Description
She is a daunting figure because of her sheer mass whether standing or
laying down. It would take several rotund humans to equal her bulk. That
ashen white physique is lean of fats except for where her soft curves
proclaim her gender. Limbs ripple with corded muscles as she makes even
the slightest move while various pieces of armor have been pieced
together to form a personal defense against many possible attacks, mail
for piercing and slicing weapons and plates for blunt force. A white
round shield which has been painted with an infinite helix is strapped to
her back for her to employ as the need arises. At her side she wields
humongous weapons that might cut a foe in half. Her hair, bereft of
pigment, has been prepared in a fashion of a maiden of war where the
sides are collected and braided towards the nape while a third braid
loosely gathers the locks from her crown. The rest hang freely down upon
her strapping shoulders. If it were not for the tribal tattoos around
her sky blue eyes that form black flames along the eyebrows and talons
down the cheeks, a solidly set jaws and level green eyes would exude a
calmness instead of issuing forth caution.
Role
Background: Tribes of the North, Migration, and the Refuge
Added Sun Jan 15 03:58:37 2017 at level 5:
Cloud giants of the far north are a violent breed, often intra-fighting
between tribes for hunting grounds or as demonstration for superiority in
breeding. It also is not uncommon for scuffles and fights to break out
among tribal members. Though usually not fatal, they are brutal displays
of savagery. Among these nomads, the female giants are known to be just
as ferocious as the males. Hrrnt especially has always been tenacious
and ready to engage in battle.
The tribes of north begin their winter migration south following the
large herds of caribou, buffalo, and elk. Their communities have always
maintained relative equilibrium with the land, always sojourning the
lands with lodgings made from hide and wood, and only taking so much from
a herd as to not decimate its capacity to repopulate. Never was this
done out of some cognitive need to nurture the lands, but simply as the
way in which they could continue to survive the harsh icy tundra century
after century.
With dreams of warmer lands and hunting grounds for her people, Hrrnt set
out upon a journey of discovery over the southern ranges. When she came
over the so-called Northern Mountains, she was confounded by the way
creature tore into the land and built massive structures of stone and
wood. That they would live their lives anchored to a plot of land that
they had leeched out everything possible from it and yet would to bring
supplies through merchants so they could continue to survive boggled the
mind. These new lands had potential but these people of the south who
left little pocket of waste and destruction must be culled.
In preparation for the migration of the tribes to these new lands Hrrnt
has begun an aggressive campaign against the civilized world. It was
during such actions that she caught wind of a mix band of creatures that
were also making effective attacks against the diggers and leeches of the
land. These creatures would be helpful in the time before the migration,
and then perhaps they might find themselves space outside her hunting
grounds after. First though, she must find this place of theirs they
call the Refuge.
Personality
Added Mon Jan 16 00:52:44 2017 at level 14:
- Hrrnt ValQryn is pronounced Hurnt FalKuren
- She is not one for diplomacy or dealing with quarrels with words and
prefers to settle the argument with violence.
- In response to a good weapon, Hrrnt only answer is, An axe. It is
her point of pride that is ingrained from her culture that mastery of an
axe is the best way to fight. She prefers no other weapon (and will
therefore specialize in nothing else.) Once she has learned all she can
of the other weapons, she will never pick them up again.
- Her loyalties are to her tribe and herself currently. There is still
the potential to form bonds with other in the southern lands. Those who
are as savage and quick to fight as her will find themselves easily
aligned with her. Pacifist will be tolerated as long as their actions
never interfere with her agendas.
- Met Kroatak, a fire giant applicant of village, took a liking to their
aggression and blood in blood out mentality. Found that he was under
the sign of the infinite helix, Jormyr. The frost god of the north had a
name down here, and followers beyond that of the tribes. There would be
allies of the storm here. Change was coming and she looked forward to
it.
- Her actions, she hopes will please the Lord of Strife...
