprout and grow. Not into a plant, but a child. The moon's light
glistened on the shoot as the tiny buds turned to arms, stem to torso
and head, and roots to legs. A worried look befell the witch-druid as
her foul magic had invigorated life within the shoot.
Suddenly, a beautiful melody filled the Witch Wood, as Marealee began
to sling curses in the air, running for the evolving plant child. As
she leapt to grab the child, a high pitched song began to echo from
within her catacomb. A flock of mockingbirds propelled forth in a
mighty torrent knocking over Marealee. They lifted the forming child
aloft the winds from their flapping wings and carried her off.
She lived and migrated with the birds, their flock now a total of
thirteen. They taught her the Theran tongue and how to speak with
the trees and creatures of nature. The mockingbirds named her Feven.
In the songbird tongue, it meant "Free". The trees and treants named
her Eilil, it meant "Trickster". And the children and beasts of the
forests, named her "Mockingwind". They all knew she was special and
they knew they were drawn together to protect her from what is to come.
Present:
Feven has begun to travel around Thera on her own. Everything is a
new experience for her. She does not know who she is or where she
comes from. In her mind she has created a guise that she was born
in Evermoon Hollow and raised as a wood-elf. Anyone meeting her will
think she looks of elven descent based on her features, but as time
passes both she and longtime companions will notice she is not aging.
Marealee's magic caused the plant to transform, but Feven will always
remain a sapling until she is actually planted and the ritual completed
by Imbessar, who is the only one with the knowledge to do so in Thera.
Until then, Feven is a wanderer and a mystery to all.

Psyche:
To say Feven is "special" is an understatement. She has been indwelled
with life and those energies magnifiying the childly passion flowing
forth from her. She is a very erratic and energetic child. Her "fun"
can change directions just as the wind. She likes to learn and play as
she experiences the big world around her.
And...
She is a nutcase.
Due to the twisted nature magic that caused her transformation and her
stuck being a child, her psyche has become fractured and is broken in
some ways.
Feven suffers from the following:
Uncontrollable Laughter.
Obsessive Compulsion.
Anxiety.
ADHD.
Aggressive Impulses. (Especially to those who try to control her.)
Nature:
Feven's time in nature and her link with the Great Tree has made
her entirely protective her "playground". Anyone causing harm of
disrupting her playground will have them on the wrong side of her
passion. Laughs, Life, and Fun. Are important to Feven. And she
find it within her home in the wilds. This has lead her to find
the Tree of Ages, drawn by the call of Thar-Eris and to awaken
the Ancients from their slumber.
Civilization:
Being a child, you never realize how scary the monsters are at the
edge of the woods. You would see them standing out beyond the trees.
Faceless figures, with glowing eyes, doing nothing but staring.
Feven saw the monsters, but never had parents to dismiss it as
overactive imagination, they were always there lurking. She grew
up with the mockingbird sheltered from the corrupt world beyond
the trees. Feven believes that the real monsters are those who
live within the confines of civilization and its her job to poke
their eyes out.
Religion & Gods:
Feven keeps seeing the thirteen everywhere. It began when she
became the 13th family member in the flock of Mockingbirds. As
time has passed, over and over this number has begun to show
itself. She is both intrigued and scared. Not knowing anything
of the Lucky Lord Whiysdan yet, until someone points it out to
her. Feven has a strange way of seeing the clouds form creating
the visage of the Immortals in the heavens. This has caused a
bit of havoc for her, as she has drawn the ire of the Goblin
Lord Skreenak for her making fun of him. She nows an arrow that
is stuck in her bicep and has failed to remove the corrupted
shaft from the bone, instead leaving the arrow fully intact as
a show of defiance and her freedom.
