Description

A short gnomish figure stands before you. Grembelis stands at your typical gnomish height, which is to say short at 3 feet. He has snow white hair, neatly trimmed, and a long white beard hanging from his chin to his belt. He has rosy red cheeks which stand out from his pale white skin, and small ears that slightly stick out from the sides of his head. He has small almond shaped eyes that peer back at you with bright blue pupils. His nose is also small, but overall, his face has a cherib look to it.

Promotions and Demotions

Time.  Lots and lots of time I have had on my hands down here in
Seantryn Modan.  Lots has happend leading up to my demotion to this
city.  Finally taking the steps from the Vorlian City to Hamsah, and
continuing on to my home: Galadon.

All was going well.  I was learning my spells, gaining access to the
final spells the guild teaches within the elements, and even having some
success with the elements I struggle with.  It was going well, until that
attack on the spire, and the one slip.

Me forgetting to place a warrant on a criminal, and then attacking that
criminal in town.

I was wrong, I admit.  Nothing can be taken for granted, and all must
be done in the proper steps.  No shortcuts can be taken.  There are no
exceptions.  As with my promotions, came the demotion to Seantryn.
Better that than the alternative.  At least this way I can still serve
that which I love, and work myself back to the position I was before.

A promotion

Grembelis has worked hard, gaining access to the higher magics of his
craft, all the while watching over the quiet city he was assigned to.
In fact, he has even gotten a promotion, to Vorlain city as well, to
watch over and guard the citizens of that city.

He has also learned some about the rarer magics and how to access them
as well.  He has travelled to places that he has only heard of in bedtime
stories, and seen creatures wrought out of nightmares.  All the more,
increasing his thirst of learning all that he can, so that the knowldge
that he learns, he can share with other magistrates, making the spire
all the much more stronger, to deterr even most would-be criminals.

Working towards progress

Already Grembelis is growing close to his goals.  Slowly, he has been
climbing through the ranks of his guild, painstakingly perfecting the
necessary spells to gain the insight needed to the more powerful elemental
magics.  He has learned two things: first that he holds a hidden love
for the element of fire, the spells seemingly coming to him naturally.
The second being that the elements of Ooze and Earth he truely struggles
with.  He knows mastery with those two elements will be long in coming.

And a day of Celebration as well!  His application to become a Magistrate
was approved, and he has begun his duties of overseeing the city of
Seantryn Modan!  Even though he must practice his magics outside the
city, he tries to balance his duties with his studies.

Growing up

Grembelis was born in Hillcrest, but soon after his parents earned a
job as advisors to the mayor of Galadon.  Thus Grembelis spent his time
wandering the streets of Galadon, and enjoying a healthy childhood.  His
parents, belonging to the invoker guild themselves, soon gave him a
thirst for elemental magics, and a unquenchable need to learn new things.
Thus, his application to the invoker guild had begun.

Life was good to Grembelis.  He enjoyed the safety of the city, enforced
by the laws.  And behind those laws, the spire, his heros.

And so, he sets out, seeking three things.  To rise and gain his final
title within the guild, to gain knowldge about thera and the magics that
it contains, and to join the Tribunal, so that others may enjoy the peace
and safety he has enjoyed.
