Description
A gnarled and grizzled dwarven sage stands before in the armor of a crusader
knight. Dented plate, and bold cracks that have been seared shut are a tell
tale sign of numerous battles. A seasoned veteran of numerous battles this
dwarf stands ready for almost anything. His spiked armor is a patent of his
dwarven heritage, which he wears with pride even though most of his kind
would mock him for his choice in profession. His thick black mane flows
freely down his neck, his bear on the other hand is trimmed back and tucked
under his chin by a pearl comb. The dwarf crusader looks about with his
brilliant blue eyes, taking in the world around him. There is a fury in them
reserved for any that would dare threaten those that he has sworn to protect.

You bloody well want to do what? A crusader for the light huh lad? Well I
want be the queen of the flaming pixies, ya see me doing much of that?
Hardly the words any young lad wants to hear when claims the path of paladins
as his own. Yet with this stern blessing his clan turned his back on this
dwarf. As a child of mortorn Forsk learned well of the dangerous balance
between the light and the dark and the cost in life and innocence when the
balance tipped in the favor of the dark. To brave life in the war torn
undercity sense of duty and courage is instilled in each child of the clan. A
lesson that was not lost on young Korsk, yet he sees the battle for more than
most in the xenophobic city see it. He understands the consequences of the
duergar victory in Mortorn, the fall of the kingdoms of dwarves, the duergar
raid of the Voralian Jewel. This child of courage understands what would
happen if the world is not strengthened against the darkness that continues
to spread. As of Mortorn, its fate is already sealed, nothing in the world
can stop the duergar now that they have a foothold in the deepest of its
halls. Dwarven ingenuity and engineering has assured atleast that much. The
halls were designed to thwart any attackers from the outside, and the
duergars who took the underhalls have turned that very ingenuity and
spectacular feat of engineering against the dwarves. No the fight for the
light would be fought on the surface, amongst the kingdom of men and the
like. And It has taken a monumental test of courage for a dwarf to walk away
from that fight to serve the light in a war which is infinitely more
important.
Of duty and courage

It has been some years since he was accepted into the fort as a squire. The
blessings that have been given to him by the White lion have served him well
over the years. And yet his promise remains unfulfilled. The Lords of the
Fortress remain quiet. Undeterred and ever vigilant this paladin of Guerric
continues to keep the word he has given. Where success in one field has been
somewhat lacking, he has found himself truly blessed by his lord. To wear the
mark of the Great White Lion for the first time in some hundreds of years has
been a pleasure and an honor for Forsk Ironhorse. As he progesses slowly in
his guild, his iron resolve becomes harder still. The darkness that was known
in thera has taken a stronger foothold still. Bastions of order and chaos
alike now bend to a darker will. The Blood tribunal often ruled by
darkhearts, many of the outlanders as well give over to their baser selves.
In crazed world seemingly determined to undo itself a desperate does the only
sane thing he can, he strives to change the world one fight at time. With
courage in heart he dutifully follows the soft light of the White Lion
through life. The fight is already beginning to take its toll on him, as his
health slowly begins to wane Forsk Ironhorse fervorously prays to the White
Lion and to the Lords of the fortress. Hoping the fight he has made his own
will accept him.
