Description

A large hulking beast stands before you, standing around eight or nine feet in height. His skin is a putrid gray color, and his hair is shaved into that of a Mohawk. His ears are adorned with small bone and skull earrings, and two large serrated tusks jut from the lower lip of his mouth, pushing his face into that of a permanent snarl. His body is well-built, with scars and wounds of various ages that show the state of hardship he has endured. He wears mismatched armors of fur and metals, and strapped to his chest and belt are weapons of all various size and make.

Denial and Lust

Howls permeated the air, and stomps of iron-clad feet caused the earth to
rumble. The thick smell of burning furs and cloth caused Gutulk's teenage (if
one can call an Orc a teenager) nose to wrinkle in distaste, and the ashes
drew tears from his eyes. Yet before he could scowl to one of his slaves to
fan the airs, he was roughly grabbed by two large berserkers.

"Who tink is?! Meh furst sun of furst sow of furst Chiefum Rolg!"

The orcs laughed at him, sneering down at his face.

"Rolg head guh plop! Is brudder Bolg furst Chiefum!"

And with that, Gutulk was unceremoniously tossed into the streets of the
Grinning Skulls, left to languish in the rising piles of litter and shit.

Gutulk was the first son of the first sow of the ex-Chief Rolg. As such, he
was used to being pampered, and having his way. He got the pinky fingers of
the elves brought in (a delicacy, I assure you), and he was the first to
choose the fattest sows and the strongest slaves.

He was a glutton, wanting more and getting it. Yet when he, and all the other
twenty sows and forty sons of ex-Chief Rolg were left to fend for themselves,
he lost the ability to get all he wanted, yet his greed and lust remained.
Gutulk saw the only way to gain all he lost was simply to become the
strongest orc, with the most slaves and the most sows. In other words, the
Chief.

As the ex-Chief's son, Gutulk hated all Chiefs, including his uncle Bolg. He
saw the Chieftain position as rightfully his, and as such despised and
loathed any who claimed the title. Gutulk also knew that many other orcs
desired the position, and he saw that to overcome then he had to make them
his slaves. And if not that, to bash them to a bloody pulp.

Philosophy

Gutulk had a simple philosophy: Slave, Sow, Kill.

The first branched into two parts: If you were an orc female, you were to
become his sow. If you were any race, ethnicity, creed, or other besides a
orc female, you were to be his slave. Gutulk really never comprehended why
many he commanded to be his slaves shook their heads or snarled at him. It
was simple: He was a Chief's son. Hence, they should become his slaves if he
wished it.

If, however, they were foolish enough to not become his slave or sow, he slew
them. For they were not only a threat, but killing was fun. Gutulk liked to
kill. So he did.

Gutulk's aid?

Scowling harshly, Gutulk ran through the dense undergrowth, moving in a
zigzag formation as he attempted to flee (though he called it "taktikul
evasiuns") his pursuers. He could hear them, yelling in glee whenever they
picked up his trail once again.

Upon reaching what he thought to be a safe place within a dark and damp cove,
Gutulk plopped down, exhausted. In a way, the world of Thera was harsher than
that of the Village. Orcs in the village fought each other one against
another, or clan against clan. And if not that, it was simply a mass orgy of
fighting where all from the children to the sows to the berserkeres fought in
all glory. Yet out in the world, Gutulk began to see others bunch up in
groups to defend themselves. Or, to attack him. And Gutulk, despite all his
brute strength, lacked the ability to fight them all. And other times, he
could not even kill some by himself (though he never chose to admit it).

As such, Gutulk began to realize the importance of slaves who would join the
fight with him. He saw Trevente as one, and Maks as another. However, he knew
he needed more, and more. For Gutulk wished to win, and he would do anything
it took to accomplish such.role + Gutulk, deep in his thoughts, never saw them coming until it was too late.
Howling, the two rangers leapt as one, and drove their spears deep into his
back.

As the darkness began to seep into his vision, he nodded to himself. Yes, he
needed his slaves.

The Fake and Real Villages feat. Dwarven hair

Gutulk proudly adjusted the hairy (and albeit slightly smelly) belt that was
wrapped around his waist. A belt that originated from the two faces of Thror.

Gutulk, since he was born, despised the Battleragers. It wasn't their creed,
nor was it their beliefs. Rather, it was simply that they had a village as
well. And to Gutulk, it was the "fake village." He hated how when Therans
said they were part of the village, it was the Battlerager village, not the
Grinning Skulls Clan village. And when someone said they were in the Village,
it was again the former, not the latter. This was unacceptable for Gutulk.
Gutulk, an orc who's love for strength was only overcome by his desire for
power, saw himself, and his clan, at the top. No other.

And thus, when Gutulk was told to choose between the Trickster and the Sapper
Commander, it was a simple choice. Weaken Thror, weaken the battlerager
village. For Gutulk's Village was "the" village.

And who wouldn't want a dwarven ass-hair belt?

Why a Mamlauk

It is said that beings (orcs included) are most impressionable at a young
age. And such was true for Gutulk. As a young orcling, Gutulk would watch the
hooting and howling berserkers of the Clan come after a hunt, carrying with
them meat fresh from the city of Voralian or the castle of Akan. And each
time, Gutulk saw that it was the Mamlauks, the most ferocious looking orcs
who carried the most, shouted the most, and ate the most, who always chilled
Gutulk to the core.

As such, when his moment of initiation came, Gutulk became a Mamlauk. For to
have power, to have strength, one must look the part. Gutulk learned early on
that a twig of an orc never instills fear. A hulking orc does.

What are we going to do with Thrunna?

Gutulk knew that it was a race with Thrunna, the sow, for the position of
Chief, and more importantly, power in the Clan. He had died twice to the sow,
but he was never beaten thrice! Gutulk, despite enjoying feisty sows, knew he
had to beat the sow into her place, a mere cooker and cleaner. She was a
female, after all, and all females belonged next to the pot.

Gutulk, if one could not tell, is a masochistic chauvinistic orc. And also
one who enjoyed holding double standards, as he groveled at the feet of
Anliltuel.

But what can one say? He is an orc.

For Power

"Stoopid orcie! Yuh lurn stuff from dwarfie?! Weak!!"

Scowling, Gutulk whipped around and charged at the sow who had yelled out.
Her body leaned to the side as his axe cleanly bit through her leg, and
before she could scream in pain, he savagely bit off the entirety of her
face.

He snarled at the rest of the crowded orcs before leaving in a rage. Gutulk
would have none of the foolishness of training under Thror. Though he himself
was not fond of the concept of learning from a dwarf, Gutulk wanted power.
And to gain power, he needed strength. And what better way than to learn from
one of the best? Gutulk didn't care what he had to do, or whom he had to do
it to. He was a glutton for power, and he wanted all of it.
