Description
A tall figure stands here, wings potruding
from his back like two great blades. Dark
yet gleaming eyes peer out from over a long
and raptor like beak. Dark feathers,
combinations of dark greys and shades of
black make this arial look more like a
shadow than a bird. Lithe yet strong
seeming muscles stand out especially on the
arial's arms and legs. The muscle structure
and body structure give away the male heritage
of the race. What looks like blood seems to
stain the grey feathers around the left eye
socket of the arial, an eye socket that is
obviously empty the more examined it is.
Assorted armor covers the body of the arial,
though he seems to wear no cloth under it for
padding.

A Family Means Nothing

Dark eyes... dark feathers... dark thoughts.
They permeate my brain, my body, my soul.
But why? Why do these thoughts come to me?
Why are my feelings supplanted by my dark
thoughts. I'll tell you why. I was born
into the perfect family. I was born into a
family who worshipped the Fiery Bird Shokai.
They worked hard for the family, they worked
hard for themselves and each other, always
trying to make things better and normally
succeeding. How could I stand this? They
thought I would not be any different. They
thought that my ways would be the same as
theirs... oh how they were wrong. I still
feel a twinkle in my eye as I think about it.
They drove me insane... oh yes... so insane.
Part of my world... most of my world,
unknowingly to them, was my weapons. Oh
yes... my weapons... they became my heart and
soul. They became stained with blood... the
blood of my family. My family's blood empowers
my body, fills my soul... and their screams
echo in my ears. Oh how I revel in the
thoughts. I will not lead my life blindly
under the rule of some puffed up fire bird who
cannot even come down to the mortal realm long
enough to put himself out. I require, not
just seek, power for myself. My arms will
become my destruction, my wings my speed to
foil my enemies... oh yes... my time is come.
May you fear when you come upon me... for I
feel nothing... and that makes me more
dangerous than any other insane person...
yes... insane...
