Description

This furious but diminutive mountain of rippled muscle, corded sinew, and thick bone seems immovable. He glares about with two emerald orbs sunken in pools of bright crimson flame. The maze of veins in his eyes caused from a mixture of the intensity of his being and the kegs of ale in his blood. The alcohol on his breath and the earthy smell of soot and stone blend together into an invigorating aroma. It is hard to tell whether the way his mouthful of clenched white boulders is twisted up if it's a mischievous grin or an enrage snarl on his face. Thick black as coal eyebrows point up at his braided hair. Hair which flows down his head and into his prized midnight black beard. The massive beard almost drags on the ground and sways back and forth, weighed down by intricate beads made of various precious and non-precious metals and covered in dwarven runes.

I be Grumbol's Heart

I be Grumbols heart. Most hearts pump blood, but I be pumpn Rage and Fire.
I used ta just pump blood, but then them bastard dark fiends took me Penelope
away and the rage and fire began ta flow! They are all gonna pay fer that!
Ill not stop pumpn till all of them be purified by Grumbols blades.
Started a wee bit at first, but then they exiled Grumbol  ta this hive o
villainy half way across the bloody world. Called it a diplomatic mission
they did, Bah! They couldnt see the damn darkness grown under their damned
noses. Grumbol get ta these lands and find a damned bag o bones runnn the
Law, recruiters fer the dark Empire in the streets, and get pounced by fire
giants and duergar walkn down their main eastern road! He finally reach
ancient Akan, and expectn a heroes welcome, but nooooo. He gets  told ta
fark off at the gates, the King aint seen no one no matter if it be the
king o Mithril Mountain himself. Oh my blood be boiln then, the rage pulsn
through me like water down them Khalid falls. Ta see me kin, walled up in
their castle sittn idle with a coward ruln em.  I heard he aint even be
the rightful heir. Then find the dwarven home of Mortorn be infested wit
duergar and demons fer a thousand years if it be a day. Farkn travesty!
Ludan be a legend fer sure, but he cant see while he be focused on Mortorn
that the world around him be falln ta pieces. Sad day fer dwarves I tell
yer. I thought them rage and fire was gonna make me burst, beatn harder and
faster with each darkfiend  Grumbol purify. Then Grumbol found his home in
the Fortress with folk braver then he ever met in all his days. Now me rhythm
be changn, no longer erratic and overwhelmed with the chaos Fire and Rage.
Slowly at first, but then faster, until with a Jaguars growl it began ta
beat different. The Rage and Fire still strong, but now focused, it beats
with a stronger beat , Mar---an, Mar---an, MAR-AN.

I be Grumbol's Liver

I be Grumbols liver. Help! He be abusin' me something fierce. I be keepn the
kegs of ale he be drink'n like water from kill'n em. He thanks me wit more
ale! He be lik'n dark dwarven ale that helps remind em of home and forget his
lost love Penelope. She went mad and then died shortly after, the brain told
me it be somethin' called a stroke but the heart be swear'n it could only been
the work O dark fiends.  Not suren if I believe the heart heard from the
spleen and kidneys he be broken. And them bladder sure got lotta Gaul sidn
wit the heart. Har, some liver humor! After that Grumbol went from drinkn
mugs ta kegs o ale.  Good thing we dwarven livers be the hardiest in the
realms! Round that time he also be spoutn ta all the good folk o Mithril
Mountain about needn ta hunt down dark fiends all the time, thinkn thats
why the sendn em away. Though sometimes thinkn he like huntn dark fiends
more then he likes his ale not that became a Squire, and I get bored doin
nothin.

I Be Grumbol's Deep Feel'n O' Confusion!

I be Grumbols deep feeln O confusion. I dont understand why they be
sendn a fine warrior like Grumbol Grimblade on a mission o diplomacy. It
couldnt be that he be the last of a combative angry dwarven line to live in
the kingdom of Mithril Mountain, er could it. A kingdom of dwarves founded by
Tiotriks brother across the other side of Thera long long ago. A kingdom
that  long since wiped out all the enemies it had, and now lives a dull and
boring life O peace and prosperity. Some say them dwarves there have gone
soft with nothn ta fight.  I fill Grumbols head as he is sent by the king
himself to visit the dwarven homeland, Mortorn. When he could be trainn the
troops just in case them darkfiends come back. Who will harass the captain of
the guard daily ta send more soldiers into the nearby wilds ta hunt fer dark
fiends? I grab hold when the tell Grumbol that he has to sail the seas, the
blasted seas fer a fortnight. I begin to dwindle until Grumbol comes upon
reaching the ancient continent and the city O Hamsah Mutazz. I fill
Grumbols head completely as he sees an undead creature in charge O the
Justice in this land, and that drow and worse yet stinkn Duergar are allowed
to walk the streets in broad daylight! They are everywhere, its as if the
world has gone mad here, paladin city guards taking orders from the undead! A
vast empire of dark fiends which have recruiters allowed into every city!
Darkness and duergar everywhere, a nightmare to any sane man, or a chance to
finally show what Grumbol Grimblade is made of!
