Description

An ascetic-looking elf about six feet tall, with high cheekbones and delicately pointed ears. Long and wet but neatly tied silvery hair flows across a battle suit that is simple and well maintained. Strapped onto his grey belt are weapons held firmly within it's sheath. His kind blue eyes flashed out from under the arching brows that echo the color of the hair on his head. The slender but muscular limbs, the strong, pointed chin all seems nicely sculpted for a statue. Momentarily it is as if a rainy cloud can be seen raining above his head.

Role

Nightmares! Sweetdreams! Whatever!

Added Thu Mar 20 08:29:09 2008 at level 51:
Hiajist had the oddest dream ever. Duergars! Elves! Children! Garguantan!
Initially Hiajist was unsure what it is about but after speaking to his
Lady, he felt as if those are listing out the events that happened in his
life, in a none-precise manner. Perhaps it is a sign that Hiajist could
be straying on his path that he sought and still seek. The path of the
Priest of Yean and the path of the Captain of the Fortress. Even though his
vigor wanes, he continues to march forward, not giving up. Straying away
from his path? Definitely not!

There just have to be an end!

Added Mon Mar 3 09:31:45 2008 at level 51:
Hiajist realised that his vigor is weakening and thus he anticipate that it
would be a major problem in the future. He hopes to be find a way to enhance his
vigor, in so that the can continue to seek out the beauty in his path, eventually
achieving them.

Blame the Minstrels for Inspirations!

Added Mon Feb 18 06:21:12 2008 at level 51:
Hiajist has been hanging out with alot of minstrels lately, listening to their
tales, poetries, songs. No one has no idea how, what got into Hiajist, but at
this moment of time, he seems to be deeply in love with poetries. It seems that
the Fortress Acolytes Minstrels are the cause and reason behind it. Hiajist is
inspired to write poetries that would strengthen the faith in others and increase
the hope in their dreams, those of the light of course!

The bootie boot boots! One day Fortress Intern! Don't give up!

Added Fri Feb 8 03:41:09 2008 at level 37:
Hiajist was invited to leave the Fortress, after being asked if he would
accept Siphana's aid in terms of defending the Fortress. Hiajist politely
rejected and advised the Captain that he had given some thought about
this before submitting an application. Hiajist knew that this will
become an issue eventually, considering it is within his Lady's teachings
not to accept anything from the conjurers. That is because conjurers are
so weak that they need aid from other planar, so logically how can anyone
take aid from such 'weak' conjurers? Hiajist advised the Captain that he
has confident that he would not be such situation that he would need aid
from Siphana, and all he asked from the Captain is some Faith in him and
some Hope for the future endeavour. But the Captain is indulged in his
own belief, refusing to provide such deeds of charity. Therefore Hiajist
was forced to leave, under a scenario given by the Captain, which might
not even exist at all. All of you can discard him, but none can take his
faith away from him.

Hiajist went to Goddess Baerinika's sanctuary jungle to seek her with
regards to this situation. But the Goddess was out hunting, and couldn't
answer Hiajist's prayers. Therefore Hiajist went to his Lady's sanctuary
hut to meditated, unknowingly Goddess Yean was there already, with open
doors awaiting for him. They spoked and chatted for a while, agreeing
that this is part of life that would be an invaluable experiences that
not many would have had.

Istdinen, a friend, was next to face this situation, he argued and fought
until the Silver Lord himself appeared, which results in Istdinen not
being forced to leave. Which finally, Captain Gramoak has decided that
he would invite both Acvilar and Hiajist back as a Squire. At this very
moment, a thought hit Hiajist's mind. The power of the Orb and the power
of the guild are two different things. Perhaps if the conjurer is unable
to aid with guild, perhaps he or she can aid ONLY with the power of the
orb. That is what Goddess Yean agreed on as well. Therefore Hiajist wrote
a scribe titled, conjurer, to the Lords and Ladies, to inform, and he
continues to wait for a reinstate, while continue honing what he has
learned and continue hunting the taint.

We are the Beacon of Light, Hope and Faith. If we cannot have faith in
each other, than what nonsense Unity is his. Hiajist is very thankful that
Istdinen has so much faith in him and Acvilar. A friend in need is a
friend indeed. Irregardless of differences, it is hope and faith that
brought us together, but the cruelty would be, it is also hope and faith
that seperates us, bringing us apart. What that does not bring us down
will make us stronger, what that brought us down will make us even stronger.
As long as we do not give up, we'll become stronger, our faith will strengthen
and our hope will be brighter. On forward we march! Hiajist finds that it
it is not easy to seek divine assistance to return to the Fortress. Instead
of being put down with disappointment, he took it as a test of dedication!

