Description
Standing before you is a thin emaciated form standing about five and a half
feet tall. A long sharp nose and white scarred eyebrows accent ice-blue eyes.
The deeply sunken eyes glint with madness framed by white hair draped over
his ebony face. His face appearing to have been cut from marble. The lines
and crags of age are hard to tell apart from the jagged scars and course
areas from his numerous obvious battles. A heavy cloak lays upon his
shoulders its hood covering most of his head, giving him a sinister
appearance. His armor is antique and has seen many battles, great dents and
much patchwork cover it. Its build is seemingly masculin but, what muscular
definition is seen is wiry and pulled taught under pale skin. His armor is
simple and allows for the maximum freedom of movement.
Role
A Beginning

A beginning
Iborenn starting his life as an escaped household slave did
not expect to live a long or good life. In the beginning he
was armed with a simple spell book and a vague grasp of how
to use those spells. His first big step into the world was
escaping from the city. Not an easy task as the patrols would
kill him on site as a runaway slave.
Breathing as quietly as possible he creeps up behind the
patroller hoping to get close enough to use his one spell.
Taking a single breath he begins whispering the words and
points at the patroller, the power of the magic rushes
through his veins and towards the patroller. Though he used
his magic properly it still did not work as the patroller
was only slightly shaken by his simple sleep spell. Not
giving up easily, Iborenn lunged at the warrior hoping to
yet still evade capture and ultimately a horrible death at
the hands of his people. The warrior whirled around to
meet Iborenns charge and attempted to use the force of
Iborenns charge to impale him upon his blade. Though
unskilled in the finer points of weapon fighting Iborenn
still expected this and twisted to the side at the last
moment and delivers a telling blow to the side of the
patrollers head with the palm of his hand. With a painful
thud the patroller crumples to the ground, his weapons
falling from his now limp hands.
The sky is a dark grey as a single steel door is opened
for the first time in a long time. As the door seal
gives a rush of water pours through on the figure standing
on a flimsy ladder. Soaked and dirty Iborenn steps into
the above world for the first time. A stranger to rain
and wind Iborenn glares at the sky and scrambles off into
the filth littered city of Galadon.
The never ending battle

As Iborenn grew older and wiser of the ways if surface
walkers he learned of Ragers of Battle. Having experience
in the ways of magic Iborenn found himself agreeing with
brave warriors. If Iborenn learned anything from being
alone it is that all he needed to survive was himself. To
rely on someone or something else was simply a way to
speed to your death as you can always rely on yourself
but, your great powers or best allies will not always
be at your command.
Iborenn found himself wanting to free his people from
this weakness that is magic. Believing that if he took
away the plague of magic that infects them they would
be able to rely upon themselves and would generally be
able to more enjoy their lives.
Thoughts on Brethren
Added Wed Apr 21 19:00:39 2004 at level 50:
Iborenn coming from the underdark continues to not
understand surface dwellers habits or attitudes. Unable
to understand the concept of friendship, Iborenn finds
himself making enemies constantly. Frowning upon weakness
he simply discards those that he believes cannot defend
themselves. Another concept Iborenn seems to struggle with
constantly is the fact that these surface dwellers believe
words are binding having found that by saying one thing
and doing another causes much of a uproar. Iborenn has
also been accused of being a thief, Iborenn knows that
if its in his hands its his, and if its not it should be.
Though often unable to understand surface dwellers he
still attempts to work with his brothers of Battle.
