Description
The sow before you stands remarkably straight despite the gravity of her fat
breasts attempting to drag her down. Remarkably short for an orc, she
appears completely hairless except for a filthy wig formed of elf-hair that
must have once been lustrous, large locks shorn off by errant blades. Tusks
jut upwards from her pronounced underbite, the chiselled jaw of this orc a
caricature of an elven knight's. Jaundiced yellow eyes flit around her
surroundings on high alert. Wide hips and thick legs compared to wiry arms
betray that her preferred exercise appears to be running instead of
lifting heavy objects.

Born a breeding sow of the Grinning Skulls, Greldra, like many orcs, longed
for more. Avaricious, she acquired a fixation as - while hiding in one of the
orc-holes in the village - she witnessed a paladin slaughtering his way
through the village, at the head of the heavenly Fortress host, to retrieve
the orb from Tremblefist. Enthralled by the way all of his companions followed
all his orders, she decided she wanted to be a knight 'like' him. To be an
inspiration, and a leader of orcdom, defiling and recreating all in her
path..except they're also incredibly cowardly, moreso than most orcs, and wish
to be the cheerleader leading from the back and taking all of the credit. The
clash between the desire to be honorable and feared and respected and the
nature that would lead them to being a skrugga orc has led them to openly
worship Kreeshtrike the Seer with the intent to defile the 'art' of paladinry
and bring something similar to the Grinning Skulls - a warleader! a marshal! -
while subconsciously embodying Tinkthruk's cunning.
What does an orc covered in despoiled, 'holy' armor, wielding a shining sword
and banner of war, look like? If Greldra becomes strong, that's what the
Grinning Skulls are going to find out. She wants to recreate a knightly order
of her own right there in the filth, to become a plague upon Thera in the name
of the Seer, Kreesthrike.
Orc Gods Not Real?!
Added Tue Nov 22 15:09:27 2022 at level 35:
In her ascent towards skrugga-dom, Greldra has been meticulous about
attempting to not piss off as many possible allies as possible, because an orc
needs a BIG ARMY to be a BIG PALLY-DAN KNIGHT like the pally-dan knights she
sees with all kinds of races following her. She wants to be BIG WAR LEADER
too, so naturally she has to prove she can work with other people. Having
indebted an invoker to her by letting the spire-birdy Chiresh train on a
healer she practiced her weaponwork on, she looks forward to getting some
practice dodging spells from them. A fire giant of the Empire, although
continually calling her a slave [which she presently is and has no illusions
that she isn't], has been useful to her as well, giving her equipment and aid
in gaining in rank. Funnily enough, she thinks she has convinced the fire
giant to worship Uuhrto. He seemed to really like the idea of GRASP, CLIMB,
CRUSH, and she supposes the Empire was all about that anyway.
The chief has said that the Commander of the Village is a good slave, so she
tries to keep in good with the Battleragers. However, one of them tried to
snatch her birdy, so she tried to attack the svirfneblin and got absolutely
rocked. Fleeing in fear, she determines not to fuck with ragers again, out of
pure cowardice.
More importantly, though, the chief has said that the orc gods to whom she is
so devoted *are not real.*
How the hell could a chief become chief while saying Uuhrto isn't real? she
wonders. Whatever this Thrakbozurg was, he sure didn't seem to be in the
living memory of any of the other orcs except maybe Tremblefist. To her, this
seems to be a sign of weakness. She needs to devote the tribe to the Seer, and
most importantly, to *her*, when she's strong enough to challenge him.
Update
Added Mon Dec 26 01:02:24 2022 at level 50:
Greldra had challenged the chief and failed, being under the impression that
her sword talks to her, urges her to honor, to act like Bal-Grimmer would.
Schizophrenically insane in this fashion, she was devastated by the perceived
lack of blessing she had from the Orc Gods to kill Nunthdhrag, the blaspheming
atheist. She resigned to grovel like a good orc should and try to slowly
gather equipment to make another challenge. In a strange twist, after a failed
excursion - for most things Greldra does fails, honestly - Enorgol, the chief
and her were stuck in the Underdark, in a cave so small they couldn't escape
whichever way they went. No one had any reduce potions!
Greldra prayed to Kreesthrike and Nunthdhrag prayed to Thrak and Kreesthrike
showed up, eventually being orc salvation for all three thanks to sacrificed
holy relics to desecrate and recreate. Obviously shaken, the chief went to
sleep after saying he had to 'fink about fings' so Greldra is a lot happier
now that he's not tempting fate and the destruction of the tribe by denying
the Gods.
Usually complaining incessantly to inspire pity for herself, she even seems to
be starting to catch her stride, killing Athald twice in one day! That's
incredible! Her morale is massively improving, and she intends to keep
fighting and scraping and scavenging for whatever piece of divine attention
she can gather, continuing to fight for the orc gods as a 'pally-dan'.