Knowledge and Strength! I want both of them!

Added Tue Feb 5 11:22:54 2008 at level 34:
Knowledge comes in various forms, be it information from a book,
experiences from combat or stories. The factors that makes one a
beauty, should be classified under knowledge. It is one of the major
factor that facets the outcomes of one's beauty. Where Strength is
the other factor. Capabilities and performance determines how bright
one will shine, how beautiful a beauty is. It is like a measurement
against time and growth. For example, how to swing a sword as if
one is dancing, instead of obvious rigid movement, the gracefulness
of such would be a classic examples. Combining both would take a great
feat, but the best is to let things work on its own naturally, that
usually gives the best outcome. All in which, to achieve beauty that
become us, and us become beauty. The above are the thoughts of Hiajist.

Beautiful Beautiful Me! I will be a Beauty!

Added Tue Feb 5 02:49:50 2008 at level 32:
What truly is beauty one would think. Truly what appears before the
eye will be destroyed through time, snatched by others, diminished
by various means. Throughout a man's life, there are events, changes,
gains and losses. Those affect the gem that is without the man's life.
This gem get polished by time as it passes. This gem is what beauty
truly is, it will exist from the beginning of life, to the very end
of death. One would wonder, how such gem can be polished. When time
passes, the knowledges, skills, capabilities, relationships, events
become waxes that wax this gem. Gaining a positive edge of of them,
will allow the gem to be polished. How does such affect Hiajist you
you wonder. At each stage of his life, marks a growth in him, in
terms of mentality and capability, polishing the gem within him.
Until he reaches the stage where the gem shines so bright within him,
that whatever he does, can be seen as an act of beauty, as if he is
beauty itself, the gem. Carrying it with him, to his grave.

My heart, My body, My Soul for the Fortress!

Added Mon Feb 4 23:45:31 2008 at level 30:
Hiajist spoke with Mryzzel and Acvilar, earning their recommendations,
finally Captain Gramoak gave him an opportunity to become a Squire.
From this day onwards, Hiajist fully commits himself to the Fortress,
(not that he hasn't in the past, just that he didn't have the chance
to do it physically, since he is not a part of them yet.) He continues
to train to kill, to excel in the arts of swordplay and divine skills.
The typical days of training goes on, until something happens again,
but that is of course a tale for another time.

The causes! The roots! Destroy the roots! Ouch! That hurts!

Added Wed Jan 30 09:09:03 2008 at level 20:
The roots of all the sins, the beginning of all evil, just the name
Enlilth is not sufficient. Greed, Lust, Gluttony, Sloth, Chaos,
Deception, Betrayal, Anger are amoung many other causes that are the
roots of all evil. But where do they come from, you would think.
From the heart, they are all from the heart and for some exceptional
cases would be culture and teachings. But nevertheless, the heart
determines ones' action, decision and future. That is where all the
problems came from, inner desire of the heart. If all mortals are
willing to comprehend with being harmonious, this would have all been
resolved. None of the blasphemous acts would have happened, neither
would have existed. It is not easy to change one's heart and desire.
Be it by blades or words, diplomatic or brutal, something has to
be done. He has chosen to walk the path of the Maran, the blades are
what he has chosen, which is what he shall focus on. He will leave most
of the wordings to his other half, the Acolytes. Though, He will do
some wordings himself, but that will not be his priority option.

Ever since Hiajist started his two-handed techniques training, it seems
that he has some problems countering his opponents' moves, parrying
and avoiding their attacks seems somewhat more difficult. He proceed to
learn from others of his type on ways to engage this issue.

It just has to be the Fortress! More so the Marans!

Added Tue Jan 29 11:03:34 2008 at level 12:
As he wander in the midst of his travel, seeking for the cause of
the corruption of the Virgin Forest, Hiajist found shadowy creatures
sneaking about, corrupting every tiny bit of natural wild that they
touch. He also discovered about slavery about the imperials,
disruption of the peaceful dead by the necromancers! What BLASPHEMOUS
acts are these! Acts that destroy the peacefulness, divineness and
miraculous of life! Sinful! Absolutely Sinful! Hiajist thinks silently.
" These sinners must be taught! In a civilized manner or a barbaric
manner, they must be taught! It will be a sin to destroy the miracle
product of life but if there must be a sinner to destroy all sinners,
might as well let it be me. " The Fortress is where he shall be a part
of, they will be the army that he shall join. A sinner he shall become
for the sake of the miraculous beauty of life. He will need strength
knowledge and wisdom, in order to achieve the final result, which is
the recovery of Virgin Forest.

