Description

With longish brown hair streaked in red, hanging to just beyond her shoulders, the human woman before you is quite attactive. Her large eyes dominate the smooth skin of her face. The eyes can be described as deep, with their dark brown color and long lashes. She wears becoming clothes and has a fit build. She is slightly taller than average, but well proportioned to where it is hard to notice until standing just next to her.

An only child, Greae was raised in with a good life in a good house in
Voralian City. She had little hardship to face with no danger to deal with
and no lack for a comfortable living. As she grew older, the easy life the
had always had goaded at her, she felt guilty for the blessings she had
always had, and often looked in the direction of the nearby Fortress of
Light, and yearned for a life that they led, helping those in need and
stamping out evil where it lay. Much to the chagrin of her parents, she left
home soon after coming of age. She felt that it was her duty to answer the
call of the light that she was raised in, and leave the shelter of her home
to go out and seek it. She was well educated, and planned to make the use of
the general instruction of the arcane, conjuration in particular, and seek
out her own way in life to give others the life she was given from the
outset.

Passion for Duty

Since leaving home with her heart set on joining the Fortress as a squire,
Graea was reminded once and again of the hardship that lay before her. Her
father when she was leaving home, in her interview with Mirshia, the Captain
Mizfara, all pointed this out to her and asked if she was willing to face
these difficulties. She wholeheartedly stated that she was, and now finding
herself bruised, battered, and nearly naked after being ambushed by a
opportunistic orc with a dark healer for an apparent pet, her mind wandered
back to what seemed an eternity ago now, with those who warned her the path
she chose would be hard.
They were right, and she didn't understand the half of it. There were
hardships, frustrations, trials, and challenges that she never could have
fathomed. Enemies at every turn, assaulting the Fortress itself, it was never
ending....but she loved it. Not the fighting, not the fact that there was a
need for the Fortress in the first place, she loved to be making a
difference. She still felt odd, putting herself close to the taint of evil
and doing all she could to face it, to push it back, so that others did not
have to, but it quenched the passion in her heart and soul to be live the
life of the Pheonix and all the others who came before her in the fight to
protect the Light, and hold back the darkness until those who were consumed
by it could be saved from it as well.
She knew that she still had much to learn. She was very comfortable in the
arts of conjuration, at least in the portions of it she was willing to learn,
but she still felt she could do more in her life as a squire, and hopefully
continue down the path of joining the Maran. She heard the reports of
successful action against evil, enemies fallen, the Codex secured, as well as
the Scepter, and in preparation for the same accomplishments, she worked to
defend the Fortress itself from those who would take back their items of
evil, or worse yet, those who sought the Orb.

Dusting herself off and standing, she thinks about the days ahead, and the
goals laid out before her. Beyond finding ways to retain new gear for battle,
she looked ahead to the path that would lead to her becoming a Maran, and the
ways she could improve herself in the fights she faced. She also felt an
emptiness that had started small, but has grown in heart heart. An emptiness
that she felt all the more when she spoke with the priests of Light she loved
so much, one that spoke to her in a way that suggested than instead of living
under the sway of all Gods of Light, she might find more fullness in taking
the teachings of one into her heart fully, until the emptiness inside was
filled, and joined with the passion she felt.
