Description
Streaming hair of radiant cerulean lies meticulously upon the inclined head
of the figure before you. Small yet pointed ears protrude slightly from the
hair, belying her elven heritage. Eyes of the deepest azure peer outward,
burning evenly as she stares back at you. Her thin lips portray a haughty
smirk. The very demeanor of this elf gives notice to a past nobility. Her
attire consists of fine armors and well-worn clothes. The thick sky-blue robe
appears to be inlaid with delicate patterns of woven silver. The shaft of a
thin but long rod protrudes over her left shoulder, remaining within easy
reach of her quick hand.
Role
First Meeting with Daevryn.
Added Wed Mar 18 18:56:50 2009 at level 51:
The Meeting
- introduced herself to the lord Daevryn at his Mansion
- discussed the things that shape and drive the young elf
- talked of how ambitions demand and are very purposed and that 'only by
excelling can even a noble soul better the world' so 'be not too ashamed of
selfishness'
The Plan
- earn a position of influence in the Village to exert greater focus on the
war against magic
- teach and convert others to the importance of dispatching magic through
history, stories, and notes
- continually challenge self in training and in tactics to wage the war
effectively
- ancient artifacts long lost to Thera may provide answers or means to
battling magic, thus, know and learn the past and wield this knowledge
The Challenge(s)
- find the hide of a beast somewhere within a tower in a forest of pine
- bear the ancient skull lost to tainted dwarves deep beneath the surface of
old
Exposition of Goodness and Magic.

My Exposition of Goodness and Magic penned to the Fortress.
Kinsmen - take notice.
Many of you remain unaware of the danger of magic. You wield it for a
greater purpose, of eradicating evil and ushering in a time of peace and
prosperity. But I warn you - magic is not a neutral force, ambivalent to the
work of its user. It is an awesome force of creation and destruction, the
remnant of selfish gods and creators. It is bent in the image of its
origination. It is power, kinsmen. Its use is not inconsequential. Far
from it.
The conflict of magic is ever clear. Always beckoning, tempting, the user to
drink further from the well of impending ruin. No mortal is a stalwart of
self-control to this unregulated power.
Therefore, I urge you, kinsmen, lay down your craft and remove the bondage of
magic and its artifacts. You strive for goodness but walk under the shadow
of the moon.
Flee from this evil. Otherwise, may a merciful death come quickly.
Firhindil.
Updates.

Updates
Battle Cabal
- earned a hut when Luggbok noticed a young Firhindil kill an anti-paladin
- chose to be a berserker to be most involved and proactive in dispatching
magic
- remains unsure about the acceptance of priests
- continually dismayed by the number of short-sighted and misguided goodly
magicians
Pride
- sees the unique facets of pride and how differently others serve it or it
serves them (Firhindil would argue that her pride serves her and makes her
better, refined)
- seeks the audience of a self-made man who ascended to Asgaard, Daevryn, to
understand his teachings
Guild
- studied the spear, the staff, and hand-to-hand combat in the warrior guild
- anticipates learning from the monks of Macalla to study foes and arm
herself with unique and exotic weapons
Background, Sphere, and Magic.
Added Mon Dec 29 19:29:16 2008 at level 24:
Background
- maidservant to a minor noble house in Darsylon
- dissatisfied with station in life, tired of expectations, disdainful of
glass ceilings and being held back
- left home to craft her own image over the one born into
- a warrior for strength, cunning, and visibility (she does not operate
concealed)
Pride
- what is deserved is earned
- what is undeserved is lost
- image is important
- a truthful and honest word is expected, less is demeaning to all parties
- there is no prize worthy through subterfuge
- respect those of true power and influence but do not hesitate to
challenge any and all
Magic
- sees magic as an absolute but corrupting power (because unregulated
power corrupts)
- it is not for mortals, it is the harbinger of ruin
- magic is inherently evil, even when wielded by good or used for good
intentions
- the death of even a good magi, though saddening, is merciful in its
prevention of future ruin and decay
- the power of priests through deities is nothing but regulated (limited
by empowerment) magic and still deserving of concern
