Description
At four feet tall and nearly as wide there is almost no mistaking this stout
man's heritage. The thick and well groomed beard hanging down to his waist
removes any doubt. His straight shoulder length hair is a rich chestnut
color that is only a shade lighter than his facial hair and bushy eyebrows.
His features are angular and give his face the appearance of a perpetual
scowl. His armors and clothing lack any ornamentation. Everything about him
denotes a lack of luxury and more concern with necessity. The penetrating
gaze of his dark brown eyes roves about himself unwavering.
Role
Gremnosh's teachings

Raised by only his mother from the time he was a baby, Gremnosh did not have
a childhood common among his kin. Every day from the time he could
understand her words, was spent with her passing on the wisdom and errors of
their almost extinct clan.
Clan Farghren. Their clan was a true war clan.Every dwarf of it, lived in
the spirit of war. Their entire lives consumed with preperation and
executing their training when it was needed down to the last child. The
hordes of the underdark who had felt the sting of their attacks banded
together to put an end to their fear of this might clan. Using Clan
Farghren's pride, overconfidence, and rage against them, they sent a small
contingent to strike them in their homes and retreat to the underdark. The
entire clan took up arms and chased them down, only to find themselves in an
ambush of unheard of preportions. They fought bravely and took many with
them.
Gremnosh's mother could not join them, as she had just recently given birth
to Gremnosh and was not fit. Seeing the error of her clan, and what led to
their demise she instilled in Gremnosh this wisdom.
When she knew he was ready, and her time was drawing near, she instructed him
to reach the surface, find a true war clan of the Light, and do not let a day
pass that his strenght is not found destroying the darkness of the world. He
would soon be the last of Clan Farghren, as his mother was choosing to
venture into the underdark alone with her armor and axe, seeking a noble
death rather than passing in her bed.
Upon reaching the surface he talked to many and eventually came across a
priest of Shokai. Learning more of the Skyborn, he found he was inspired and
set out for the shaman's guild hall. The only path of priesthood his clan
had any respect for.
A priest's worth

This day, Gremnosh witnessed a paladin named Bremas and a warrior of the Light
engaged in a duel. Bremas slew Durendal. Accidents happen, but the knight
showed no remorse for his brining death to one he should be attempting to
protect. After berating the paladin and being shouted down by those around
him, he began to wonder about the value they placed on life. And the worth
of a priest, be he shaman or paladin, or healer.
A higher standard must be set, and he has now set his determination to be the
example for priests of the Light and to inform the other priests when he finds
their actions lacking, whether they want to hear it or not.
And to continually attempt to hold himself to even greater standards than
those around him.
His new clan

After many years on the surface, as a war-priest of the Light. Gremnosh
ran across soldiers of a fortress in the cold north. After talking to many
of them, he found himself relegated to the rank of Squire and charged with
formalized duty that he had already taken as his long ago. Along with solid
stone walls to rest his head behind, he had a new clan. A fierce lot, that
he was sure any of his kin would have been proud to have in their halls.
He would not find himself as a squire for long though. A large battle gave
him the opportunity to display just why his people were so dangerous. Just
because a dwarf is unarmed, doesn't mean he has no weapons. A dwarf always
has his cunning, and it's cut is sharper than any mithril blade.
Unable to harm any of the combatants, he used his prayer of recalling to send
half their force to their home cities before they knew what had happened.
Allowing the other members of his clan to fell a few and diffuse their raid
on his new home, and earning the rank of Maran in the Brigade.
