Description
A massive, brutish giant stands here. His frame towers above all others
near him and several of the roofs of the buildings nearby. Deep sea-foam
green eyes peer out from under silvery eyebrows. His hair flows softly off of
his massive head and cascades down to the middle of his back. A bushy,
silver beard adorns his strong chin. A bulbous nose fills the space between
his silver moustache and his eyes. His titanic arms hold aloft equally massiv
swords. Steel blue skin covers the exposed areas of his body. Tree truck legs
are covered in thick armor that seems to be well mended. His large chest is
covered in similarly well-kept armors.

Morning. The light shines calmly through the hazy waves of the Aryth Ocean as Garonav rises from his bed roll. As his young, strong body is accustomed he works on readying his mind for the training to begin before the time to break
his fast. First a run on the bottom of the ocean, Ten miles as the sailors view them should be good. Then to weight training and sparring with Korolash, the master. Unbeknownst to Garonav though, this day would be different. It was
a calm spring day, a slight chill in the sea about him, but the sun's rays were banishing it fast.
As Garonav stepped out into the light from his hut he noticed Korolash vigorously coming toward him. "Come with me Garonav!" Korolash blurted out without even a hello or good morning. Quickly, Garonav caught up with the
older giant. "You have been chosen for something that has not happened in quite some time." Korolash stated as the hurriedly walked to Korolash's office. As they entered, Garonav was greeted by a dwarf, seemingly not very happy
to be under the waves, and an elf in flowing robes.
"Be 'is tha boy Korolash?" the dwarf questioned as the master giant nodded his head. The dwarf stomped over and began looking Garonav over. While doing so, Korolash asked in is normal, authoritative tone, "Garonav,
state what it is that drives you." "A single, burning desire to bring justice to the wicked, protection to the innocent, and the light to all that seek it!" Shouted Garonav. The dwarf, rather pleased looked back at Korolash. "Aye, yer
seem ta be runnin' a fine school here Korolash. Tha world needs more soldiers o'tha light like 'is biggun" Said the dwarf. Korolash requested that he and Garonav be given a moment to speak.
As the dwarf and his elven companion walked out, Korolash explained that they were emissaries from the Fortress of the light, coming to see how the school has done. "You my boy, are to travel out with them this day to go on to be
that which you have trained all your life for. A feisty little one you were and we have successfully taken that fight and turned it toward the proper target. Do not let anyone tell you that your struggle to bring justice to the wicked
is too over-zealous. This is what the light needs to combat the ever growing tides of the tainted. Show them what a true warrior of the light can be!"
Excitement grew in Garonav's chest, he quaked with the adrenaline coursing through his veins. It was time to show the world what he could do for the light.

The warm morning rays of the dawn shown through the small window near Garonav's
bunk. As he lay there he contemplated the words of his Lord. Ignolmeer had
answered his prayer and came to speak with him about Justice and the way that
the Lord had viewed it.
The ancient Lord's view were insightful and enlightening to Garonav. He had been taught to view his war with the tainted as the way to bring justice, but while Ignolmeer had agreed, he also showed his holy wisdom in teaching
Garonav about the smaller forms of justice that are sometimes taken for granted. Like the example of the farmer that the Lord had mentioned. It made sense to Garonav, now pondering this comment while resting in his bunk, that
those things he and the others of the light view as right are in and of themselves small forms of justice.
With his newly found knowledge Garonav felt that perhaps it is time that he finds others who follow Lord Ignolmeer and learn of their views as well. With that last thought, Garonav shook off the last cobwebs of sleep and began
to prepare for his patrol.
