Description
A stout dwarf proudly stands before you. His clothes appear well-kept and
modestly made, barren of the archaic runes or flashy gemstones many of his
more endowed kin might wear. Polished armors gleam faintly in the available
light and they too appear carefully maintained. The composed nature of this
dwarf carries over to his soot-black beard, separated into three parts by a
ring of silver, copper, and gold in respective order. He meets your gaze
evenly, his yellow, beaded eyes locking onto yours. His nose is unbroken,
rare for a warrior of these lands but even more so for a dwarf. His darkened
hair, rivaling that of his beard, is braided in intricate locks and clasped
by various rings of metal. Obviously unlike many of his kind, the most
striking feature of this dwarf is his coppery skin which almost glimmers with
a light all of its own.Strapped within quick reach to his back, the shafts
of two maces protrude over each shoulder covered by a stout shield.
Role
History of the Singing Valley Clan.

Hagart hails from the once proud Singing Valley Clan, a lineage now shamed
and vagrant. Long ago, the Clan accepted work to build a new Empire, a
civilization of unity, pride, and progress. The payment - fire and brimstone
at the hand of the Ebony Warlock, Subjugator of Worlds.
Many generations have since passed - the hallmark dwarven courage and anger
replaced by apathy. But for Hagart, born with an indomitable and just spirit,
time gives no passage to forgetting or forgiving. His people refuse to speak
of the past and it took all of his demanding and inquisitive personality to
pry the few details still remembered of the tragedy. The realization of his
people, of his heritage, of righting the many wrongs evidenced in a broken
world, and of a dignified life motivates this proud dwarf.
Personality, Reason, and Aspiration.

Truthful. Cold. Purposed. Loyal. Demanding. Wise. Unyielding. Hagart can be
difficult to relate to. He often comes off as distant and brash but this is
more due to his self-reliance and focus than a conflict of personality. He
scorns the distraction of alcohol and women and other lesser virtues as he
himself is rather austere and minimal.
He finds comfort in the familiarity of his hammer. He sees it as homage to
his ancestry, of building something with the memory of his clan, but also the
appropriate instrument to deliver justice.
Hagart intends to join the Blood Tribunal. He holds the laws of the Spire in
great regard as they offer peace and protection to the peoples. He greatly
disdains the influence evil commands within the Spire and will work to
greatly diminish and discredit this - the shadow typifies the selfishness of
immorality and wicked works. Hagart strives to embody wise governance and
swift reprisal, and it is definitely the latter that appeals to him most.
He also has taken up the banner of Gareth, the Lance of White Flame. He
imagines himself a part of the line of Gareth and knows he could trace it
back if only his Clan still lived. He desires this knowledge greatly, longing
to identify with the Heavenly Warlord's standard. Above all else, though,
Hagart tends to the Purifying War issued by his immortal lord.
