Role
Mighty gnome!
Added Mon Jul 6 17:45:44 2020 at level 37:
For unknown reason Halimar was natually born as the most massive and
mighty gnome that the World has ever seen. When he popped out of the
womb the healer look at his shoked parents and said "It's a man".
When he grew up to a teenager he was looking like his parents slept
with him when they were scared. And.. the only "magical" ability he
has was to make all gnome ladies immediately wet whe he passed by
flexing his muscules.
Having no gift to cast spells of any kind Halimar was just unbeatable
in the battlefields (gnomish battlefields of course). Thank to his
unusually mighty proportions his beloved weapons were axes of quite
enormous for his kins size, which might cleave an average goblin
just in half!
Apart of daily enhancing self-esteem via kicking other gnome's asses
in the training fields - he was trying to learn the Art of War with
passion. The tactic, strategy, everything that might aid his kins to
eliminate the goblins that were annoying the Hillcrest for ages.
Overall, Halimar is a very positive gnome which loves himself and this
life. He is like.. a cat who ate all sour cream in the house - quite
content with himself. At least he was untill..
The Hatred!
Added Sun Jul 12 08:33:19 2020 at level 51:
Have you ever heard about gnomish elite war troops that were the main
force and the last stand in the great war against dirty goblins? Of
course you don't! Those little beings has their own little world with
little wars and own drama! And barely other races care what's going
on in the far corner of the World beneath the bushes.
Halimar is a former Commander of Hillcrest elite guards. Goblins
called him Warlord no less as the troops under his commandment usually
caused the real bloodbath to the hordes that been unlucky to cross his
path!
As the overwhelming majority of his kins are mages, the common tactic
was to cover them until they cast some destroying spells and/or
shapeshift into something angry and more potent than an average gnome
is.
The battle, that actually caused Halimar to leave his beloved Hillcrest
and settle down in Galadon hoping to find a way in the Village, went on
different scenario: when the hordes of goblins outflank small in numbers
gnomes - the mages suddenly flew away leaving Halimar and his soldiers
alone infront of enemies. Later he found out that they all left to the
Tower of Entropists.
Halimar and several most strong gnomes survived this time. Some of them
found satisfaction in the nearest bar or even went into the Inn for some
delicious alcohol. But Halimar was full of anger and hatred and found
his reason to live: to find and cut off heads of betrayers.
So, full of hatred towards mages, goblins and especially towards gnome
mages (needless to say that when he met this half-goblin half-gnome mage
he just went completely mad), Halimar left Hillcrest and went into the
full of challenges World and joined the Village.
Questions
Added Wed Jul 15 06:33:17 2020 at level 51:
Halimar was training hard and doing his best to thicken the Veil. He
believes that most proper way to do that is to slay mages. So he fights
magic and watches his brothers and sisters and got some thoughts and
even questions that got no answer.. yet.
Drillmistress: Quite strange person from Halimar's point of view! She's
kind, got nice ass which would be good to spank propely but she's
Drillmistress, so no luck with that. But she's kind! Too kind to some
mages and now she showed some kindness even to orcs? Wtf? Halimar
doesn't understand where the way of kindness may lead the Village?
How being kind to enemies you can win the War? Quite strange.
Another question (and this is BIG question) is what the hell she
has got on her forearm? This tattoo clearly produces some magic and
even Eth's own spellban trainings always try to banish it out but
it's kind of continous process. Casting spells and blocking them.
From Halimar's point of view this looks very.. questionably! What
if she's corrupted by magic? Who does she follow and who granted her
(and for what reason) those spells? Ohh.. so many questions!
But Halimar follows the tablet. Elders wrote words for reason. But
so many questions!
Drillmistress
Added Wed Jul 22 17:54:25 2020 at level 51:
Halimar continues to watch Drillmistress and makes some notes to his
notebook: "Arrogant, she definitely is. Talks shite to other brothers
and sisters about our passed away villager. He was drow and her
negative towards him is understandable, but she is fargin' Drillmistress
and we pay her respect, I would expect her respect in reward. Now I
wonder who will be next she tell shite about?"
Village future
Added Sun Aug 9 09:44:08 2020 at level 51:
Halimar just gave another magical thing to Tahren and the pleasing sound
of ruined and burned artifact rings across the lands. This was the last
one that this gnome found around for now. Something changed. The Veil
is terrible thin nowadays and even Tahren's forge helps not with that
ease that this mighty gnome thought at the beginning of his War.
Something changed.
Previously the Veil was more or less in the normal shape and its current
shape speaks so clear as no words can describe: Mages raise their heads.
Even mummy crawled out of its coffin where it rested for that long time.
And someone has to stop them.
Obviously the Village is the only force which is capable to stop magic
from spreading like a disease across Thera. But it looks like battleragers
are concerned of defeating dragons nowadays more than guarding the borders
of our beloved World from uncontrolled magic inflow. And there's nothing
wrong with chasing the dragons, true Warrior's life just consists of
challenges. But the focus is what bothers Halimar the most: Drillmistress
is kind but looks corrupted, also she devides villagers in two which is
just unacceptable and weakens the force that directly depends on teamwork.
Commander remains in shadows and is silent most of the time, looks like
Drillmistress causes some strong impact on him. Isn't it because of this
magic that she is marked with?
And Mageslayers? Those warriors are just legends nowadays! Halimar mutters
something quitely to himself. Something changed and it's obvious. And
those changes should be handled accordingly. It's time to sharpen bloody
axes and hunt the witches! Dragons can wait.
