Description

Ugly doesn't even begin to describe the heaving sallow- skinned chunk of meat before you. Short and thickset, he is disproprotionately broad with bow legs and long arms that can almost reach the ground. Spirals of smoke fume out of his flat nose behind which are blood-red slant eyes that twitch with menace and malice. Two long, yellow fangs jut upwards from his bottom jaw ready to tear flesh from bone. His taste for human meat is obvious with a war-belt fashioned from many rotting scalps. All down his right arm is black, burned skin with open, weeping wounds. Etched horizontally into his right arm, leaving bulbous scar-tissue, are the letters "F L A G I T".

Role

Early Life, Part I

******************** Early Life, Part I **********************

Flagit was born an identical twin to brother Ragit during
the reign of Chieftain Tegerek. Despite being exactly the
same, Flagit completely dominated his brother with endless
bullying and harassment. At feeding time, Flagit would order
Ragit to stay out of the mess hall as Flagit ate, then Flagit
would exit and return, pretending to be Ragit to get his
second fill. Eventually this prolonged bullying would leave
Ragit notably weak and malnourished. So much so that the
clan shaman uncovered the plot and employed a solution to
it. Etching their names vertically into their right arms
with a hot poker.

Flagit and Ragit both worshipped Chieftain Tegerek religiously.
So when a raid of Maran from the Fortress assaulted the clan
in a crusade to kill Tegerek and Tremblefist, the twins took
to the front line with spears in hand to defend. Ragit was
killed almost instantly and then trampled on by the approaching
maran party until he was little more than goo in the trenches.
Flagit survived slightly longer, past the first wave but he
was hit by a flaming arrow as the second wave approached. His
entire left arm was set alight and he passed out from the pain.

Early Life, Part II

Added Sat Apr 4 08:22:22 2020 at level 37:
******************** Early Life, Part II **********************

As he lay unconscious, with his horde being slaughtered all
around him, an acolyte noticed life still within Flagit and
smuggled him away from the battle, hoping to rehabilitate under
false belief that all creatures can find redemption. Flagit woke
the next day, bound to a bed, with the acolyte tending his wounds.
Flagit may lack intelligence but he is as cunning as any. He
feigned redemption for a few weeks, until the acolyte was
comfortable enough to loosen the bindings. Completely lulled
into a feeling of success, the acolyte was then quickly skinned
alive by a much rejuvenated Flagit and he scampered off back
to the clan.

Upon returning to the clan, he found out that Chieftain Tegerek
had survived but Tremblefist and most of the other orcs had
died. Flagit now rages with an inner fury but is cunning enough
to mask this rage. He seeks complete and total annihilation of
the Fortress above all else.

Changing of Chieftains

Added Thu Apr 9 02:19:44 2020 at level 50:
****************** Changing of Chieftains *********************

Not long after Flagit returned from his captivity, Chieftain
"Teg" Tegerek became noticibly frail. No longer would Teg lead
raiding parties against Akan and Voralian City, he would be
confined to his Throne. He was barely seen for the last month
of his life. It wasn't until Tremblefist lit the smoking pillars
that the Clan knew they had lost their leader. Teg was worshipped
and feared by all orcs and goblins alike. There were few who
could take his place as Chieftain. Flagit knew he stood no
chance as a grunt.

Days turned into weeks turned into years. The Clan was leader-
less and weakened until from out of nowhere, an orc impressed
Tremblefist enough to be promoted. Warlord Opkagut was to become
Chieftain Opkagut. The smoking pillars were lit and the ceremony
complete. Flagit was not impressed. Chieftain needs to be earned
with blood. Warlord against Chieftain, winner takes all. Opkagut
was just the beneficiary of Teg's supreme dominance over the
Clan. Flagit didn't like this one bit. Flagit knows a challenge
is on the horizon to find the Clans true Chieftain!
