Description
A tall and muscular man clothed in white is here, bathing in an aura of
light. Green hair flows freely are a bit lengthy, hiding his ears. The bushy
eyebrows of this giant tend to reveal his emotions too easily with the help
of his emerald eyes. His build is quite large though mostly muscular as his
armor takes the shape of his muscles. His appearance always tends to be clean
and elegant. A long cape with the crest of a trident piercing a shield
flutters in the wind.
Role
Update of Ilbjorga Valdar
Added Thu Oct 16 21:28:20 2008 at level 51:
Many years has passed and Ilbjorga is now known as Squire Valdar. He also
wields his sword for the Holy Brigade. It has been a hard decision for him at
first for two reasons. The first, he would involve clearly in this Holy War
and the second, to choose between the duty of the Maran or the Acolyte was a
tough one. Many would think being a Knight of Rayihn, the Goddess of Love,
would suit better the duty of the shield of Thera. Although, in the mind of
Ilbjorga, he feels that wielding his sword and be the one who stains his
hands is also an act of love, an act of protection of those he cares for, an
act that will bond a link of friendship towards a greater goal. Although,
when he is on the battlefield, he won't hesitate to be the agressive sword or
the more protective father.
As time pass, he wonders about the curse deep in his soul that stays
stagnant. Is it a sign that he is strong enough to bear it without eating him
away? Will it awaken anytime soon? Few knows of it as he is afraid of the
people's reaction and wishes to avoid to shaken their faith in him. And so he
seeks his Lady to not only devout himself to her, to further be enlightened
so he can preach further her precets...but that he may seal this curse to
avoid any unknown evil towards those he cares...
Enlightenment

The bell ringed in the Cathedral of Arkham and Ilbjorga was there,
meditating. It has already been a few weeks since he has begun his new
journey under the guidance of Lady Rayihn. After their first talk, he thought
a lot of the words she spoke to him...what is love? What is hate? And what
does he like in the duty he must accomplish?
Love: He now knows it has many facets...as vague as the seas. He knows that
he loves the people as they are quite interesting. He also loves the
relations he has made with many people may it be members of his guild,
traveling companions or random people. He loves to see happiness around him
and does anything he can to make it so. He also likes the battlefield and
enjoys fighting...although he would prefer not to kill. He is aware though
that for his duty, he must.
Hate: He does hate a few things. He hates murder and greed, he hates walking
long distances although he will never really say it, he hates those tainted
for their legacy of suffering upon the weak and defenceless but as well as
their vile achievements may it be with the dead or dark magic.
Duty: So it comes to the duty, what does he love about it? Of course, he will
fight a lot so his thirst of challenge. He also loves the fact they he is
actually making a difference in this society. It gives him the strength to
face perhaps the greatest challenges. And he blesses everyday the fact that
he is now guided by a lady Immortal, the fact that without his duty, he
wouldnt be taught so much and wouldnt meet such an inspiring Goddess. He
believes that what he will learn from her will be good for the people of
Thera.
He opened his eyes and knew that perhaps it is becoming clearer. And so, he
continued his adventure a little wiser.
Paladins

Even though cursed, he returned back to Voralian City to enter the academy.
This is where he first met Nicolette the Guardian of the Fallen. He told her
that he wanted to become strong as was his father and become at least half as
was his late father. He wishes to become the defender of those who need to be
protected, someone who can make a difference in these dark ages. Nicolette
invited him to follow her in the guild to teach him about the Paladins, the
Code they follow, their role in Thera as well as the guidance and influence
of the Gods in their life. With the teachings of the Code and the wisdom of
the Gods, you can bring a better life to the world, to give a new meaning to
those who lost hope. That is when the name of Rayihn came up. As he learned
of the Pantheon, he felt that perhaps the Goddess of the Water would be a
good teacher, a good guide through his life. And then, perhaps, he may be
able to reborn the name of the Valdar family, he may as well make the world a
better place and safer for those in need...
The Legacy of the Valdar family
Added Sun Sep 28 17:59:40 2008 at level 2:
The legacy of the Valdar family first begun back in the second age where they
established in the late city of Tar Valon. Of course, they werent as known
as they are today, but they all did something to make the world a better
place. It all first begun in the third age where they became more pious and
righteous, they became known as heroes of the perpetual war that is the Holy
and the Wicked. There was Tasgar the defender of the hopeless who stood
strong to protect the city of Voralian City against an horde of orcs...and
then his son, Mattun, became a war hero after a campaign in the depths of
Hell with many mercenaries. He gave birth to Ilbjorga whose story has yet
begun.
Mattun, after this campaign, left Voralian city to a journey in the Northern
parts of the land to rescue a fellow companion with Sibink the Fierce, a
dwarf whos known for his part in many raids in the Imperial Lands. Both
left...and never came back. Many weeks passed after some news came to the
ears of the Voralian citizens. The story was that Sibink had died, the
companion as well perished and that Mattun disappeared. Half the people of
Voralian city started to believe that Mattun was the one responsible for
their death and left cowardly to hide like a criminal. His good name, since
that day, as well as the Valdars name, was forever tarnished.
Of course, his son, Ilbjorga, was convinced that it was false. He left home
by himself to witness the truth with his own eyes. He traveled with only his
backpack and a long wooden stick to defend him against the beasts that would
stand in his way. He didnt care of his fate or the name of his
familty...what he really wanted was to see his father again, to know that he
is well.
Arriving near a dark forest, he entered the trail and then he set a camp to
rest for the night. Although something happened that night that changed the
young storm giants life forever. In the middle of the night, he heard a
whisper...something that woke him up and gave him chills through his
spine...like he felt the deep darkness within his soul. He looked
around...the fire had died and it was very dark. He opened a lantern just to
see a shadow near him. It slowly walked in the direction of the young man,
whispering constantly vile words...speaking of death and torment. He ran
away, frightened, but in the wrong direction, walking deeply in the forest
until he fell in a small slope. Near his fall, there was a piece of paper and
what seemed to be a camp...someone was here before. He recognized the writing
of his father as well as some pieces of leather that he wore in battle with
the seal of the Valdar family...a crest of a trident piercing a shield. The
letter was a bit bloodied and there was not many words...just that he was
sorry, that he couldnt save them.
At that moment, he knew that his father wasnt a murderer. As he felt warmer
from this news, the shadow returned before the giant. He then grasped him by
the throat, lifting the young man in the air, gasping for air. The other hand
then struck him in the guts and passed through him. His blood became so cold
and his body was so numb as the piercing hands of that creature went through
him that he felt unconscious. The daylight woke him up next
morning...although he felt different, uneasy. This is wh