The music from her flute is the cause!

Added Tue Jan 29 05:09:40 2008 at level 10:
Whilst on the way out of the Virgin Forest, the melodic tune played
from a flute, lured Hiajist to the mountainous peak that towers
before the Frigid Wasteland. There, Hiajist found a hut built on
crimson stained grounds. He approaches the hut and found the origin
of the melodic tune. It came from within the hut. He observes the
surrounding of the hut and discovered many stunning natural views
from the snowy white cape(frigid wasteland), to the long and the
dried canyon(dried lakebed), to the most beautiful Virgin Forest.
The owner of this hut must definitely be a person who shows great
appreciation of beauty.

Hiajist discovered that he has late for his enrollment into the
Paladin Guild, quickly he bows before the door of the hut and races
down to Voralian City where he will now call home. Oh! I forgotten
to tell you how he decided to become a Paladin. Anyway, somehow
somewhere, Hiajist read about paladins, about them being powerful
and wise. He believes that he will need great knowledge, wisdom
and strength, in order to restore the beauty in Virgin Forest. That
is why he decided to enroll for the paladin guild. Which from there
he learned about the hut above the mountain, that is THE sanctuary
of the Sublime Goddess, Divine Minstrel of the Heavens, Lady Yean.
He learned that faith, belief and divine patron are all important
part of the training for a paladin. Hiajist believes that fate
brought him to the Sublime Goddess. He runs happily to the Sublime
Goddess to seek her divine blessings. (That is of course after he
has done some information gathering about the Sublime Goddess)

Nature's bane? Most definitely not!

Added Tue Jan 29 03:29:50 2008 at level 3:
Well, where shall I start this story? About an elf who lived
in the wild for hundred and hundreds of years, who has a
major problem with wilderness. Not exactly a problem really
considering his passion for nature. But it seems like nature
doesn't like him. They would disturb him, play pranks on him
and sometimes, bad nasty jokes. But he isn't too bothered by
their acts of mischief. Instead, he has a positive thought:
'At least they are bothered to play with me!'. What is the
boy's name you would think? Well, let me introduce you to
Hiajist Naturebane.

The past of this elven boy is unknown to anyone. His memories
all gone, stolen or whatever that could have happened. Though
he is not too quite bothered about it. Instead, he has a yet
another positive thought: "Whatever that happened must be bad
so I'm just glad that I'm still alive and kicking or being
kicked!". He is housed within the Virgin Forest, where he
cohabitats together with the wilderness that lives there before
he moved in.

The following is his daily routine.
Make the bed after waking up, washing up and clean the house.
Step of the house, get tripped by twigs and roots on the ground.
Have some assorted berries for breakfast.
Picked up some dried twigs and branches for the fireplace while
having a small tiny rain cloud raining over his head.
Make some lovely and yet simple lunch.
Have lunch under the tall willow tree and some leaves and bugs
dropped into his food.
Pick up some ingredients for dinner, occasionally have a small
lightning struck at him.
Have dinner, clean up the utensils.
Watch the stars while having a small tiny rain cloud raining
over his head.
It is time to hit the hay and the day will repeat itself again.

He believes all that happened in a day, are all the beauty of
nature, all the energy all around, makes him more lively. He
would probably be the least charismatic elf that ever lived one
would think, but he thinks otherwise. Who would have thought
that this elf would ever stray from this routine. Well, which he
has to, in order for the story to go on.

It was not long, where the evil goddess, Eshval built her blood
shrine northwest of the Virgin Forest, corrupting the wilderness
in the area. Hiajist worked hard to defend what that is left
which is not corrupted, preserving and protected the does and deers
from the rabid wolves. Not long after, the goddess shifted her
shrine to somewhere else, but the decayed forest did not recover.
The ever natural pond continued to be tainted and the wilds in
the forest seems more dead than alive. The Goddess was not the
reason, it was something else. Something else that Hiajist need
to find out and fix, in order to resume his daily routine lifestyle.
This marks the beginning of the journey of Hiajist Naturebane.

51 97 Yean One thing...it would be good if you could flavour your words in a more Theran manner. At present, too much modern type speech is used.
51 129 Rayihn Took down Kostyan one on one, which trust me is pretty impressive.
