Description
The greasy form of a black-skinned duergar emanates a putrid smelling odor.
He has a thick, black beard that shines with a sickly wetness like rotting
black moss despite it looking quite stiff and rigid hanging off his face.
Cracked, bleeding lips form a look of cruel disgust on his face as yellowed
teeth shine from his mouth. A terrible burn on his right cheek gives him a
repulsive and slightly disformed appearance. His thick forearms and broad
shoulders hint at a very capable strength dormant in his stocky and well
muscled body. Dressed in a mixture of leather and spiked metals, he is no
friendly looking creature. He has an off-putting stare that lingers far too
long at anyone curious enough to catch his glance. One might mistake him for
a dirty vagrant, but that would be too kind; this guy looks like he eats
dirty vagrants when he's not busy disturbing farm animals with unwanted
advances. Looking closely, you see . . .
Role
50 Shades of Sheep

Long ago, a farmer took in a disturbed orphan boy as a field hand, thinking
he could help straighten the child out with old fashioned elbow grease and
gumption. All the monks insisted they perform an exorcism on the child first
but the farmer was not a religious man and didn't believe in that sort of
thing. "What a fool", they would all say about the farmer behind his back.
The demon child was black of skin, stocky, and very strong. In the beginning,
the bales of hay were getting moved, the pig poop was getting shoveled, but
the sheep were very fearful. Sheep are alway sort spooked easily, thought
the farmer, and the hard labor was getting done so he thought nothing of it.
But that was only the beginning. Months went by and suddenly, sheep began
going missing. Was it wolves? Coyotes? Bears? Alwas during a red moon too,
and the oddness of it gave the farmer an uneasy feeling. I'll keep watch
tonight and see if any of the herd go missing, thought the farmer.
So he stayed up late and as the witching hour approached a thick fog rolled
in over the pasture. That is when the shrieks started. "OOOH YEAH!" a voice
cried out. "THAT'S HOW I LIKES IT! OH!" the voice continued.
In between chants, the bleats of a sheep along with an odd rhythmic thumping
drummed on.
GHARTUVO!

What is going on? Thought the farmer to himself, I better go have a look. He
walked down to the pasture from his hiding place and went for the source of
the noise. To his shock, a horrifying sight was there before him; the robed
figure of a red-skinned man having his way with a sheep. As the man
went on with his business, the sheep began to glow bright before bursting and
showering the field with fine ashes. "Damned!" screamed the robed sheep
shagger. "Oh, what's this?" turned the figure looking to the farmer.
"Look here, fella, you're the one killing my sheep, arn't ya! You're gonna
pay for that sheep, you hear!" said the farmer raising a wooden club. The
robed man grinned a wide, impish smile and snapped his fingers saying
"GHARTUVO" and the farmers chest exploded, sending his limbs flying across
the pasture. "Keep the change," said the robed figure smirking to himself.
"NO! PAPA!!" bellowed a deep and angry voice, sending a shiver up the robed
mans spine. He turned quickly to find the voice and discovered a pitch-black
child charging him holding the severed arm of the farmer, still holding the
wooden club with a deathgrip.
Blood Moon Vengeance

With a vicious *THUD* the robed man tumbled to the ground as the wind was
knocked out of him with a tackle. This child meant business. Soon, the
child was on top of the man, sitting on his chest and wielding the forearm
gripping the club. Hammering down on the magi, each blow was directed at the
robed mans forehead or temple as his arms raised to defend the flurry of blows.
Between hits, the red-skinned man attemped to raise his hand and barely got
out the word "GHAR" before the next blow came and knocked the words out of
his mouth.
"GHAR-" *CRACK* came the next blow as the robed man raised an arm in protest.
"Ghar-" *CRACK* came the next blow.
"Ghaar-" *CRACK* came another.
"ghar-" *CRACK* and another.
*CRACK* came the last giant blow and the robed mans right eye fell from
the socket as blood pooled beneath his head, the final words slurred from his
mouth, "gharrrrrr" quickly turned to gurgles of blood and finally death.
The child stared down at the convulsing heap of red flesh beneath him and
all was silent in the pasture, even the lambs. Later, he would bury what
remained of the farmer, set the magi corpse on fire, and take off into the
nearby swamp with whatever supplies he could put together. The farmers
neighbors would come to check on him the next day only to find the farm empty
and a hole of loose soil filled with body parts. They would go on to blame
the death of the farmer on the boy, claiming they all warned the farmer and
what a shame it was, sending guards out to look for the boy to pay for his
crimes. The child stayed in hiding for a number of years in complete solitude.
Always he muttered those words with lust for mage blood.
"Ghar."
"GHAR."
"GHAAAAAAAAAARRRRR!"
Summary
Added Wed May 16 11:16:54 2018 at level 11:
Alignment: Ghar is a brutal and savage man who has a strong distrust of the
law, magi, and anyone who doesnt agree with him. He has a strong lust for
blood that cannot be sated with killing, but he kills often anyway. He may
have a soft spot hidden deep inside for a father figure, but he's built up
such a strong, careless, and cruel facade few would want to get near him to
have a conversation.
Disposition: He keeps to himself and is sort of a loner, as he's lived most
of his life. Being a duergar orphan boy, he overheard many people in a
position of authority trying to control his life for him. There was only one
person in his life who treated him as an equal, but they were murdered and
since then he maintains the cruel, evil, and greedy facade people expect
from him.
Religion: Ghar wants nothing more to give in to his evil lust for blood and
in searching for an entity to fill the void in his heart he appreciates the
teachings of Morius to bring fulfillment to his life. He is not a very vocal
person as far as preaching goes, but he was always told actions speak louder
than words. So he's going to try to act very strongly to get his point across
with the business end of a mace.
Cabal: The one person in his life he actually liked was killed by a magi, so
there's no surprise he wants to kill every last mage in the world. He will
aim to join the BattleRagers to focus his vendetta against mages with brutal
retribution.
