Description
A black feathered arial, with features of a raven, stands nearly
seven feet tall. Long majestic wings flap softly keeping him afloat.
Glossy beady black eyes pierce through his avian shaped helmet. A sharp
long beak lay on his humanoid face. The frame of his body is like of
most his kin, with his muscles being extremely well shaped and toned.
Hardened leather armor protects him, allowing him swift and agile movement.
Looking closer to the inside of his flapping wings, one there are shimmers of
beautiful amethyst lighting. As you look closer you find that each feathery
part has this same purple gleam like a tribal tattoo covering his body.

Chapter 1
Added Wed Apr 19 20:51:06 2017 at level 15:
Ghekthir Tyr'Arinti was the name I held, living in nobility within Ayr'Trinil.
I was training to become one of the dark guards at the age of 13, to someday
become a captain of the guard. I was taught the ruthlessness of battle, and how
the guards were mere brutes more than anything, but those who controlled the
guards, had much political sway. This was my course set by my family, as they
wished more power within the city.
I grew with a strong physique, which went nicely for the preparation I was
undergoing. I had a strict regimine to of training that kept me fit both in
mind and spirit. The one thing I lacked, that most guards had, was that sheer
attitude of brutality and force. I was not one who carried such thoughts with
me, though I was not ignorant in such idealism's of kindness either. It wasn't
till I came home from a long day of training, that my rage and hatred began to
arise in me.
It was a normal day, routine like normal, I'd train and study and keep my body and
my combat skills honed. As the day turned to night, I made my way home on that
dark night, as a storm began to brew. As I made it to the upper levels, where my
family had lived, the storm began to crash down vigorously. Raindrops, as heavy as
stones, lightning as bright as the sun, and thunder clashing like the gods fighting
amongst each other. I arrived to my door, and saw the hinges broken. The home was
dark, but with each flash of lightning, I could see the blood splatter on the walls
and floors. My father and mother lay dead on the floor, their entrails laying beside
them. The home was a wreck, furniture broken to pieces, laying all about.
A scream! I hear as my sister calls out, I run to the room where she beckens, as I see
blood squirting out of her throat. Two of the dark guards watched, grinning maliciously,
as the blade slit cleanly through her neck. Quickly I ran up and pushed one guard aside
forcing him into the wall, then disarmed the other of his weapon, quickly decapitating
him. The other was staggering, as the air left his body after the impact against the wall.
I ran up to him as he drew his blade and quickly dodged his swing and ended up gutting him
as the blade went straight through his abdomine.
It was then that I felt only hatrid in my heart, and that what I felt was a relatively
peaceful society, was nothing but a fight for power, always trying to raise up to more.
This political agenda, to have more power was brought on by civilization and that I must
destroy the very essence of such non-sense and elimiate the impurities of the world. I found
my cause across my journeys when hearing word of the Refuge, as I knew their fight would align
with mine and soon the fight to eliminate civilization began. From this day, I called myself
Ghek Ravenstorm.
Chapter 2, Revelation
Added Wed Apr 19 20:57:21 2017 at level 15:
After I had left the city, I wondered alone, scavenging for food where ever I could.
I lived in the wilderness, off the land as best I could, though I am young and still
had much to learn. I came across a druid, preaching the words of Jormyr. I was so intrigued
by such thoughts that I questioned him, and what he told me about Jormyr, I
connected with so vibrantely. I connected to his passages about Jormyr's power of
the storm, especually as the traumatizing memories of my family entered my
mind, with that terribly powerful and stormy night. I knew then that I would follow this God's
teaching and bring change and destruction to what I held so hatefully in my heart.
Chapter 3, The fire of Ghek
Added Fri May 5 23:49:24 2017 at level 51:
It's not been too many years since I've become a reaver, but
I have learned a lot. I have lost some of my kind, and gained new ones.
I look at the refuge, it was scavaging barely but it has come to fruit.
I've witnessed a Harbinger arising, and the Sunwarden is old, yet the
branch of the reaver has yet to be taken.
I am in my middle age now, growing older as the time comes and if the
ancients would see it, I would become the nightreaver. The ones that
quench themselves in the fire of the reaver, have none to guide them in the path
of staying true to Thar-Eris and the other branches, while destroying our enemies.
The refuge needs our branches unified not with our differences, but with our cause to
awaken the ancients and bring back Thar-Eris to the state where she is no longer in pain.
I seek to become the nightreaver, but will I even be considered such to the ancients if
I haven't found my instincts? I contemplate this but I will not hold back my ambitions
towards such and will continue to burn civilization to the ground, spreading the destruction of
Jormyr, till I do!
Chapter 4, Understanding the Refuge
Added Tue May 9 12:05:33 2017 at level 51:
Some might think that ones views in life keep them seperated.
The refuge has three branches that seperate us, but I have learned
without the three branches, the tree could not be complete. The
reavers, burn the cities, insight plague and venom to the taint of
civilization. The wardens are the ones who plant the seed of life, to
nourish Thar-Eris. Those who follow the path are the wilder that
bridge the connection of the reavers death and venom, to the life
and nourishment of the Wardens.
The ancients draw on all of our powers to wake them up, and without
each other, we would not win the war. I am not one to hold moral
obligations over the cause of awakening the ancients and while
spilling the blood of an elven guard satisfies me just a bit more, I
would not direct such desires to any of the tree. If we are unified,
no matter our moral obligations, we are stronger and I'd rather a warden hate me
less than that of an elven conjurer as we live for the same goal.
This does not mean that I will be weak to the Wardens or those under the Harbinger
branch, I will lead the reavers to understand that we will respect their cause
and that their life is still more important than our own hatrid to the light.
And if it suits the ancients, aiding a Warden or the Grey, will be
something we do not shy away from.
By Jormyr's furious wrath, and the storm of destruction, we will burn
the cities down, and allow the others to nourish the lands as the fires settle,
the ashes blow away, and Thar-Eris can take life in the rubble.
